Deer, dolphins and dunes = heaven on earth. Seventh stay on Seabrook. I live in California now but have made the trip back three times. I travel frequently all over the world and rarely want to come back to the same place twice because there’s so much of this amazing planet to see. I keep coming back to Seabrook for a consistently relaxing and amazing beach vacation. We have stayed in Pelican Watch five times. Convenient 10 minute walk to the beach club, but a secluded feel and stunning sunset views. Typical to see deer in the mornings and dolphins in the evenings. The neighbors are friendly too! Charleston is a 45 minute drive so an easy trip. If you want a nice dinner and drinks evening in town, I recommend Charleston Eagles transportation.

Been coming here since the 80’s and always a fantastic time. Since the building of the new Club House and Beach Club the experience has been even better. The Pelican’s Nest has a good selection of food and the drinks are excellent. Plenty of seats and a splendid view of the sand bar, home to many many pelicans just off shore. You can frequently see dolphins swimming by between shore and the sand bar. Two very nice golf courses that are seldom busy along with a large tennis complex and a large recreation center complete the amenities for the Island. The Recreation center has both an outdoor pool and an indoor lap pool and a library in addition to a well equipped gym. We will continue our visits to Seabrook which is a much more residential Island than neighboring Kiawah.
