John Trammald is one to avoid. A verifiable, simpla math mistake was made in the trust distribution that resulted in a failed attempt to get some of the inappropriately disbursed funds back to the trust. John took zero responsibility and I took an extra 3K loss. Payable on Death accounts worked much better and without the fees and deception.

Found Mr. Trommald’s office by websearch and read a few good reviews, so we went to him for setting up a revocable family trust. Meeting was easy to set and his staff was helpful. There was no mention of an upfront charge for this discovery meeting. In the meeting(45 min), Mr. Trommald took notes w/pen and paper regarding our details and wrote down our personal/secure info(SSN, etc). He also gave us a quickly hand-written note outlining the documents we would need to bring to our next meeting… that’s it. He requested a $ 300.00 deposit, and we agreed to meet in a few weeks’ time to pursue the paperwork. No follow-up from his office and we had to reschedule due to conflicts. Having nothing from him yet, we ultimately decided to pursue another direction for the trust. I called and requested my deposit back, but was refused by the assistant as Mr. Trommald had already begun our paperwork and charged at $ 300.00/hr. OK… so I requested the paperwork he had done and my personal information he had in his original notes — no need for his office to have my info. Took a while, but I did get the notes back(I picked them up), but was told that the documents he had worked so hard on had been destroyed. Convenient for him… I now have no proof of his $ 300 worth of work except a hand full of notes he wrote in our first meeting. I give one star due to a severe lack of professionalism on his part. Caveat emptor to me and all who follow.
