This past weekend I took a trip to Scottsdale for the 4^th of July and was really excited to look for a pendant with all the amazing stones Arizona has to offer! I walked into Sunrise Gallery with no expectations, no budget, it was awesome. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by an older woman who immediately wanted to know how much money I wanted to spend. I really didn’t have any expectations, it was more of an if I like it and the price is right I will buy it type of adventure. So I said «not sure» to which she rolled her eyes. I then asked if she had any coral pendants I could see to which she responded with, «yeah, I do, but its $ 1000 for a real coral pendant». I looked at her and said «OK, can I see it»? Again, I was in the mood to shop and if I saw an amazing gorgeous coral pendant that I could just not live without, I was willing to spend. So as I continued looking at the jewelry I found 3 pendants that I liked enough, it wasn’t an «I can’t live without them», but they were nice so I told her that this is the first store I went into and I wanted to go look at the other stores before I made a decision to which she let out a huge sigh and said to her co-​worker, «can you come and help me put these things away, I took a lot of things out for this lady (3 small pendants that I was comparing) because I thought she was actually going to buy something». At this point I had enough… I actually would have gone back to buy this really pretty coral cross I liked and a couple of chains but I left saying «If that’s your attitude I will not give you a penny». Ultimately it was a really awful experience and it completely turned me off of buying myself jewelry that day…

I don’t understand the bad review posted. My experiences in this store have been wonderful. The saleslady has always been extremely helpful and the pieces they sell are beautiful. Sounds to me like the negative reviewer may have caused an issue by being rude or having an attitude. It’s my favorite Scottsdale store and I’ve purchased many wonderful things there at very good prices.

I must say I am surprised to read the previous reviews I recently went there while on vacation and wanted to purchase something nice for a friend. At first the gallery seemed like the other ones but the salesperson was very nice and eager to sell. She also made some helpful suggestions and although I’m sure I could have found these items cheaper online I’m glad I got them in person.
