Wings are ok, slow but very nice service and too much smoke. Left when crowd got rowdy.

Best wings in the valley! It’s a must stop if your passing through. Get the Hot Garlic wings and you won’t be disappointed.

This is a smoking establishment that serves MORE than 20% food. You can’t breathe and u reek from cigarette smoke when u leave.

Food here is really good for bar food. Other than that it doesn’t have much going for it. Not a real fan of bars that allow smoking, but their clientele isn’t the most classy bunch.

The food here is great. Their wings are a very good size and have an excellent selection of sauces. Beer selection has improved tremendously. The service has always been great anytime I’ve gone there. Only drawback is that they allow smoking. If this was a non-​smoking bar, I’d give it 5 stars.

Besides drinking and having a good time here, the food is amazing! There is not one thing on the menu I wouldn’t recommend to somebody. Everything is deeelishhh especially the wings and pizza

This place sucks. It has the whole «dudebro» and «I drink here with my coworkers» vibe. Smells like smoke. Parking is not lovely. Staff seemed friendly.

Me and some friends were in town for a show and we were pretty excited to try the place out… Unfortunately we were greeted by an older woman with an attitude problem for a bar tender and were almost immediately asked to leave because because she didn’t believe one of our ID’s was really ours. (O’mallys down the street noticed it in fact was real and were happy to serve us). It’s one thing to ask us to leave but the way she went about it was rude. She also pulled another customer into the situation by claiming he was with us and giving him a hard time about the situation as well. So if you’re young and want to be starred at like you have two heads and then get your id declined, this is your bar.

This place is a dive bar. And i mean that in a good way. Cheap drinks, decent bar food, and they have occasional entertainment. The only issue I had on a couple of visits on a weekend were that patrons were incredibly intoxicated, should not have been served, and some guys were acting a bit aggressive. Chill out dudes!

Great food, cheap beer and very friendly staff. Karaōke on Friday and Saturday nights, pool and darts. Definitely a good atmosphere and really nice inside!

Standard neighborhood bar with above-​average food. Beer selection is nothing to write home about, but the smoke is the real killer. The place looks like New York Harbor at 9:30 on the fourth of july. Bring your oxygen tank, you’ll need it.

This place is ok. The crowd can really vary but not really my type. Bartenders are quick with your drink and the wings arent bad either. it’s not my first choice but i dont mind going there

Upgrade! On Saturday night, the 50 wings and an order of cheese fries that our drunken party of seven devoured in record time tasted like food of the gods. The wings were small but meaty, and cooked perfectly. There wasn’t much variation between the different flavors, but that could also be because bones were flying in all directions and sauce was everywhere. I do remember enjoying the sweetness of the Thai sweet pepper wings. Two thumbs up for late night eats. I still won’t eat the pizza (sorry, John H).

The food was good I really liked their chorizo & cheddar stuffed jalapeños wrapped with bacon. The hot garlic wings weren’t that hot but was flavorful. However, it took over 30 minutes to serve these appetizers and took nearly another 10 – 20 minutes to get the check & pay. Though our server was polite, it seemed she had to handle the tables & the bar.

Great place for beer and bar food. Buffalo wrap is my favorite but it’s all good.

Beer was cheap. Went on a Thursday and I think it was $ 2 pints. Got a gang of wings for a reasonable price. Came out to be less than 50 cents a wing.
Bartender is really nice. Not really my kind of crowd, dude next to me had a mullet, but they were a friendly bunch I must say. And don’t expect them change the channel if there’s a hockey game going on… hence the name «The Penalty Box».
I would come back.

brightest bar in the universe, but they have good buffalo bites and those giant towers of beer. If you’re a nerd like me, some meathead sports dude is bound to try and mess with ya. Luckily I have laser pistols for hands

Awesome wings in a variety of flavors (spicy to sweet to tangy).
Great chicken cheese steaks.
Reasonable prices and a friendly staff in a family like atmosphere.
Wanted to point out that the other review (Michelle C) of the pizza is not fair. She is obviously not familiar with «Old Forge» style pizza, which is what the Penalty Box serves. It is square pizza, but not traditional Sicillian. It has sweet sauce and American type cheese. I don’t care for it either, but it is very popular in that area.
I love the Box, especially the wings.
