This was the 3rd GF cake that we’ve ordered from M. They are consistently Top Notch! We had the Almond Joy cake and it was delicious by any standards! Efficient business people w great tastes — Cheers M, we had a great party in part to you!

I was very happy with the results from Minooka. They offer gluten free options which is why I went to them in the beginning. From the first meeting, I was impressed with their professionalism and willingness to work with what I wanted for my wedding. Their cake and cupcakes were great. I would definitely recommend them.

I have been going to minooka pastry shop for years and today the service was terrible. The girl that took my order was so rude. She had no customer service skills. She was yelling at my grandmother «what do you want?» «I can’t see what you’re pointing to.» She had no patience for us and seemed bothered by our presence. I was appalled by the service given to us.

I went here on Christmas Eve to pick up a pie and some pastries for family. I had heard wonderful things about their pies and cookies, so I was looking forward to some tasty confections. The confections (cake pop, pie) did not let me down. However, my boyfriend and I were giggling, but one young woman (early 20’s) threatened to make us leave. «Enough, or leave,» she said. I guess she had a stick up her butt but I haven’t been spoken to like that since I was 10!

Loved this place and anytime I was going home my family would beg for me to bring them goodies. They have a great selection but you need to go early to get the best! My number one favorite was the cheese Danish, there is no other like it. Their cheese is not as sweet as most but so good. All of their Danish flavors are good, blueberry, raspberry, apple, cheese and cherry. The also have doughnuts and paczki’s at special times of the year with great fillings. Their butter cookies are also yummy. This is a great little bakery!

Minooka Pastry Shop is a step away from Moosic In Scranton, Pa 5 minutes from SNO Mountain, This review is based on what I tried. The Cheese Cannoli was very good with a crisp shell and ricotta cheese filling complimented with mini chocolate chips at the ends. The Pepper Cookie was interesting. Appears to specialize in wedding cakes.
