Pezzi Pizza

Food is delicious! Best sauce anywhere! However, you have to go in to eat it. Ambiance not that great but the place is clean and eating in is better than having it delivered. If you have to wait for delivery, by the time it arrives its cold and has to be reheated which takes away from the taste and texture of the dish. They need more delivery guys on busy night!

This is a good place to go if your starving. I’m not very fond of how stretchy the cheese is but besides that the pizza is good! I love the Penne ala vodka.

I’ve eaten/​ordered delivery from Pezzi many times. I really like their buffalo slice. However, they just lost my business. I ordered a pie at 837 pm (they close 10 pm). The pizza never came and when I called back at 945 to find out what was going on, there was no answer. We figured to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited longer. However, no pizza, no phone call, and no explanation.
I called the following day to find out what happened. Supposedly they took it to my old address that they had saved on the computer. However, I was asked on the phone and gave my new address when I placed the order. I also never received a single phone call, even though they claimed they called (why not leave a voicemail if there is no answer? or call more than once?). When I spoke to the manager he was more upset that they threw out the pizza than knowing customers were hungry and waiting for food for hours. He offered a 20% discount, at which point I became even more upset because he hadn’t even apologized after listening to me complain for several minutes. He apologized only when I asked him to. Absurd customer service. Goodbye Pezzi Pizza.

Where is the cheese and sauce with my Pizza? I liked the Pizza the first TWO times I ordered… but after that I got a flat bread with a touch of sauce and cheese (burnt Pizza tonight)…oh well, too nice of a nice guy to complaint to management. I am looking up another place for my Friday night Pizza fix!!!

Every time I go here, I just dream about opening up a pizza place that serves this type of pizza in Rhode Island because it is that good. The buffalo and BBQ chicken slices are literally filled covered in chicken. The penne alla vodka slice is awesome but my favorite thing here are the pepperoni chips. I have bought 2 dozen of these and eaten them all on my way back to RI, they are that good. Get Pizza place in Glen Head.

I order from here at least one time a week. My wife says the salad pizza is very good. I have tried all the hot subs and most of the entrees, everything is consistently good here. Fast friendly delivery and I have never had a messed up order. Also great for sitting down and eating there, its a pizza place so don’t go for the ambiance!

Love this place. We order from here all the time. Sometimes just pizza and sometimes entrees from their take out menu. I have never been disappointed. Great variety. Awesome food and pizza.

The food and accommodating service is terrific here. We recently had a $ 200 catering order for our New Years Day Open House gathering and we went to Pezzi Pizza. It included penne alla vodka, lasagna and chicken franchese, along with a couple of pizzas. We all enjoyed the delicious food that was ready when promised. To get to Pezzi Pizza from home I pass about 5 – 6 pizza shops, but it’s worth going out of my way a bit to enjoy the fresh homemade ingredients. The shop is family run and the owners are from Italy! They take pride in the food they offer.

Cheap cheese-​this is some of the greasiest pizza I have eaten. Not a big fan. There are a few better places in the area with better pizza. This review was written solely on their pizza-​have not tried pastas there.

Best pizza on the North Shore!
I’ve tried a number of places around Glen Cove, Glen Head, Sea Cliff, Roslyn… & Pezzi is by far the best around here. It’s the only place I’ve found on Long Island that can compare to Queens pizza. :)

Only place we turn to for pizza in town. Price just went up but its still worth it for us. Go to Pezzi. You won’t be disappointed!

It would not be my first stop if I wanted a plain slice of cheese pizza however whenever I want anything but a plain slice of cheese pizza it is my first stop. I love their buffalo as well as their BBQ chicken pizza. When I really want to splurge on my caloric intake I order the penne a la vodka pizza (carb. loading) but YUM!
If you are adventurous then you will love to keep coming back to try all their different flavors like their meat and potato pizza and many many more.

Pezzi Pizza is arguably my favorite pizza place in the Glen Cove/​Glen Head/​Sea Cliff area. They offer up a lot of different and creative choices between their amazing Chicken Bruschetta pizza and tasty buffalo chicken pizza. Even their regular sausage slice is a step above most of the other pizza locations in the area as well… with Sal’s Pizza probably being my favorite when it comes to regular slices. But rating innovation and creativity and flavor — Pezzi is the best.
Pezzi’s location is also pretty good. They have ample parking and good seating within the location — as long as you don’t go during peak times (sometimes the lines get long). Also, it’s right down the block from Ralph’s Ices (read my review for that). Thus, you can make it an amazing Italian food night. And there can be plenty of those in the North Shore area.
