Came by at 3:30 pm and it was CLOSED even though it says it is open right now on Unilocal and their site says this location is still open, the lights were off and the gate closed. It may no longer be in business!

Swirls is the old yogurtology inside of Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and the same problems exist. They have one or two people working. which would be fine in amy other yogurt place. but here they dont let you get your own samples. Basiaclly you ask for samples, they ask you of what and aerve you a little cup. While this is happening. people are trying to checkout and you cant bc of the samples situation. My yogurt was melting. Half of my cookie dissappeared.(hey i was hungry) and i was still waiting. If it wasnt bc of this the rating qould be higher. But it is a consistent problem.

Ice cream is great. But the two girls working the store were terrible. They didn’t get off of their phones the whole time I was in the store, even while ringing me up she was still on her phone playing a video. They were on the floor behind the counter when I walked it and were just laughing the whole time with out acknowledging me or any other customers. They were very immature and annoying. Went back in to grab some napkins and there was a line of people waiting to be rung up because the girls were in the back!

Swirls is a great rest stop in the middle of your Christmas shopping! Great location in the food court at Fashion Square… such a friendly staff, and the best yogurt in town!!! A must stop!!! Highly recommend

SUMMARY: Overpriced, stingy on samples, bad customer service, and no water! Using Yogurtland in Chandler as the baseline of what a good yogurt place SHOULD be, let’s review: 1. Yogurtland is not afraid to set sample cups out and let you have at it. Swirls refuses to let you sample it unless the checkout girl personally fills up your sample cup and hands it to you. 2. Yogurtland has a nice fresh lemon/fruit-infused filtered water with cups sitting out. Swirls doesn’t have ANYTHING to drink, unless you want to buy a bottle of water. 3. Yogurtland’s price is about 2⁄3 that of Swirls… and Yogurtland has better and more flavors and much better looking toppings. Ultimately this just becomes another example of how you go to a place because you’re in Scottsdale mall, and what could possibly be less than amazing, cool and wonderful inside that place? Answer: Anything people are dumb enough to patronize for that reason alone.

Way too expensive. My wife and I spent $ 20.00 for two small yogurts. Product was acceptable but the cleanliness was questionable. Flies everywhere. Management is aware of the problems but feels that it is the customer’s issues rather than the business ‘s problems. If amount of business is an indication, we were the only customers the entire time we were there and we will not be back.

There was a bug in my yogurt! Theh took a look at it and sure enough there was a little critter. They were nice enough to let me get a new one after that. Beware of the fruits!

Located inside Scottsdale Fashion Square, you’ll find the old«Yogurtology» but with a new name, Swirls. A co-worker was telling me today that the Yogurtology near Kierland had also changed their name to Swirls; some kind of business-related name dispute. Anywho, you’ll basically find the same set-up — self-serve yogurt and self-serve toppings bar. Swirls had 2 flavors that set itself apart from other yogurt shops tonight, though… A Vanilla Custard and a No Sugar Added Cake Batter. Both were pretty tasty and I’ve never seen these flavors at other yogurt shops. The toppings bar could definitely use some help though! There were fruit flies everywhere! I really have no idea why they are so prolific here? I’ve never noticed them at other yogurt shops I frequent, only this location. I would think there is some kind of natural deterrent they could use to alleviate this problem? It’s pretty unappetizing to spoon some blueberries on your yogurt whilst watching little bugs scatter and fly around :-( They do get points for having a variety of nuts — almonds, peanuts, pecans, and walnuts! They also had quite a few liquid toppings lined up against the wall and two heated toppings. I think I would definitely beef up their stars if they could get rid of those dang flies!
