Seabrook Greyhound Park

This is by far my favorite room in new Hampshire to play poker… daily tournaments, blackjack, let it ride, three card poker and roulette. The rake for the cash tables is the lowest in the state at only 4 $ and the bad beat jack pot between this room and the one at Rockingham park in Salem NH gives an added bonus.
The staff is friendly and fun. The food is good especially the pizza and prices are reasonable. Waitstaff is prompt and very nice and there is usually a massage therapist during busy times for a good price 1 $ a minute. This is a great place to go when you don’t feel like driving to Connecticut to gamble and the limits are much lower so it is more affordable.
There is also dog and horse betting although it isn’t live anymore. Fun all the same. This room is definitely worth a look for everyone that likes to play poker or table games.

Ok, I went back for another poker tournament and, this time, I got another feel for the place. The people who work here, like the pit bosses and the guys that run the poker room, plus all the dealers and waitresses are super friendly. They’re very sharp and down-​to-​earth.
After my tournament, I went a played some pit games. It wasn’t all stuffy like at Foxwoods. Make no mistake, this is NO Foxwoods… not even REMOTELY close but that could be a reason to like it. Certain things at Foxwoods that would send the pit bosses scurrying over to yell at the dealer and write people up for violations, and everything, were absolutely no big deal here. I was a little bit shocked, at first, at how fun and friendly the players were and how the dealers joked with everyone and were just laid back about everything.
I also learned, this time, that they have chair massage available at $ 1/​min so you can get a nice massage no matter what you’re doing. I really had a good this time around.
It reminded me a little bit of the show «Happy Days» except the place wasn’t 1950’s style and it was a bit dingier. ;)
