I would have given this hotel 4 stars for the cost, location to attractions, and the great staff. But was unable to because of a gross stain on the ceiling in the room, and stains on carpet. Upon arrival I inspected the room quickly and it seemed to be extremely clean until I did a second inspection. Besides those two issues I have no complaints on my stay. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Also the free breakfast included with the stay was better than the normal continental. Many options from sausage, ham, boiled eggs, eggs with cheese, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, bagels and more. Overall it was an ok stay.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel several times now the past couple of years and overall are satisfied with the hotel. Rooms are clean, we were able to check in early, it’s next to many shops and restaurants and the continental breakfast is pretty good. I would recommend this hotel, especially for families.

This hotel’s location is right in the middle of everything which makes life easy while on the road. I came in for business and was pleasantly surprised when I walked into my suite. There is more than enough room for an extended stay. A desk, king size bed, living room, small kitchen area with sink, counter, fridge and microwave. A nice size bathroom. The entire staff has been very accommodating and nice. The indoor pool is nice for nightly swims and they gym works well for cardio. Breakfast in the morning has been sufficient with this neat all-in-one pancake making machine. I will be returning and staying here again and then again no doubt.

So no Television reception, wifi doesn’t work very well. Clean rooms though so if you are only here to sleep then it’s fine. Can’t really do any work or watch TV.

Stayed 1 night and very satisfied. Very good base hotel for visiting Hampton and Salisbury beaches. Portsmouth, NH and the Kittery Outlets in Maine are a short drive away and well worth the trip. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee, Danish cereal oatmeal toast.fruit. and the simply, amazing pancake machine… Spacious room with quick check-in. There are restaurants and a T J Maxx nearby. Easy access on/off the highway. Appears to be a pretty new property. Pool and exercise room. Will definitely return.

After our stay here on March 22, 2014, I contacted their guest relations people via email and told them of our experience with this hotel. Loud young kids running up and down the second floor halls around 5pm in the afternoon(probably no parents watching them) and the dried blood on the base of the toilet. Just nasty to see. The IHG Rewards Club said they would issue me a refund of half of what we paid for the room($ 60.00). This was back on March 25th, it is now May 8th… we’ve not seen it. They also said give it 1 – 14 days, which is well over that by now. I finally called them today because they are ignoring my emails now. Come to find out the douchebag who put in the request for the check to be sent to me put in the wrong zip code. Had all the right numbers in but transposed them. Jesus your customer service to a customer service problems sucks even more!!! Idiots!

Three? Four? I dunno. This is one of those reviews where granularity would help. I mean, nothing really wowed me, but there are a fair few nice touches. Free wi-fi, for one. The rooms were clean and in good repair. The bed was comfortable… to me at least. The mattress was really firm, which my wife hates and I love. I slept like a brick. Breakfasts have a bit more than the usual continental fare, such as eggs, biscuits and gravy, and nice hot cinnamon rolls. Downsides? The views from the upper floor windows are kinda yech. I think it’s across from sort of construction company lot. Also, we had to chant mystical words of power while twisting the shower handle to get the shower to work. It eventually did.

In searching for a hotel near Hampton Beach, this Holiday Inn express was the perfect choice. Although it’s not right next to the Hampton Beach area; it’s only about 10 min away without traffic. The hotel is located off a main road with everything you would need. Market Basket two streets down, dollar tree next door, gas station 2 min away, sea food restaurants further down the street and if you’re in the mood for some late night munching, there’s a pizza hut and 99 restaurant. Very clean and maintained lobby and rooms. The continental breakfast area was always stocked and tidy. They offer cereals, yogurts, pastries, breads, bagels, egg, sausage, biscuits and fruits. Coffee Tea and juices are also offered. We were very satisfied and didn’t need to worry about buying breakfast. The rooms were spacious, clean, AC worked great. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with soaps and shampoos. My only complaint was that beds were hard. Not very soft. You’re given four very small pillows but they were enough for us. We were satisfied with our stay and we will most likely stay here again!
