O’brien’s General Store

I stop at this store twice a week for
gas and pizza and other supplies.
However, I went to this store yesterday
and I highly doubt I will be back…
I always go to the store with my toddler.
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful
with me trying to manage my toddler and
supplies in the store.
Yesterday, a very angry woman named
Nancy was behind the count where I was
in line. Nancy’s drunk friend was in front of me
buying beer. As the drunk friend left the
line to find Tums, I asked Nancy if I could
go before her. Nancy insisted that I wait
in line. (Meanwhile my toddler was running
away around the corner but still in the store.)
So, desperate, I jumped to the other line.
And the, Nancy screams in the middle of
the store. «Whoever has that child needs to
go to get him.» After making it impossible for
me to get my child, this witch attempted to
publicly shame me for not having him. I told
her it was her fault I was unable to leave
with my child. She did not respond.
Beyond this deplorable treatment, I paid for
my pizza and left. On the way home, I found
a chicken bone in my BBQ Chicken pizza.
Never again will I spend money in the store again.

Awful service. The credit card readers at the pumps do not work properly and the cashiers are either less than useless or downright insulting. I have had problems here several times in the past and cannot believe that the same problems persist.
Disgusted.

Great little store. The staff is always friendly and there is rarely a wait to get rung up despite the fact they can get really busy, really fast. I come here all the time for lunch. They have fresh lobster and crab sandwiches at very reasonable prices. They also have a full array of fresh made salads and some of the best convince store pizza I have ever had. In the morning they have breakfast pizza! Yep, instead of sauce and cheese it’s eggs, cheese, and bacon or sausage. A great kickoff for a long day. They also have dogs, burgers, fried fish and chicken sandwiches but I say go pizza and salad or lobster/​crab.
