Great service will walk your food over if they’re not busy. All smiles. Food is great! I highly recommend the grilled shrimp or grilled wahoo burrito never ending chips with salsa

I’ve been eating here on and off for about 6 months. Apparently customer requests for how you want your food prepared is totally irrelevant since they can’t seem to get my food done right. And all I’m asking for is to get the steak well done! How hard is that??? All they have to do is just leave it on the grill a little longer! Fair enough Baja Fresh, I can take the hint, I’m outta there!!!

I love the wahoo/mahi grilled fish bowl. You get so much in it, and you can add all you want. Very healthy and tasty. Staff here is really nice and attentive if you ask for anything and it’s easy parking. One of my go-to lunch places. I’ve been going every week for years and they haven’t messed up an order once. It isn’t really«mexican food» but labels are pointless anyway, the food is quality for what you are paying for.

No bueno. Food is mediocre at best, slow and subpar service. If there food was not fresh they would get only one star. There concept is great, but fail on execution. Go to Rubios instead! Right down the street from them.

I love this place, great service, always fast, and they have very high quality meats… not the cheap stuff. I’ll never go to Rubio’s again… they messed up my simple order waaay to many times now. My order here is always right! Fish tacos here are great, carne asada burrito is the best! I don’t mind paying for the higher quality food at all. I usually like to drive thru when I need a quick meal but this place is worth getting out and walking in! Thanks for the great food.

I ordered a shrimp taco, a chicken taco and a bowl of tortilla soup. The soup was disqusting — it was definetely the worst tortilla soup I have ever had. The shrimp taco was OK but next time I would get it without the cabbage. It just didn’t work for me. The chicken taco was good — If I had ordered all chicken — I wouldn’t be eating cereal later on tonight. Sucks!

I paid 9 dollars for a bag of lettuce and a small slice of chicken. LITERALLY two slices. Their response? «I’m sorry I’ll let the cooks know to stay consistent but the amount you got was the correct amount. Next time you should talk to the manager.» …which sucks because I really liked them including most of their staff. No problem resolution skills loses customers.

I typically am a big fan of rubios, but when i order a large side of chicken, i expect a large side of chicken. I ordered a large side of chicken and this is what I got. Thanks for the generosity rubios in Seal Beach! Your loyal but disgruntled fan. BTW, congrats on being my first negative review on Unilocal

This review is for pretty all of the Baja Fresh locations I’ve been to in OC. Is it really that hard to make a decent chicken taco? Apparently so cuz even their more expensive«hand made» tacos taste like they were dipped in rotten vinegar. Tough to get a decent taco from a big franchise like this. If anyone knows of a great chicken tacos in OC, please shout out. Fuji’s in Huntington Beach so far is the only one I know of but they are teriyaki not Mexican. PS — their salads suck too.

Fresh food, smiles all over the staffs faces… The young lady up front is very talkative and attentive. Im glad I found this place, especially after the one on katella closed.

The seal beach location is a cleaner, friendlier and quicker than the long beach location. Even though they did not get my order right this time I will still make the extra effort to visit this location!

It has a lot of seating on the inside. First time coming here so it was a good experience. I got the Burrito Ulitmo with steakunfortunately there is no picture because I was too hungry. I didn’t bother taking a picture. The steak was juicy and not chewy so it was delicious. Service was pretty quick my best friend and I sat down for barely 5 mins and our food was ready.

1st time trying this place. Comparing it to rubios, Rubios gets 5 stars. This place 1 star. The fish tacos at over 3 bucks a piece are lousy. The fish was the size of a small fish stick, the rest was mostly lettuce filler. Rubios fish tacos have 4 times the fish in each taco. The dining room was filthy, even though it was slow on a Saturday afternoon, the tables hadnt been wiped down at all. The servers seemed dazed and confused. Giving wrong orders to people twice while we ate there. One patron brought back a wrong order 10 minutes after leaving with it(it belonged to another customer who was still waiting for his food) The server actually tried to give this returned and opened food to this guy! He flipped out on the server. She deserved it. I will stick to Rubios baja grill from now on. They are so much more professional and much better food also.

Baja Fresh? More like Baja CRAP! The last time I have had lunch(or dinner) at this location was about two or three years ago when this place was actually COOL; now, I’m actually not that surprised that a lot of(or even all) the Baja Fresh locations have been closed down or getting replaced with either more Chipotle’s; Rubio’s; or Chronic Tacos. The food just tasted HORRIBLE! Why did I give this location a measly 1⁄5 stars? I’ll tell you why: 1) When I stepped into the door, I thought that the place seemed like it was a ghost town. Not a lot of people were dining in, and did you know that I had to wait about 10 – 15 minutes for my food to get prepared? The food at the Seacliff location in HB was ready in about 2 – 3 minutes! 2) The food? Not even worth the damn price! I had the seafood tacos, and the fish taco just didn’t do me justice(the garlic lime shrimp taco was okay, though). The filling for my fish taco was NOT fresh(even though they said it was«wild-caught») and they used WAY too much breading to deep-fry the damn thing! CONCLUSION: I got three words for this location/establishment: WILLNOTRETURN!

Stayed at the Ayres Hotel, ate lunch here. I have eaten at a few of these, they skimped on the chicken on my salad. Their portions are small compared to others, they weren’t even busy. Salsa bar was good and ample parking though.

I have not been to a Baja in forever… I recently went in w/a friend. I ordered the chicken salad tostada. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. The service was fast & friendly. Overall decent place

Okay, I love the people who work here, they are BEYOND nice. I’ve never had a bad experience service wise. The food is good too, but I’ve yet to find something I *really* like. I believe I’m a fan of their shrimp, and their Ono/Wahoo fish too. But I haven’t found the proper medium to eat them in yet. I’ve had Wahoo Fish Tacos, and the fish is excellent. It has great flavor and I really liked it. The only downside is generally this fish is expensive, so for the taco, you get less fish than I’d really like. To make up for this, you get a nice amount of cabbage, pico de gallo, and some zesty white sauce dashed in there, too. The overall effect with the fish is good. I’ve also had a shrimp burrito from here. Again, tasted excellent, but I haven’t found the right way to eat it yet. I got a Baja Shrimp Burrito. It was a simple mix of shrimp, guac, and pico de gallo. The pico de gallo doesn’t really mix well with the flavor of the shrimp. I might try either getting it Ultimo style or getting the Diablo Shrimp Burrito next time, as both look like they’d make a better flavor combination. Their beans and rice are good, and their chips they give you are fresh. I wish I’d find something else I’d like on their salsa bar, but so far it’s only been Molcajete for me. Good flavor in that salsa. I’ll eventually branch out on the other food items here, too.

I come to this Baja Fresh quite a bit. I’ve never had any problems with this location. The food has always been great compared to other Baja Fresh locations that I have been to. The service here is good, unless you are the type that is demanding, picky and always tries to find something to complain about. Sometimes it can look like it needs a little cleaning, but that is usually after the lunch rush. If you go before the lunch rush, salsas are usually well stocked and the place is pretty clean.
