Luciano’s Pizzeria

All I can say is the pizza was delicious. We got two large pizzas-​the Meat Lovers and the Hawaiian. Has to be in the top five pizzas I have ever had and I have been to many pizza places. Lot of toppings and the crust was excellent.

Love the pizza here! Wood-​fired taste, crust is just right and the pizza has lots of flavor! We are local and this is our go-​to for pizza.

Wow, really great pizza. We ordered 3 large pies for our party of 10 and not a slice left. Everyone loved it. Nice thin crust, great sauce and lots of cheese. We will be ordering from here again.

Best pizza I’ve ever had just went there today ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would eat again wish they would come where we live also the garlic knots where the most tastiest I’ve ever had. I’m going back tonight to pick some slices up and a t shirt

Just picked up a large pizza with bacon on top and it is scrumptious. I called in my order for pick up and it was ready when promised. The pizza makers at Lucianos are really good. Thanks!

Had a slice of sausage pizza. It was pretty good. Quick to get in and out. Nice cashier running the place.

Best pizza I’ve had in a long time! Really impressed with this place. Bare bones local pizza and really delivers with amazing flavor and a personal touch. If you’re looking for solid pizza at a fair price this is your destination. And do yourself a favor and order the garlic knots — they taste amazing. I’ve had pizza in a lot of big cities and this is as good as anywhere.

Straight up awesome pizza. Awesome staff. Crust doesn’t get soggy and is flavorful. Had wraps and Stromboli that were really great too. Give this place a try!

Good and bad. Good: the young man working was kind, personable and welcoming. Bad: dude can’t make a sandwich. I got The Heater and there was a large amount of roll uncovered on each side. The bread was not toasted. The cold cuts looked (and tasted) microwaved. My fiancé got a meatball parm and that too was not toasted. So I left a bad review. Here comes the good: the owner Mike reached out to me with a gracious and thoughtful apology, insisting that’s not the experience they want me left with. Although I have left Seabrook for the season, based on the owners thoughtfulness alone we will absolutely give them another try.

We are also in town from NY and had pizza here last week. We thought it was great. Nick served us with a smile and we are definitely planning on going back again.

Horrible experience. Visitors to the island and found a menu for this place. Placed our order and drove in to pick it up. The total was $ 20 more than expected because they raised their prices without changing the menu or mentioning the increase in prices over the phone when I called to order. On top of that poor customer service the food was all burnt. The bottom of the pizza was in edible. The garlic knots were burnt to a crisp on top. It was a great and expensive disappointment

This pizza was great and definitely hit the spot after a 12 hr car ride! I called 20 min before closing and the crew could not have been nicer when I placed and order. Arrived at the restaurant and they were more than happy to add a side of marinara here and another side of ranch there. Very impressed with this place and will definitely order pizza again this week! Get the meat lovers — just the right amount of toppings and very delicious sauce!

Based on the other reviews, I feel compelled to speak up. It would be terrible for a small business to lose customers because of a few crabby commenters.
My husband and I are staying in seabrook island and ordered pizza from here tonight. It was DELICIOUS. The crust was chewy, with a wood fire taste to it. The sauce was incredibly fresh with great spices mixed in– fresh basil, perhaps? We got a 14″ pepperoni and the slices were generous. The pepperoni had a slight heat to it, so it really stood out among other generic pepperoni pizzas. It was loaded with cheese, and we didn’t even order double cheese. The only thing was the garlic knots we ordered were charred, almost black on one side. Were we upset? No way, just more room for pizza
That’s the thing, folks. You want a positive experience? LOOK for it. Luciano’s pizza made it easy for us to do that. If you’re in the area, stop by.

Pizza is tasteless, bland. Worst pizza in my life, even Little Caesars is 100 times better, please avoid this place. I tried two slices, tasteless. then i tried a whole pizza fresh from the oven, it is the same tasteless pizza. My shoe with mayo tastes better!

I couldn’t tell you what the pizza tastes like because the «GM» was so rude and inappropriate to us that we asked for a refund and left. We arrived early because we misheard the woman on the phone and the «GM» made it very clear that are pizza wasn’t ready by screaming at us from the back of the restaurant and then proceeded to glare at us. When we asked the poor clerk if it would be possible to get a refund he then bounded to the front and scolded me on my earliness. When I told him we were leaving due to his horrible attitude not the fact the food wasn’t done he then started to bicker with me back and forth until my husband made it known that we would have been more than fine with waiting but we were not willing to give our business to «his» establishment. There was a lot more to this horrible story but no need to go into every detail. The only thing good about this place was the sales clerk. So sweet! I felt bad for her and every one of those employees we watched him scream at. We went to Pizza Hut. They know how to treat a lady.

We absolutely loved this place when it first open. The original crew was on point and the food tasted like it was straight out of a pizza joint in NY. It has broken our hearts to watch this place go down hill so fast. After six months or so from when they arrived it seems as if they have been purposely trying to irritate and lose customers. Orders are wrong, food is either under cooked or over cooked and the staff seems like they could truly care less. Almost as if our order being correct and cooked properly is just too much trouble and work for them. Sooo upsetting. We had promised to give up on it as we were just becoming more dissatisfied with each visit. However the owner, via email, asked that we give it one more try. So we did, and what a complete disaster and another disappointing meal. We have officially given up on Luciano’s, RIP. You had a chance there for a minute. Save yourself some aggravation and take the drive to JI Pizza!

Hi — for some reason my previous review was not picked by the automated software used by Unilocal in order to be «recommended.» I wanted to write another review because I really recommend this place. Not only did they reply to my original review posted in ³⁄₂₀₁₄ but they also changed their policy from no substitutions to allowing one substitution per specialty pie (you can see the review under «not recommended reviews»). This was more than I had expected — and when I went back in, true to their word, a substitution was allowed (very considerate for people with food allergies — for us, it is peppers).
They have also expanded their menu and I can not wait to try the new items. Their pizzas are almost as good as my go to place in NY. I will try their subs again (as I was greatly disappointed by their meatball sub — not enough meatballs and not enough sauce) but I did enjoy the lasagna they had this past winter. It was perfect to put in the freezer and have available for those late night arrivals when nothing is open (well, Harris Teeter is now open late but that is a new thing).
They have changed a few things since they opened up last year so I hope that people who tried them last season make the effort to give these guys a second chance.

Pizza was good, order was originally messed up but they made it right. Stuff happens.

Why are they so rude to people giving them money. Go to Reds next door.
Pizza was dry and tasteless.
Meatballs were good but more like meatless.
Very small and not friendly.
