Stephanie Vallejo is so talented! I was in desperate need of a change, as my hair was so dry and boring. She cut my hair and added caramel highlights, which allowed me to look natural but still add a touch of glam. She was so nice and professional and made me feel great. I will never go to another hair stylist.

Chantall made my hair look beautiful! I was so nervous to try a new salon that was closer to me after moving to OC from LA but she did a fabulous job!!!

Had my hair done by Stephanie V. last weekend and it was a great appointment. She was very personable and knowledgeable. Asked me what I wanted (which I’m never sure of) helped me find a style that I loved! She is the best! Can’t wait to go back for my next appointment. Maybe some color?

I found Chantell on Unilocal and was so happy I did! I wanted a full on makeover. I was so tired of my usual hairstyle I have had for years. She did an amazing job on my highlights. She completely brightened up my look and add some dimension in there with darker blonde pieces as well. It looks so natural and stunning! I also had her put in some extensions for the summer and they turned out amazing. So much in fact I may keep them in all year now. Anita made me feel very welcome as well. I love this mother daughter team! The whole salon has a great open airy cool vibe. Will definitely be back.

I’ve seen many stylists over the years and Chantell is the best! I drive 45 minutes just to have my hair done by her and it’s always amazing. I love the Aveda color and products and my hair feels so healthy afterwards. If you want great color, cut, and style go to Chantell! You won’t be disappointed!

I found Chantell when my current stylist switched salons. I get very nervous about new stylists, as I have had some really bad haircuts in the past. Chantell does a great job every time. She takes time to talk to you and make sure she’s doing exactly what you want before getting started. I have had to reschedule, cancel, and missed appointments a couple times. Chantell is always very accommodating & understanding. So glad to have found her!

Anita was so embarrassed by the ex-stylist’s (Jodie) behavior that she stayed late to accommodate a cut and weave on short notice. Will definitely return.

Alexis does a great job on my hair! She always seems to work her magic with cutting, styling and coloring. She’s always very friendly and courteous — I enjoy coming to the salon. Great service.

I always leave Sanctuary looking and feeling better… Ms. Chantell Bartolini gives my hair the best style and care… Indeed, all the staff are consistently personable, courteous and attentive. The salon is warm and spacious which makes it a nice retreat — just right for tuning up the mind and body!

I love my color stylist at this place. Shantell does an amazing job of coloring my hair. My niece cuts my hair so I can’t comment on cut — just color. She foils and paints on 3 colors of brown/​blonde and I love the results. I just moved to ca a few years ago and have been all over town looking for the right salon. I do believe I’ve found it! The salon is also an Aveda salon which I also love. The Aveda products are expensive, but well worth it in my opinion.

I came in for a men’s cut and I asked for Lexy as she had come recommended to me. The salon is as the name implies calm and inviting. For such a fancy spot, the value is right on. I’m very happy with my cut and have already received a few compliments!

I was referred to this salon with Hair stylist Chantell. I got hair color and blowout. I felt horrible going in. My hair was in bad shape. Chantell was great and I felt like a million bucks walking out of there. I got so many compliments on my hair color and how smooth my hair looked. Salon was nice, clean and friendly staff. I’ll drive from Redondo Beach to Seal Beach anytime to get my hair done by Chantell.

Came in today for a haircut while I was in town from Santa Cruz and staying at the hotel next door. Chantell was great and gave me a great haircut. Easy to make appointment online and super convenient. I would absolutely make this my regular salon if I lived in the area.

Alexis did my hair about one month ago and it still looks great! She did my highlights and trimmed my layers. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and tried to make my hair come out just like the photos I showed her. The salon is nice and professional, and Alexis is a sweetheart, Very talented — I would totally recommend her!

I came in for a blowout initially to «feel out» the place since my go to hair stylist recently relocated. Little did I know that this quaint salon would change my world. Yvonne blew out my curly fro into a gorgeous full-​bodied head of amazingness. She spent lots of time asking me my preferences and went above and beyond!
A month later I came back for a hair cut. Again, Yvonne took plenty of time talking about expectations first before the scissors came out. While I was there, I also inquired about hair coloring since I needed to cover my grays. I had complete anxiety about dying my hair since I’ve only colored my hair once before at a salon and it was a regrettable experience.
Needless to say, I’ve been back to see Yvonne yet again for a dye job. And she worked complete magic! Somehow she color matched my hair perfectly with a beautiful color that has lots of dimension. I never knew covering my grays would be such an awesome experience. Looks like I have a new fav stylist and salon!

I came in for a blow out and meet Anita. They were running a promo so I took advantage. I had low lights added to my hair and had her clean up my bob. She is experienced and professional. She made me feel comfortable and listened to my needs. I was so happy when I left. Her team was great and seemed very educated. They took time to explain what they were doing to their customers hair. They did short hair and super crazy curls when I was there. I was blown away seeing before and after!
I will be back for a Brazilian blowout.

Anita is very professional and does everything with perfection. I’ve never been happier with my hair color! I had a picture of what colors I wanted and Anita was able customize the colors to make it exactly what I wanted. I’ll definitely be back!
