The worst service Ever. Avoid this place at all costs unless you just want to watch a game at the bar and drink a beer. The food is mediocre at best. There are a lot of options in seal and long beach. This shouldn’t be one of them. If there was a way to give zero stars, they’d deserve that rating.

Well… I’m a long time customer and and it’s so sad to see the place so empty… our service was poor today… But…I’m sure I will still remain a loyal customer no matter what!!!

Happy hour is weak. Check in offer is even worst! Free appetizer consists of veggies or fries only, and only if you purchase two dinners! The bartender, however, was very nice and timely and hooked up good beers and cocktails for happy hour when we stopped in. The menu needs a good shaping up… I will stop in again, may be update this post, I drive by four times a week at least.

Came for the allegedly world famous burger. I went on a «Burger Bash Thursday» for the special. The discounted burger is now up to $ 4.99 for a cheeseburger, according to the sign outside. It’s a lie though because you are also required to purchase a drink now, bringing your total to $ 8.36 for a mediocre cheeseburger and a drink you didn’t even want.

for the food and for the service. Had the omelet with cheese, mushrooms, and sausage with eggs soft. The chef did a great job. But it took 15 minutes to get the food. And they forgot to complete the meal with the toast, no biggie but just added to the poor experience. Was greeted immediately upon entering but did not see the waitress for 12 minutes. When ordering, she asked me to repeat the 3 ingredients for omelet, not once, not twice, not three, but FIVETIMES. She said she was distracted. Ok so let’s see how the rest goes. She never came back to the table once after taking our order, having the busboy bring us the food. She only returned 10 minutes AFTER we had finished eating. My friend and I concluded this waitress was very friendly but a bit ditzy. Would I return? Only if it was the last choice and I was starving. The McD’s next door gives better service.

Ok… I come here often and finally have a reason to leave a good review. After my experiences and reading some other reviews, it seems that service is the one improvement needed. Our server, HEATHER(brunette with blueish highlights) took care of us perfectly, she was tentative and although very busy(also handling a party of 40) made time to engage in conversation with us. Food is killer, bar is great, good place to start a Friday night.

Excellent service and Delish food!!! Heather(our server/bartender) makes an AWESOME Bloody Mary!!! Appetizer – Onion rings-perfectly cooked and sprinkled with parsley & Parmesan cheese-YUM! Glenn-½ bacon cheeseburger(he only ate half) I had Hot Italian Sub with pepperoncinios on a perfectly crusted roll and ratio of sliced meats to melted cheese was PERFECT! Looking forward to next visit

I came in for my lunch with a few co workers and it was pretty empty. The restaurant itself seemed nice and like a cool place to grab a beer with some friends. I wasn’t hungry so I only nibbled on some appetizers, which were ok. My co worker ordered a roast beef sandwich. As he was eating it, he noticed the meat had green spots on it. We thought maybe its from avocado or something in the kitchen. But as we looked closer, the spots were everywhere on the meat! Totally gross. We told the waitress and she didn’t seem to care. She said it was fresh and didn’t bother taking it away or offering something else lol. It ruined our appetite and we stopped eating, paid, and rolled out of there pronto

Great atmosphere, great food, and live music on Saturday nights! Their bacon avocado burger was amazing! I would highly recommend it! Bartenders are great and their Bloody Mary’s are a definite must try. I will be back!

Came in to get a bite to eat. Sat at bar for 20 minutes until server stopped by and asked if she could help me — mind you she, the other server and the bar back had passed me multiple times before I was greeted. Asked for a beer and a menu, as she was pouring the beer in front of me I notice it had no head and sure enough the beer was flat. Another 15 minutes I was asked for my order. It then took 30 minutes to get my cheeseburger mind you there were maybe 3 – 4 tables in between but this place was not busy. I get my$ 14 burger that come with a small bag of chips not French fries(again a server can up sell fries because for $ 14 I was expecting fries). Burger was over salted and had two slices of avocado on it which covered about ¼ of the burger. I told my server the beer was flat and she explained to me the keg had been change and was in this special Co2 system and said it shouldn’t be flat. She did taste it and take my beer off the bill because she admitted it was flat. Took 1.5 hours to get a beer and burger. Sat with my cash out in the bar so I could leave and it took Another 20 minutes for check.

Came here and saw a friend’s band play on a Saturday night. The restaurant/bar was actually nicer than expected(had never been here before and assumed it was a dive). Fairly large place overall, probably 150 people inside and still some room left in the back. The bar is pretty big and they have 4 or 5 bartenders working. Drink prices were actually very reasonable considering the near beach location and it being a busy Saturday night. Not sure if they have bands here regularly but the setup was pretty good and the sound was excellent. It’s not a stage, they basically just play in the back on the floor facing the bar area. It worked. Small smoking patio outside. Plenty of parking, lot was full, but we parked right out front on PCH for free without any issues. Didn’t try any of the food, but it looked like standard bar fare. Lots of people were eating. It’s a cool place overall and I hope I have the chance to come back in the future.

