The food is excellent. I had the Laredo dinner and my gf had the El Pastor pork tacos. Both were good. Chips served with 3 different salsas while you wait. I found myself not being able to choose which of the 3 I liked the best. The waitress is very nice, and I look forward to going back.

I’m not sure I’ve ever been more certain of a five star rating! This place was DELICIOUS! It’s quite certainly now my favorite Mexican restaurant(which kills me to say since we actually live about 22 hours away!) yum! We split their little big plate appetizer that was delicious and had a great variety, and we split the Tex mex lunch special. We were blown away by the flavor and the chili con queso was amazing! Also, the blue margarita was great too! We still have about half our food left to savor later, and the waitress was nice enough to bring us a big side of the green salsa we loved so much. Which reminds me, oh my, the chips and salsa were phenomenal! They give you three different salsas which are all really great! The waitress was super friendly and nice as well, and made the meal even better. Overall an awesome experience.

I moved to the area in August 2015 and one of my first goals was to find a neighborhood Tex-Mex joint with good food and friendly service. This is my place. Laredo’s reminds me of Cheers in a way, because everyone knows your name. The place is clean and comfortable and pretty much no nonsense. It’s fairly bright, but dark enough with sufficient Mexican kitsch adorning the walls to remind you of those truck stop enchiladas that your family ate on Sundays way back in the day. The food here is pretty much no frills as well. If you’re in the mood for a gooey warm cheese enchilada with the standard sides, Laredo’s won’t disappoint. They bring three salsas with the complimentary chips. They’re good, although I wish the red had more bite and cilantro.

Laredo’s make the best cheese enchiladas. Their chili gravy is absolutely the best. I will eat at other Mexican restaurants, but never order enchiladas there. I’ve been eating here my entire life, and even worked there when I was a teenager. This is a family owned business and that is the kind of atmosphere the owner has cultivated. Because Seabrook is a small town, that is something I really like. I see someone I know dining there just about every time I’m there. Which is often. I ate there twice this week. The only two complaints I have are these: the new owners changed the salsa, which is a shame because the original was spicier and more favorable and had more texture, and lastly… they close at 8. That’s a bummer.

We really enjoy our cozy tex mex restaurants we visit every so often. Laredos was very very good! Now each restaurant has something or many things that define it. We found the 3 different salsas they give out complimentary to be very flavorful with the green being the spiciest, which is good. I usually indulge in a fajitas platter but not this time, I chose their combo platter that came with a bean chalupa, beef taco, two cheese enchiladas guacamole with beans and rice and a chalupa shell with queso. I was totally satisfied almost finished it! You can probably feed 2 with that portion size. My wife got spicy chicken enchiladas and yes they were quite spicy. The one thing that stopped me from giving a 5 was the lack of drink specials but that doesn’t define my visits when we go out to eat. One last thing I’d like to comment on was the table tent advertising their deluxe appetizer platter for $ 10.99 and it looked epic! It consisted of 4 beef and chicken nachos 4 chicken flautas with all the fixins! I highly recommend this place if you are in the Kemah Seabrook area.

The food was delivered quickly and was very tasty. The kids meal were huge, but throughly enjoyed. The salsa was not very spicy, but tasted really fresh. The wait staff was very personable and quick to accommodate any request. We will have to return next time we are in town.

This was one of the first Mexican restaurants in the Clear Lake Area. We began eating here over forty years ago. We hadn’t been in several years because there are many closer choices so we tend to forget about Laredo’s. But, it’s still good. I like the EI Tesoro and she got a Tex-Mex plate. They were both good — we’ll probably go again. ___ We’ve Eaten Out Every Meal for 25 years

Laredo’s is so underrated! The tex-mex brown gravy with the perfectly melty cheese enchiladas are my favorite in all of the Houston area. I used to work in Seabrook and now that I’m strictly ITL I miss Laredo’s so much! Their queso is the bomb, too, and the prices are cheap!

My family and I ate here once recently. The food was decent but not great and the prices were reasonable. I think it’s a family owned place, so I don’t mind supporting local businesses. Well probably go back but not immediately.

Love this place! We don’t make it there often, but when we do we always feel welcomed. Ask for Marisol, she always remembers our order(family of 4). Food is great, atmosphere is friendly.

Local Tex-Mex favorite. The salsa is fresh and the food is great! Their fajita enchiladas and their shrimp dishes will have you wanting mas Laredos.

Strawberry margarita was the highlight of the meal. Queso with taco meat… we asked for some pick, and that made it good. Otherwise, it lacked any flavor. Salsa wasn’t worth writing about. I got a combination plate: beef taco was good, not greasy at all. Low on the flavor scale. The tamale was too much cornmeal, although the shredded beef inside was tasty. The beef fajita al carbon was ok… not exciting. Rice was a good texture, but lacked flavor. I can never seem to find a rice I like. He got the beef fajitas. The beef wasn’t as tender as the waitress hyped them up to be. They were just run of the mill fajitas. Probably not going back.

One of our family favorites, especially since the new owner took over a couple years ago. The food is always great. Consistent, clean, friendly, and inexpensive. The best Chimichanga in town, and stuffed potatoes on thurs&fri.

I was recently in Clear Lake when I asked where I should go for old school Tex-Mex food. I was told to go to Laredo’s in Seabrook. I was told it’s been in the area forever! The place was great, the food was great, the margaritas were really great, and the prices were definitely old school! I couldn’t believe the quality of food for the price. You may not get all the see and be seen crowd, but you will get great food and great service!

This place is a family favorite and been around for 40 years! Its definitely a hole in the wall but the food is about as good as it gets and the service is top notch! Enchiladas are probably the best I have ever had. Unfortunately they are no longer open for dinner… but i hope they bring dinner back! This place is so good I’ve swung in for breakfast, taken the boat out and come back for dinner. Laura, the owner is there every day and the personal touch is just really nice. If you like hole’s in the wall, this is your place. No frills… just the BEST Mexican food in town. Which is probably why they have managed to be around for 40 years.
