Got taco shell for the first time yesterday. We both got salads and they were very good. My only recommendation would be more meat; I wasn’t full after my meal. Lots of hot sauces to add to your meal as well. Next time will be trying the tacos or burrito bowl, they looked great. Nice, friendly staff!

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. This food was a God sent. As you step foot into taco shell you’re nervous, it is not immediately apparent that you have entered the gates of heaven, until you’re nose deep in your burrito, taco, bowl, whatever it may be. Choosing taco shell is not a decision you will ever regret. I personally have yet to taste any food that surpasses the glory of my chicken tacos. For the rest of my time being in Sea Isle City I will eat taco shell for every meal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.

This place is right around the corner of my in laws shore house. They are a typical Chipotle style restaurant. The food was great and the service greater. I love that they have all of the styles of the locally made hot sauce(Hank Sauce) available for you to use on your burrito/taco/salad. There is seating enough for groups of four or so. I really like the place and it is only about 10 yards past my usual lunch stop so I will be coming back often in the summer time. I hope they around for a while.

Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and best service I’ve had in Sea Isle. The owners clearly know what they are doing, as the employees are polite and the food quality is superb. I would definitely eat here again.

Every time I’ve eaten here I’ve been impressed by how fresh the food is. I don’t eat meat so a place like Taco Shells is perfect since there are a lot of options — just without meat. I’ve had the Big Tat burrito — most burritos seem like they could be 2 meals. The guacamole was tasty, and the nachos were huge. My sister had the chili and raved over it. A great place for quick Mexican food, and it won’t break the bank. And the owners/workers are very friendly! While there are a few tables inside, I’ve only done take out.

Super fresh, super affordable, super nice owner and staff. Truly a hidden gem in Sea Isle, where Italian food and seafood dominate the dining scene. The place is small, I mean intimate. Outdoor seating is available as well. Photo op available too. I ordered chips and queso with a side of Pico and 2 tacos(1 hard 1 soft because I seemed indecisive and they offered…) my partner had the rootin’ tootin’ chicken burrito. It was by far the best and freshest Mexican style food I’ve had! My taco was served with lettuce, Pico, cheese, black olives and a side of green onion sour cream. The burrito looked like the Mexican version of sushi art. It was amazing. Black beans perfectly placed. Meat dead center. Wish I got pics :(
They weren’t busy for dine in due to Food truck festival so the owner came out of the kitchen to check on us and we talked restaurant talk for 20 min. — they make all there own sauces except for the 5 different HANK sauces on the hot sauce bar. I’m obsessed with HANK sauces so to find them in a restaurant scores them mad bonus points. — they make daily the green onion sour cream they serve — 1 bad Unilocal photo and review of a certain seafood item in their first year led to the item being pulled and replaced with a different fish and supplier –they don’t add any salt to their food. Which is great you can add salt buy can never take it out… — homemade chips made throughout the day. — all veggies are hand cut. Which means all ingredients are hand cut. Literally eating handmade salsa, Pico, etc And… THEYWILLBEOPENFORTHEPOLARPLUNGE!!!

So good! I was looking forward to trying Taco Shell when I got to Sea Isle City. I was not disappointed. I got a beef burrito that came with ranch dip & tortilla chips on the side. It was huge! I made it through at least ¾ of it. I was so stuffed, but I couldn’t stop eating! LOVED!

Disappointing nowhere near the 5 star rating. Quesada was bland too much cheese and very little chicken. Tacos were tasteless fish was ok but rest was shop bought.

This place is great. Everything is awesome. I didn’t like the guacamole because it had cumin in it for some reason. But, hey, they’re gonna get it right eventually so I’m giving them five stars. I was hungry an hour after I ate their burrito bowl. But, hey, if I just think positively, things will get better. No one likes a negative person so I’m just going to write good things about this place like: They have lots of electricity and seem to pay their utility bill on time They were able to take my payment without a problem I liked that we got three sauces from the salsa bar and couldn’t tell the difference between any of them because it’s better when everything is the same. So, go to Taco Shell if you need to eat food because they have it. Hang in there buddy; things are going to get better. You just have to believe.

