Pelican’s Nest is a good restaurant… for the location and staff. Although, the food is very average. I got the hush puppies for the appetizer and the sesame-seared tuna for the entrée. The hush puppies were great. They were moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. On the other hand… the tuna was bad. It was supposed to be rare on the inside and cooked on the outside. Instead, it was cooked all the way through. Also, I thought it would be an Asian flavor since it said«sesame-seared» but it had an odd combination of creole and Japanese flavors. To add to that, the rice and Asian slaw were both flavorless. For me the highlight of the dish were the tempura green beans which were nice and crispy. To sum it up this is a restaurant with a great location and good staff with very average food.

Love this waterfront restaurant on Seabrook Island. Service is excellent. Food is great for typical casual fare. Fried shrimp, tater tots and burgers were all great. Definitely better choice than Red’s or King Street locally.

Really good Quality bar food, but the service was a bit slow. They have really good hamburgers on a onion roll, I was thoroughly impressed with it.

Always good, Always something for the kids too. I had a big Salad with Grilled Chicken, Strawberries, Granny Smith apples, candied pecans, greens and Honey mustard. Very good! I had the clubhouse sandwich a few days ago with fresh French fries. the peal and eat shrimp are amazing too. Great place to eat, relax and enjoy the water.

Some of the worst bar food I’ve ever had. We arrived a little late on the Island and didn’t want to mess with cooking. We looked up this place since it was casual and on the beach. We figured it would be decent since it’s one of the Island’s restaurants and on the water. It’s basically typical bar food which I’m guessing people get while swimming or a snack while getting a drink. The fish and chips were overcooked and the fried oysters and chicken tenders tasted like frozen food dropped in a fryer. The turkey burger was very dry and didnt have much flavor. Half the sweet potato waffle fries were not even fully cooked. Very disappointing for our first night on the island.

The reason to eat here is the convenience and the view. Staying on Seabrook Island, hanging out by the pool or the beach, this is the easy place to drop in for lunch or dinner. The food was actually pretty good. My family had an assortment of items over the course of my week’s stay here. Fish and Chips, Shrimp basket, peel and eat shrimp, chicken nachos, chicken wrap, a salad. All were very good. The prices aren’t ridiculous, considering the location and that there isn’t any other place to eat without leaving the Seabrook resort area.

Reuben was burnt, hamburger was overlooked & bun was hard. Loved the fish & chips!

Beautiful day next to a tide rolling in. Good selection of sandwiches and other items along with specials. Nothing spectacular but the location cannot be beat. The staff is excellent and very friendly. We usually have at least one meal a day there during our frequent visits to Seabrook.

Just ok… Items are hit or miss and sky high prices. Kids meals are nice sized. I ordered a salad and the waitress kindly told me the small and large salads were pretty much the same size. The first time we ate there I had fish tacos which were pretty good. We had a crab dip that was really nice and crab filled. My husband had peel n eat shrimp and they were slimy. He sent them back which he never does. The convenience is great, but expect to pay about 2 times what everything is worth.
