As an ex-employee I can tell you that this business is 5 stars. Even though they made me work so many Saturdays. In the tree nursery, no, most plants are not«marked.» You won’t find a rigid Home Depot atmosphere. It is a mom & pop local business where receipts are still written by hand. They carry plants, fountains, and garden art you won’t find anywhere else. Everyone who worked here wanted to be there. They wanted to help the good people of this community make their homes a more beautiful place. If a customer is unhappy, we would do everything in our power to make things right. The major, and most impressive, portion of this business is LANDSCAPING. They are the première firm in the area. Want a pool surrounding a fire pit? Check. Chef’s outdoor kitchen under a pergola? Check. Parterre garden that’s straight out of Italy? Check. Their creations will make your jaw drop. So expect to be the envy of all of your neighbors, but also expect a waiting list!

The name should read«Bay Area Bate and Switch». Absolutely terrible business practices. Unmarked trees as far as prices allowed for employees to complete a transaction paid in full, only to receive a call the day before delivery/installation to be told that the tree was undersold and either need to pay higher price or refund. When held to the contract, after taking a vacation day for the installation and being assured that the tree would be planted that day, at the end of the day the owner Larry called to berate me personally accuse me of wrong doing and advise that they would not be there but would at some point in the following week however he could not say when. They are total scam. The salesman who sold the tree told me that he made a mistake. The lady who called admitted that the salesman made a mistake. The salesman told me that he told the owner it was completely his fault. I did nothing wrong except to expect them to carry out the contract as I had done my part by paying in full in advance and agreed to a no warranty contract on the tree. After the non delivery and the accusatory call from the owner it became clear that if they actually ever did install the tree there was a high likelihood that the owner would sabotage the tree causing it to die. i was paying $ 500 which I cannot not afford to risk after witnessing his behavior. i highly recommend that buyer beware at this place. The employees are either incompetent, untrained or have no authority to make/complete transactions and are subject to sabotage by the owner if he is unhappy with their actions and in his mind it is the customer who must pay. I assume he is used to over charging causing him to freak out, act extremely unprofessional and rude. If you do business with them… good luck.
