Really disappointed and disgusted. Better off sleeping in the car. Used this place as a last resort when all else was booked solid. Now I know why!

This was the most disgusting hotel I have been to. I have used the Red Carpet Inn in the Bronx in NYC, and Scranton, PA and I must say I will neverstay there again. The room smelled like smoke even though it had no smoking signs all over, but that was bearable. The last time we used the hotel in Scranton, the toilet would not flush and the tub would not drain. It would fill up while we showered. I cannot imagine how many people have used those facilities without efficient plumbing. we complained to reception but they refused to compensate us or offer us another room.
It is not worth the discounted room rate.

The hotel advertised $ 65 base rate on the web so we pulled off the highway for a deal but when we got their the insisted their rate was $ 85 plus tax. Pretty inconvenient! Call first.