1st time I had to venture to find a bar with TWC to see the Giants-Dodgers game. The 15 minute drive was worth it. Went on a Thurs. afternoon during lunch hour and then again on a Friday nite. The atmosphere, workers and patrons all seemed very nice, although a quick, simple greeting when u sit at the bar would be nice. A quick, «hello» goes a very, long way with me. Beer was only about $ 7 for a CoorsLite cold schooner. I ordered a cheeseburger combo and got chips instead of fries. Probably my fault for not reading the menu. Still. A bit pricy to spend $ 11 for a cheeseburger, chips and a pickle. The burger was good and well-seasoned. All in all a good visit. staff seemed light and very busy at times. even a bit stressed from the head honcho dishing out duties, but if you have a bit of patience they’ll help you.

This will be a short review because they do not warrant much more of my energy. Synopsis: This place blatantly cuts corners in every way imaginable. Bad on every possible level. Arrived with no host to greet us. After wandering through the place a waiter told us to sit anywhere. After 15 minutes of sitting there the waiter delivers menus. Fifteen minutes later he is back to take our order, then disappears. I’m running late to an event, so 25 minutes after that I walk up and find him sitting behind the counter chatting with another staff member. I ask him when our food will be ready. He turns towards the kitchen and there it is — Sitting on the counter. Five minutes later the food is delivered to our table. The fish & chips was literally the worst I had ever eaten — Obviously frozen — by the taste and texture probably frozen and thawed several times. Fries would actually have been pretty good had they not been luke-warm. My daughter’s spaghetti was awful — the sauce tasted like the cheapest possible variety right out of a can. So really poor service & horrible food. Avoid at all costs.

Place is disorganized. Seems like it’s a family run place, but many of the workers seem like they would rather be elsewhere. After ordering a beer at the bar, the bar tender just stood chatting at other end. After awhile the hostess/manager came by a and I ordered a burger. No one followed up. Took quite awhile. Don’t think I’ll return.

I have driven past this place many times over the last several years and never stopped because parking was full and made the place look busy. Tonight we had time so we decided to take the chance. The restaurant was dead with just one family. We were welcomed and told to find our own seats the server was nice and our food came out fast. But she was the only person serving the two tables. There was an old guy that stopped by and asked if we were ok but he didn’t introduce himself so no idea who he was. The food very delicious. I love the steak fries. So why am I giving them 3 stars? Because they serve an amazing burger with a bag of lays potato chips and if you want fries they charge you for them. Plus sodas only get one free refill. There were other things on the menu that had strange extra pricing as well that we did not order. The place is really nice but it was like they were cheaping out on the weirdest things so they can charge an extra buck. We would have stuck around for desert but it wasn’t offered she just put the check on the table and said thank you and quickly walked away. She never came back so we left the money and tip on the table. Will we go back? Probably not. I really hate paying for refills when I spend a bunch of money on the food. Plus the potato chip thing was really weird.

Ok — the food is pretty darn good and it’s great having a place to watch football with a nice atmosphere and sound. But don’t go here if you want any level of customer service. They do their jobs — bring the menus and the drinks, take the order and deliver the food. But the overall vibe is «we could care less if you are here or not.» The worst part was watching one of the servers behind the bar(girl with jet back hair and blunt cut) treat a customer so rudely with a snarky capital B attitude that if I was owner I would have fired her on the spot. She has to be related to someone who owns the place because there is no way anyone could get away with that nonsense. I’m not sure I will go back.

Really… I have to agree with most Unilocalers regarding the service and scam with the fries. This place is a waste of valuable real estate space in Seal Beach! It is standard to have fries with a hamburger, grilled sandwich, etc, not a cheap bag of Lays chips. Some of the Unilocalers(ones with only 1 or 2 reviews… we all know what that means) are missing the point; it’s no big deal to be charged a few bucks for a side of fries. The issue is how the unpleasant servers fail to inform the customer that the fries are a side order. Instead, they ask the customer«do you want fries with that»… making it sound like it is included with the order as an option… same way places offer potato salad or fruit as a substitute. The whole thing is tacky! Really, how tacky could you be throwing a ghetto bag of Lays chips to the side of a hamburger. If you’re going keep doing that crap at least give it some class and place fresh chips in the basket with sandwich. Damn! As others have stated, include fries with the burgers/sandwiches(the way normal restaurants do) and mark-up the price to cover the costs. You would profit more anyway. Placing a small portion of fries in the basket with the burger/sandwich and charging $ 12.00 instead of $ 9.00 would be more profitable for the restaurant and more appealing to the customer. But, a cheap bag of Lays chips is a red flag to most people. A basket of fries for one person is ridiculous; too much for one person. Using half the amount of fries of the side order basket and adding them to the plate with the burger/sandwich, you come out ahead. It’s enough and fills the plate/basket, presenting it as a complete meal. And, most of all, you could increase the price of the meal by the $ 2.50 — $ 3.00 you would normally charge for a full basket of fries, yet using half the amount of fries when adding them to the burger and making it a meal. Again, paying extra for fries is not a financial issue for most of us. It’s just stupid! Glory Days web site is misleading considering their menu displays a photo of a hamburger with fries on the same plate, not as a side order. To the typical American, that would be standard. The chips/fries ordeal is a minimal issue in relation to the real problems at this place. The service sucks. So many reviews state the same exact service issues dating to the opening of the restaurant. As many prior Unilocalers have stated, the servers are rude and out to lunch themselves! A friend who posted a review a while back received a ghetto message from an employee within days of posting her Unilocal review. She was smart and saved a print page copy of the vulgar message the employee sent her. Seems to be standard protocol with this place. Considering their behavior, there’s no way in hell I will allow them to touch my food. Never returning.
