Savor Lounge is the best! I personally know the owners, Nick & Carmine very well. We grew up together as childhood friends. I played with Nick in a band for over 9 years. I also know Nick’s family very well. Over the past decade, Nick has never failed to impress me in everything that he does. He’s friendly, kind, intelligent, positive, and ALWAYS strives to put everyone in a great mood with his humor and hospitality! I’m the owner of Afino Entertainment. I’ve performed private events at Nick’s restaurant twice now, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Not only am I so excited to see my friend doing such a great job at his own business, but I’m also always stunned by the décor, the staff, the delicious food, and the care that goes into every event he hosts. Nick & Carmine & the DeRosa Family: Thank you so much for having me at Savor Lounge. I highly recommend this location to ANYONE looking for a comforting atmosphere, delicious food, great décor, a stylish approach, and any private event celebration you can imagine. Sincerely, Dave Brennan | DJAFINO

The food here was great, I had shrimp scampi in wine sauce w chicken wraps for appetizer. They offer $ 5 sangria in mason jars, which is an epic deal. I hardly finished one. The ambience was nice. It’s right next door to club Karma & Bamboo. The happy hour is also great. $ 4 appetizers & a full wine bar. The staff was nice & friendly & everything was served to perfection. I went Labor Day weekend & had dinner there Saturday night. The DJ was good & the dance floor was packed. Def recommend if you happen to be in Seaside Heights.

Food was good — we wanted a nice dinner for a bachelorette party. We had a group of 11 and made reservations in advance. majority of us ordered the short ribs which was flavorful. Venue was clean, spacious and they offered a nice outdoor bar/dining area with a DJ. Although I will not go back to seaside heights — this place is worth checking out.

Took 10 min to get a table even when the place was empty. if that describes to you how the hostesses are. Waitress took a while to get to our table(when again place was not busy) but made up for it by giving us a list of places to go for us first timers. Food was delicious.(I had white pizza and boyfriend had the fish) Overall: good spot for anyone trying to get an upscale meal in area.

Our waitress Kacey went above and beyond! We were supposed to have another server, but so glad we had her instead! My boyfriend and I got the burrata as an appetizer. Delicious! When it came to ordering, our server was quick. I ordered the NY stripe steak. Cooked perfectly, and came exactly how I ordered. I wasn’t crazy about the potatoes that came with it though, and I love potatoes. My boyfriend had the Spanish salmon and loved it! He said it was absolutely delicious! When it came to dessert, there was a flourless chocolate cake. This sparked my interest since I must be gluten free. When we asked our server, kacey, she quickly responded that it is gluten free. She came back about a few minutes later and told me she read over the ingredients and if I was able to have certain ones. This was above what I expected from my server, since I did not ask for this favor. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because of the host. When we walked in, the two host were on their phones, and with their feet up, almost on the counter. Definitely does not reflect on the type of restaurant this is. Other then that, love! Definitely would go back!

Trying to find a ‘nice’ spot for dinner in Seaside proved to be a bit challenging and then I discovered Savor Lounge. Its a large modern space that has a really nice menu. There is also an outside patio which offers a DJ on Saturday nights. The crowd at Savor is 50+ which for dinner none of us minded, but we decided to pass on the DJ and dancing portion of the evening. Our waiter was great. Super friendly and attentive with just the right amount of personality. The menu is enticing. We all enjoyed the appetizers and our entrees. Saturday nights they offer $ 5 mason jars of sangria which is a great deal. Not the best sangria, but the white is definitely the way to go; as the red was not good. Apps: Sunday Meatballs: Tender and succulent meatballs covered in a garlicky tomato sauce. Very good Burrata: Creamy burrata is always good and hard to mess up Long Hots and Potatoes: The most unique option on the menu; crispy potatoes served along with blistered spicy long hot peppers. Seems odd; but actually delicious. Rice Balls: Were crispy outside and succulent inside and were wonderfully decadent Entrees: Short Ribs: Were flavorful and tender; served with mashed potatoes(which were too dry and chunky) and broccoli. Apricot Pork Chop: Was a huge chop that was juicy and scrumptious. The apricot sauce was just right, just a hint of sweetness that really complemented the pork. It was served with the same sides as the short ribs. This is a great place for a nice dinner and great for groups. Quick Tip: If you eat at Savor you can get stamped and get into Karma(which is right next door) for free.

Long story short, went in at 705. Was empty, took 30 mins for a seat. Another 30 mins for server to come to table. Then about another hour for appetizer to come another hour later still no food until I mentioned I didn’t want the food, the food came out immediately & was cold. Food looked like it was from Apple bees. Don’t go here service sucks and def not worth wasting 100 bucks for you & your spouse. It was that bad I made a Unilocal just to write a review and I wouldn’t even waste my time doing that lol.

All in all a mediocre place to eat. Everything about Savor is average-not that thats bad when in Seaside… Not bad and not good. The chicken caesar was pretty good so I would go back just for that reason.

Great place if you want excellent food and a space worthy of NYC. Enjoyed the beef short rib, penne vodka, parmesan truffle fries, Thai chicken lettuce wrap, and salads. All were excellent. Bread pudding dessert was exceptional as well. Service highly professional and friendly. Live jazz sounded good. This and Hemingways are two great options to have.

