Had a wonderful time here trying different wines with the cheese board. The staff was kind and attentive. I really enjoyed the white wines and my friend loved the refreshment wines. The shop is small and very cute. I felt comfortable and the wine was excellent quality. I look forward to coming back here! The location is in the shopping center near the Albertsons and not hard to find. My gps took me right to it. Looking forward to going back.

Great time was had by all. Enjoyed all of the selections of wine paired with cheese. Attended the tasting with my non — wine tasting family. They were inspired by all of the information presented and truly enjoyed the experience. An excellent way to introduce wine in a positive manner. Deserie took the time necessary to make everyone comfortable and provided differences in the production of wine. She was knowledgeable as to the grape varieties, soil content and location of vineyards. Wonderful way to start he afternoon.

Jackie and Desiree were fantastic. We tried several wineries in Scottsdale and this was hands down our favorite; from the staff to the wine. We are planning a birthday party there now and can’t wait to work more with these wonderful ladies!

We had so much fun here! I don’t know what people are complaining about, it was not disorganized, it was fun and casual. My BIL set it up for my sister and we loved it! Desirae(hope that is spelled right?) was fantastic and we had so much fun with her! She answered all of my questions and was fun and interesting. I would love to Come back here!

We totally enjoyed the experience we actually just happened upon when we went to a business next door. We tasted the wine then Sara filled us in on the way things work and we were off to the races making wine! We just bottled batch number one and now making a port. We encourage people to check it out it is really fun and a nice couple activity. Oh yeah having a few cases of wine at the end is a nice perk too!

My fiancé and I made a batch of Pinotage for Christmas presents and it turned out great! What a perfect gift it was. We enjoyed giving our friends and family a gift that we made ourselves. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Wine-making package gift for Valentine’s Day and we FINALLY used it! It was interesting to learn the steps as we went through them. The Sunday Staff is super fun and friendly. It’s a casual service environment but I prefer that to having someone hover over me like a pretentious vulture! BESTPART? we had scheduled dates to do each step. We got to design our own label which was a hoot and… Christmas Gifts are bottled, capped and in the closet maturing(more than you can say for us!!)

Not only does the place feature the ability and experience of making your own wine, but the place also sells all products and equipment for the home brewer too. The staff has always been fabulous to me and offer great advice in case I’ve got a question about a certain process. I’ve also gone to one of their sangria challenge nights, quite a fun experience where you’ll get to make a jug of sangria with some strangers and then sample each team’s to judge on different factors. Such a great add to the heart of Scottsdale!

I wish I could give them a 3.5, since it was a fun evening… The husband, brother, SIL and I came here for a Sangria Challenge Groupon… It seemed a little ill-organized; they had no idea how many people had registered for that night and were not set up for the large-ish crowd of 18. Our group was left to stand as they had only 12 seats at tables, and a few scattered chairs they gathered. They spent the first 15 – 25 min talking about the store and the kind of experience you could have custom-making wine with friends and family. They also had a wine tasting during this time, and there was a few cheeses and crackers for snacking on. We were split into 4 teams and were given a bottle of wine and some fruit and other mixers to make our own batch of Sangria. Our group of 4 decided to partner up with a group of 2 so none of us would be split up. Our team actually ended up having a blast together and made a really good Sangria — or rather, MAN-gria(and WON!) You basically are supposed to make a batch and taste the other teams’ mixes, and make a label and presentation for your sangria. Since our team was so huge and the bottle of wine so… quickly consumed, there wasn’t much left for others to try ours… and some just didn’t seem very appealing. All-in-all… it was a pretty fun night(all of the booze definitely helped!)… just wish it was better organized, that there was a better variety of fruit to use, and more space for more teams. I now feel confident that I will be able to make a good batch of Sangria on my own. For future Groupon-ers… The address on the Groupon is incorrect! Vintner’s is actually between Albertson’s and LoLo’s Chicken and Waffles, on the Southeast corner of Thomas and Scottsdale.
