Storage West Self Storage

This was my first self-​storage experience and Storage West made it a painless. I was able to research everything on their website which included photos, prices, and the availability of units. Also, I was able to reserve the unit I wanted online and without a credit card. After placing the order I received an online email confirmation as well as a call from the facility manager, Diane, who set up a time for me to visit the facility and sign the paperwork.
Diane was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process as smooth and as fast as possible. After a tour of the facility and being shown the unit I would be getting I had the keys in under 15 minutes.
The facility is very nice, not too big, and not too busy. It was clean and looks safe which is nice. I’m glad I chose this place for my first self-​storage experience. But why only 4 stars? There are 3 main reasons. I didn’t like that there aren’t office hours on the weekends to sign a lease which didn’t really jive with my work schedule, the gate hours are only from 7am to 7pm (everyday) which can be a bummer if you do things at odd hours, and they sneak in a one time $ 20 «admin fee» which isn’t the worst thing in the world but still pisses me off.
Anyway, I am very pleased with Storage West. The leasing process was easy, the facility is nice, the price is decent, and the staff is excellent. Most of all I think my stuff is safe there so I guess that is the most important thing.
