The wings were pretty good and the wait or was very friendly. I would definitely return

Not a fancy place but the food is great! It is bar food for the most part but the daily specials are typically fantastic. We eat at the bar and the service varies based on who is working. Some bartenders are very good and others… not so much, but it is a bar. It is a bar with very good food

We eat here quite a bit and never had a bad meal. Wings are fantastic, and there’s a great beer selection. The build a burger is delicious, but the wings are what you go for!

A good spot off the beaten path to grab some wings. My friend and I split cheesesteak pierogies as an app, which were quite good, especially with some spicy ketchup for dipping. The garlic parmesan wings were good. I needed a little extra kick with a side of their hotter sauce though. Wings were a little small, but crispy and fresh. Beer selection was decent. A father/son run the place and the son was bartending and a very nice guy who really cares about the business. I’d go back for the wings again.

Great place… standard items but with great flavors. 20 plus for wings, atleast three flavors of homemade chips. Each day offers chefs specials to die for and fresh beers to try on tap.

Great wings in the tradition of The DONKEY café. Plenty of bar food menu items to cover multiple choices. Large beer and drink selections. Stop by when you see Jeff Lewis playing tunes for a great time.

Ya so four of us went for beers and wings. Try the porketta rub wings, amazing! Paul Martin on guitar and vocals playing all of our old favorites. We will be back!

A group of us were traveling through the area and found this place on Unilocal. The food is great, the beer list is huge and the service was out of this world. When you first see the place and it’s location you may want to turn and run, but give them a chance, they will nock your socks off.

Bar food, not fancy but seriously great bar food. Had to try the wings I’d heard so much about and I was not disappointed. Lots of sauces to choose from – evilly hot to smooth & spicy. Had garlic Parmesan wings & wish we’d ordered more. The chicken panini in a balsamic sauce was tender, juicy &(as Trump would say) YOOGE. I had to take half home(just as tasty hours later). In fact, I suggested that they consider using the balsamic sauce for the wings. It’s a perfect compliment for chicken. Since I was driving, I didn’t get to sample the large drink/beer offerings, but I intend to return to do so.

Go eat here. Seriously, put your telephone down and go to Jason’s. Where do I begin? First of all, the bar is nice and clean. There is air conditioning and you have to take your smoking outside! The booze — they have many beers, from fancy to standard. They have lots of liquor. No St-Germain. But they have a cool drink menu. Try the cucumber gimlet, please. The food — THISFOODRULES. The dude and his friends love the chicken wings and hamburgers. The beer-battered chicken strips are amazing, and I loved them. Try the garlic butter Parmesan or the wing sauce. All good! I also love the fries. Good portions, specials on selected nights, and quick as a bunny service. The barkeep — all so freaking nice and on top of it! Very friendly, quick, and accommodating. They switched the gin for vodka in my booze and didn’t get irate. They even put WWE’s Monday evening program on, much to the delight of the dude. Pricing — good, standard! Check for specials. Cash only. The location is hard to find, but my picky butt promises it is worth it! :) :) Go, Jason’s!

Food was fantastic service was outstanding!!! They bought the donkey & still serve their famous wings. This place is not fancy but that’s usually where you find the best food & that we did. Their burgers are juicy fresh huge & cooked just perfect. The chicken panini was a huge thick chicken breast that was so flavorful. Generally when you get chicken that thick its dry. They have fresh cut fries that are perfectly cooked & seasoned. Their wings are the best around. They have 17 flavors & looks they add new flavors all the time. Every night they run specials but it doesn’t matter what you order it will be 2 thumbs up. Never mind the 75+ beers they carry. You can’t go wrong

If you are looking for great bar food, it doesn’t get much better than Jason’s. Honestly never had anything bad here. Specials are always the way to go. If it mentions crab… get it.

Great local spot. My buddy, who has family everywhere in Scranton brought me here. It was fun. We watched some soccer on the TV, people buying people drinks, the bartenders were fun on a slow night. My burger was delicious and quite filling. I left partially drunk and definitely full. Great success!

Stopped in on a Saturday night, the place was moderately busy, found a spot at the bar and had a great time! Friendly staff, owner and patrons. I had their wings, delicious and Guinness on Tap. They also had 2 guys on guitar at 9, who were very good– I will be back!

This is everything a person would want in a NEPA wing joint. It’s got a fantastic beer selection featuring some great local craft beers. The owner is a great guy who always takes time to stop by the table and handed out T-Shirts to our entire table last visit. Finally, they’ve got great wings. The sauce is incredible. The wings are smaller and always crispy. We loved the Donkey and feel the same way about Jason’s.

I consider myself a wing connoisseur. That being said, I can definitely say that Jason’s has some of the best wings in the area. They’ve got a wide variety of flavors. My favorites are Hot Garlic, Porketta(dry rub), Cowboy(also a dry rub), and Mustard BBQ. I’ve been on wing night a few times now and have not been disappointed. If you’re into wings, this is a spot to try.

Got to try the cheeseburgers. They are amazing. The fries are also out of this world. I know that they are trying to get the reputation of being a premier wing joint as well but I am a wing snob and the wings are too small for me to put them in that vaulted category. Still, great dive bar that I would take my wife to. I have never had bad service, the beer is cold, the food is way above average to great and as an added bonus when I have seen the owner there he goes out of his way to be polite and introduce himself.

Unknown to me until I pulled up, it looks as if the Donkey has sold out to new mgt and is now called Jason’s. There looks to be major remodeling.(not a bad thing considering the old Donkey). The bar is open now with 3 flat screens on each side of the bar and a big one on the wall. The beer menu has been drastically improved! There are 10 beers on tap, including some Magic Hat, Peroni and Guiness. Of course, there is more liquor as well compared to the old place. The menu has wings, burgers, salads and pizza. A bit more than used to be. Unfortunately, the wings weren’t exactly the same. Don’t get me wrong, they were good, but I used to drive out of my way for Donkey wings. They were hot and crispy. Atmosphere was irrelevant. Now the atmosphere is greatly improved(the kind of place I would spend Sunday afternoons to watch football), the wings are good just not«drive out of the way» special. It was only my first time at the new place and I’m not giving up on the new place just yet. I will go back to see if the old wing magic comes back.

Went this afternoon for some football as wings. The wings and French fries were really good and the service was friendly. Try the Bloody Mary, $ 3 on Sundays. Best I’ve tried in a long time!