Everything is really good her loved the meatballs they can with raggot it was amazing. It’s hard for me to like someone else’s meatballs. the fried calamari was perfectly crispy. The atmosphere is beautiful a great place to go for a date it’s pricey but not crazy your paying for where you are.

A group of us stopped in after the Polar Plunge and the service was really amazing. My need for the bathroom far outweighed my hunger upon arriving & they let me use the facilities before even knowing that we planned to eat there. They also offered free soup and food for those coming from the plunge. I thought that was really awesome, not to mention the soup was delicious. It’s made fresh and you can taste it. We ordered three pies and all were delicious. The«New Jersey» was plain but cheesy and hit the spot. I don’t remember the names of the other pies but they were both flavorful and unique. One had bacon, peas, and onions & this was my favorite. Also, it was«Sangria Saturday», which got you a generous(also potent & tasty) mason jar of red or white for $ 5. The ambiance and décor was very nice. I would def stop by again if I’m in the area.

Beautiful décor and great atmosphere, but the rest falls sort of flat. They advertise sangria in mason jars. It’s a huge jug of it, but it is weak and not a true sangria more like wine and Malibu with cherries. The men enjoyed the craft beer selection which boosted the experience. We had the buratta mozzarella to start and the cheese was great but the roasted peppers were weird and still had all of the seeds in them. The boyfriend had sushi which looked good and he enjoyed. I had a steak that was just okay and the potatoes and bok choy fell flat and were slimy. My friend has the short rib which she raved about. Service was unprofessional and disorganized.

Love the ambiance of Savor– perfect for a date night. I was impressed by the presentation of the food(and drinks– sangria was served in a mason jar). Had the Savor roll and one of the coal fired pizzas to share and it was delicious! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back to try the Nutella pizza.

I gave this place two stars because the two hostesses greet you with an attitude and a nasty look…(A smile goes a long way) Also I do not like to eat my food while looking at the hostess smooching with one of the waiters. I guess it’s a common thing at this restaurant and ok by the management since another waiter and waitress were doing the same as my Mom went to the restroom. All within a 15 min time frame. Cheapens the atmosphere and restaurant since it’s a really nice place. If I wanted to see people kissing, I would’ve ate on the boardwalk. Now for the food it was delicious for the price; we were here for the happy hour apps and drinks. My waitress Chelsea was very friendly and nice… They should have her greeting the customers!

The food at savor was fantastic for the most part, however pasta dishes were kind of bland. The ahi tuna tacos and fried goat cheese app were delicious. The white fish entrée smelt terrible but tasted pretty good, it was the slightest bit fishy. Lamb was phenomenal as well as pizza and burger. The worst part about this place was the service unfortunately. We had a 15 person party, we should have had two servers and they gave us 1. The food took forever to come out and the bus boys were a bit rude. The atmosphere is great though, and the prices were really good.

Was very surprised by the everything from the décor to the value to the taste. The only draw back was it’s located in Seaside Heights. We went for a 4:00 Sunday dinner so the area wasn’t bad at that time(later at night it might be). I would recommend this place. It’s prior name was Luna Derosa so it’s difficult to find if your looking for that name. They even answered the phone by the old name(???). The staff from the waitress(very good waitress named Casey) to the guys at the door were all polite and friendly. Will recommend and will go back.

Diverse menu with a relaxing and lounging type atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining, we have always enjoyed our time at Savor. Fresh sushi, seafood, italian. Perfect for all diners. It is a more adult aymosphere especially after dusk. Hint hint. Tonight I had the flaming heart roll(sooo good) and Seabass special. My husband ordered a classic caesar and NY strip steak. Couldn’t have been more perfect for a l“getaway” Wednesday night over the bridge to Seaside!

Bottom line… Great Food, Great Service, would highly recommend for families and couples alike! Needed a place a bit more refined than the standard Boardwalk fare, for a nice memorable family vacation dinner for 7. Savor Lounge fit the bill perfectly, with a diverse yet easily recognizable menu. Everything from the burgers, to the paella, steak, the stuffed chicken and penne vodka was really good and well presented. Good quality food For the drinks, both Sangrias, white and red were delicious… go for the extra $ 2 and enjoy the mason jar size. Our server Natalie was spot on. One of the owners also stopped by to check up, reflecting on his re-positioning following damage from Sandy. I could see where Savor could get a bit noisy with a full house, but then again it could also add to cool vibe that the décor suggests. Only negative might be that it’s a bit pricey, but still worth it… otherwise, it was a terrific meal! PS — Don’t forget to feed the meters, the meter police are watching! Enjoy!

One of my very good Jersey Shore friends recommended that we try Savor Lounge for dinner and I am glad he did. We actually tried Savor last December and the food and service was fantastic. We went back again on Saturday and everything was just as good, if not better. First off, the service was very good. Very accommodating. Onto the food. The last two times I had their soup for an appetizer and both times, they were outstanding. On Saturday, they had a white bean with sausage in a tomato broth. It really was delicious. My better half tried the calamari and that was great as well. For our mains, we had the braised short rib in a red wine demi-glaze with garlic mashed potato’s and string beans and I had the sushi/sashimi and tuna roll chef’s assortment of fresh fish. The short ribs literally fell off the bone and the sushi was outstanding. It was not only delicious but a work of art. The only mistake was that my wife’s martini had too much vermouth in the cocktail. We told our waiter and they made her a new one, no problem. This is going to be our go to place at the Jersey shore for the foreseeable future.
