Hush Salon

I was looking for someone new in the area to cut my hair. I Unilocaled salons in my area and hush salon came up. I was referred a stylist named Monica. She was very professional, good conversation and did exactly what was asked. If your looking for a stylist Monica is the one to ask for. Not to mention the salon serves wine, beer, coffee, tea and snacks to help you unwind, relax and have a great experience.

I’m so happy I found Brittanie! She’s been cutting & coloring my hair for over a year now. I have long thick hair & she does a beautiful job with color. Lately I’ve been going with an ombré type color & we change it up a little each visit. She is sweet & makes you feel very comfortable! The staff here are very welcoming :)

Every time I go I leave so extremely happy with exactly what I wanted!!! Just went on Saturday and decided to go ahead and chop all my hair off, which she knows I’m so attached to, and it came out great. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks so much jess!

I came to Hush because one of my friends referred me to this salon. Jaime was my stylist and gave me exactly what I wanted. I showed her a picture and she nailed it. She made the entire experience so enjoyable. Hair can take some time, and she kept me entertained the whole time, talking to me and really trying to get to know me! If you come to this salon and want a killer cut and color, ask for Jaime! She won’t disappoint!

I love this salon, but my go to stylist is Monica. She always has a solution for my nappy, unstyleable hair. She can run her fingers through your hair and know exactly what to give you. Great service, great prices, cool people — go here, enough said.

We love Brittney! I took my stepdaughter in for a haircut today and we had the pleasure of having Brittney cut and style my little babes hair. She is young + fun while being knowledgable and VERY patient with my soon to be four year old. Brittney took her time with us and made sure that my stepdaughter was comfortable throughout the appointment. At the end Brittney asked my little one if she wanted a braid or curls, which I thought was so sweet of her! Kids cut is $ 25 for a shampoo, haircut, blow dry + style — such an awesome price! I also have to mention how sweet all of the staff is there, everyone is so friendly as soon as you walk in. All in all, a great place! I highly recommend Brittney and Hush Salon to everyone!

Jaime is a nice girl who did some good color and cuts on me for a few months, but lost my trust after a very, very dark dye job that needed fixing. Lots of people love Jaime so by all means, try her. I decided to try another stylist at the salon, and Jessica is a sweet and professional stylist, she did a nice root touch up and was fun to chat with.
The owner that I encountered following my appointment made me never want to enter the place again. Unprofessional, awkward and accusatory. Not what you want in a relaxing salon appointment. If I were a petty person, I would just give a one star review, based on the fact that she confronted me and asked me to TAKE DOWN my original review that outlined my experience with Jaime. Yup. Who does that??! Rather than asking what can be done to make a client happier and perhaps improve the relationship (and the review in the process) — maybe she didn’t think about that?
It’s a shame, overall the stylists seem good here, but you have an owner who is willing to turn away a client rather than be a grown-​up and run a good business.

Literally Megan is the only person that has ever cut my hair and not made me look goofy. I had resolved to buzz cuts until Megan.

Jaime always does a great job! I leave happy and feeling sassy. Plus she is interesting to talk to, which makes it fun. The salon is clean and well decorated.

I have been going to Jessica Walker for about 7 months now. i went in becuase someone else completely messed up my hair. She was able to correct it and make it 10x better. She has a flexiable schedule and pricing is very reasonable. If you want beautiful hair go see her!! So happy i found a great spot and great hairstylist.

I came here after seeing the Unilocal reviews and fell in love with Jessica. Her schedule is flexible and she knows what she is doing! Everyone comes out looking good. So glad I found this spot, plus, the prices were very well priced for the quality and experience. I keep going back.

Great place but had a bad experience and it totally turned me off
Mad a trim appt and drove out. Was early as usual and waited almost 20 minutes after the appt time. Stylist came out finally. Hurried. Hey we all have bad days.
I could tell she was hurried and asked about my trim which I said was a cut. Mess up at booking had me for a trim. She was rushed and sort of panicking. Long story short i said I didn’t want to be rushed. So I made another appt. but when I drove home I realized I lost almost 3 hours and still had no cut. Wasn’t a big deal. Things happen, right?
When I arrived for my next appt I was called back late again – maybe ten minutes but what really got me was no acknowledgement of the hassle from last week. Not an apology or a we owe you. Just business as usual.
I was annoyed. It’s hard to schedule appts and pay out at min 100 a visit and tip. No one pays attention to you when you come in and I really do hate to wait. That’s cool if the service and style are good. But it’s ok. It’s like any good salon nothing out there and certainly not worth repeat business after the lack of obvious opportunity to be extra polite.
I left knowing I wouldn’t come back. I am serious about my cuts and colors and if I am to drop that dough I want to be appreciated. So it’s a three star for basic good services. But not exceptional.

After being with my last hair lady for over 10 years I was a little nervous to try someone new, but after having a baby I needed a hair refresher. I tried Megan and she was awesome. I love my new hair and have become a regular.
The location is great, the staff is super friendly, try them out and definitely ask for Megan! :)

Hello there, just got back from seeing Jaime Mantranga and man is she amazing with hair! She beyond your expectations and goes above and beyond with her clients. My hair is amazing and healthy because of the way she does my hair, I recommend seeing her she’s amazing at her job! And the environment and stylist are so nice and welcoming, always asking if you would like anything to drink or to read a magazine. Trust me you wont be disappointed you will be amazed!

This is a friendly salon! I am always greeted promptly and offered tea or something to drink. Monica is my stylist and she does a fantastic job with my haircuts and Brazilian blowouts.: D I also buy my products here and found they were less expensive then other places.

This is a wonderful salon. Very inviting & warm. The owners and staff make you feel like family. I have been seeing monica a very long time and she never disappoints. She will rearrange her schedule to accommodate me and she’s very good with color. You’ll love Hush,

I Love getting my hair done by Jamie Matranga! Jaime has been my stylist for 3 years now and I can’t imagine going to somone else. Jamie is extremely talented with all hari types. She knows what will work and what will not. She does EVERYTHING!!! Love Love Love her work!

I have been coming here for the last few years & I absolutely LOVE how my hair always comes out! Cindy Zappala is amazing & really knows her colors! I always get so many compliments on my hair! Cindy is also the salon owner! If u have curly hair, ask for Doreen, who is deva certified! They also are certified for Brazilian blowouts & carry the line! You will not be sorry you came here for your hair!!!