The food that I sampled was unremarkable. The beef taco seasoning is either Ortega taco seasoning from the supermarket or whatever bulk taco seasoning they sell at Sam’s Club. Store bought stale shells as well. The Super Rice Bowl is basically ghetto food. I liken it to what a college student would make from the leftovers in his dorm room mini fridge. White rice seasoned with some Taco Bell sauce packets, add cheddar cheese and sour cream. Mix that together. This is what they serve. If this sounds appealing then have at it. This is just another Bastardized, Americanized«Mexican» joint.

This has got to be my favorite go to taco place in all of sea isle. All of the food is always freshly prepared, hot, and amazing. There is a perfect blend of seasonings and the pico is amazing. All the food is made to order, and the set up is cozy and convenient. One of the chefs, Francine I believe, came up to the front to see how all the food came out. Keep up the great cooking and you most certainly have a very satisfied customer!

Love this place! I went here with my family in 2012 when we were in the area for vacation and it became our favorite place to eat. When we returned to the area this year(August 2014) we made it a point to eat here again. The chicken burrito is the best buritto I’ve ever had! The owner is also super nice. Our daughter is a picky eater, so she was nice enough to make us a side of white rice before she seasoned it. You can see everything they make is fresh(you can look into the kitchen from the counter), and everything we’ve tried on the menu has been delicious! This place should be 5 stars, hands down.

You could make it out of a package just as easy. I don’t think the food is seasoned or cooked. I tastes like it’s just reheated. Kids in the kitchen add to the less than good rating. This place would probably do better if they put a little effort into the food. My fault for coming without Unilocaling

Pretty cool place. I went here with my daughter, she goes here once a week, at least, in the summer. I am not big on Mexican other than fish tacos, but these guys have a solid product. Everything tastes fresh and is prepared well. They are a cool«4» because the staff is polite, it is a clean place, they are good with kids and my daughter LOVES their food. She is my consultant on all things teenagers like and on Hispanic influences. Hispanic flavor and dishes are slowly creeping into my diet, and will likely being doing the same with most people. Hispanic food is huge right now in Philly, so I hope these guys are doing well, they are definitely ahead of the curve in Sea Isle. Somethng I forgot, there is ample parking on this part of the island. There was a house that burned down during Sandy across the street at 50th and Landis. They knocked this down and you can park there. It sounds depressing but on the same corner the 7 – 11 closed and you can park there as well, I have never seen a tow truck and I can see both lots from my condo. The third magic spot is the Library, which is about a full block and a half away, but it’s free.

My daughter and I ordered take out from here the other night. Our order lower us to sample many options from the menu. We loved it all. The only negative I would say and it is minor would be that the chips were a bit stale. I do think it is tough to keep items such as chips fresh at the shore.

Puzzled as to why this place doesn’t have 5 stars as of this review, but I’m giving it a five in hopes that it gets a boost, because Taco Shell is off the hook. Soo good. The Taco Shell is definitely not a fancy place — you walk up to order and they bring you your food in a basket once it’s ready. With that said, why does one need anything fancier when the food is that good? We discovered the Taco Shell on our last night in Sea Isle and my husband and I each had a burrito. The ingredients tasted very fresh and the burrito was so good that we thought about going back to split a second one. The best part about their burritos for me, though, was the construction. They grill the outside of the burrito so parts of the shell get lightly browned with a nice little crunch. This probably helps the burrito stay together. They also don’t overfill, so they’re just perfectly wrapped little bundles of burrito. Wonderful. Oh, and my burrito came with a side of chipotle ranch dressing — I asked for a second one because it was so good. We went back the following morning for breakfast(they have breakfast offerings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only right now) and had a very similar experience. I will say that the breakfast menu is a little misleading — a lot of the burrito options contain potatoes(which I was okay with, but not thrilled about) but they’re actually crunchy hash brown type potatoes — um, awesome! Way better than what I was expecting! The breakfast burrito hit the spot as much as the dinner burritos we had the night before. Finally, the staff was friendly and seemed to be happy working there — always a plus. I would go severely out of my way to eat at Taco Shell again, and will definitely make it a frequent stop during my next vacation in Sea Isle.

Taco shells were like you get at a super market. Pico de gallo tasted a week or more old. No salsa for the chips. The good was the guacamole. Good and fresh and good value. They also carry Mexican bottled sodas. Staff was friendly and courteous. Summary, not bad, but not good either.
