Service was very nice, the orders came out fast, and the food was hot. Very laid back place, highly recommend. We had the fish tacos and the rueben. Both were fantastic! Pricing was average, can’t complain.

We had cod fish and chips. The tartar sauce was good. The service was quite horrible. The waitress seemed inconvenienced to wait on us. We had to ask for silverware when our food was served. We had to ask twice for sauces. I had to ask for water and she brought me a canister. There were about 6 large fruit flies in the wall by our table and taking turns buzzing our meals. The only reason this gets three stars is that the food was ok. Upgrade your staff guys.

Cute little place, I like the open kitchen concept it was nice to see the kitchen staff prepping and working on all the little items while I sat well eating my breakfast which I had biscuits & gravy, eggs, bacon and potatoes. Fresh homemade biscuits the gravy was excellent perfect eggs and the potatoes excellent also. The wait staff was friendly & upbeat, very attentive. The cook(Dave) was very friendly and looked like he loves his job.

Awesome! First, we weren’t happy when they asked us to wait outside in cold rain, but it was totally worth it! Food was great. I love their fried oyster. Willapa Bay Oysters are usually not my favorite, but they fried them with good butter in right temperature. They were so tasty!!! My husband loved his cheeseburger. It had good amount of lettuce and thick tomato with big bacon. Everything was good. *Later we realized that it’s better for customers to wait outside. Otherwise, it gets too crowded and not safe for both waiters and customers.

Very very good food! Will defiantly go back. Only down side is we were there in November and there was a wait for breakfast it was very stormy and rainy outside and they asked us to wait outside and 2 other couples left because of it. They may want to lose a table and make a waiting area. It’s at the beach and no one wants to sit outside on a cold iron bench for 15 mins waiting to be seated.

This place was really cute, small little hole in the wall diner type feel. We came here for lunch, brother & I got the special(grilled cheese & tomato soup) wife got the fish taco. It all tasted fresh and homemade! Nice service, the ladies were friendly and even gave good suggestions cause we had never been! We would come back :)

Disappointed with the guacamole, nothing like pictures on Unilocal.I got a little which wasn’t bad because it was not fresh and brown instead of green… wondering how they could they serve that!

Based on Unilocal showing the Firehouse grill as the #1 restaurant in Seaside, we decided to try it. Once again, Unilocal failed. Even for basic breakfast fare, my wife & I left wondering, «WTH are they thinking?» First, their menu is rather small. When you have such a limited menu, your food needs to be *outstanding*. She ordered eggs over-medium, breakfast potatoes, and crisp bacon. The eggs were cooked as ordered & the potatoes were«OK»(certainly nothing spectacular) but the bacon tasted too salty. I ordered eggs over-hard, well done, potatoes, and house-made sausage. While our server was friendly & upbeat, she spent too much time chatting with kitchen staff while we waited for her to take our order & she didn’t take the time to actually pay attention to us. I heard her verbally call our order into the kitchen.(Since they have the outdated«open kitchen concept», we could hear everything anyone said.) I had a feeling I should have reiterated my «well done» — I was right. The yolks were barely cooked. Then, there was their sausage. I’m not sure if they’ve ever actually tasted breakfast sausage but the seasoning was just wrong. I see a lot of reviews with words like«Amazing» & «Awesome». Seriously? The Firehouse Grill needs to stop trying to be trendy & focus on service & quality food. 2 stars is being generous.

Awesome little spot in downtown Seaside. The staff was so friendly. We loved that they dropped off a little basket of toys as soon as we were seated with our toddler. Kept him occupied until the food arrived! Everything was delicious! My husband and I had the turkey sausage scramble(spicy hot with jalapeños!) and the chicken fried steak. Our son loved the French toast with strawberries. Ask for the strawberry butter! So good on the fresh biscuits.

Place was amazing the first time and the second time a year later. Halibut sandwich was cooked to perfection. I thought I wrote a review about this but maybe it was on google. Anyway 5⁄5 for me. Everyone at my table loved their food. 5 people not one had a bad thing to say.

Everyone is right about this place! Food is amazing and service is great and cooks are interactive and fun to watch while they prepare your food! We had the poutine-frenchfries appetizer, which is interesting because it’s their biscuits and gravy with cheese on top, baked in the oven, then topped with crispy onions. My husband had the chicken fried chicken specials on top of a delicate biscuit, topped with gravy and cheese and bacon! Omg! It was to die for! I had the fish taco salad, which was spring mix with tri-colored cabbage mixture, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, feta cheese and the sautéed marinated fish. It was in a crispy tortilla bowl and was one of the best salads I’ve every had! Yum! We will definitely return and highly recommend this to everyone for breakfast or lunch!!!

It was about 9:30 on a Thursday morning, we walked in — were not greeted, so we thought we were supposed to seat ourselves. Upon trying to sit somewhere, we were told there wasn’t a place to sit cause the tables were dirty. If I can say something — it would be they should have a sign that either says«please wait to be seated» or «if a table is clean, please feel free to sit.» This would avoid a lot of confusion, cause in the hour we were there 3 other people did the same thing. I wasn’t able to get the waitresses attention because she seemed to be focused on other things besides checking on our coffee levels. The only good thing we had to eat was the sausage gravy. The biscuits were cold, as if they had been sitting — even a little warming in a microwave for 15 seconds would be better than the cold biscuit. I was able to see a lot of frustration out of the waitress. After a couple came in and stated they would wait for a table to be cleaned, she proceeded to throw the restaurant menus in the basket on the ground, then went to the counter and vented. The food was mediocre at best, not worth the poor service. This will be my first and last time at this establishment.

Good breakfast and great service, but just wish there were morr options on the menu. Most of the breakfast menu seemed to involve some combination of grilled potatoes and a biscuit, which is tough for someone like me who loves hash browns and toast. However, my toad in the hole($ 11) was delicious, with the eggs cooked exactly how I asked inside a soft perfect biscuit. Good bacon, three slices long and thick. The grilled potatoes(and onions) were a little disappointing since they lacked the crispiness I expect in breakfast potatoes. Large portions. Service was excellent, with the server coming by for coffee refills plenty of times, dishes cleared quickly, and almost no wait for the check. A bit confusing at first because there’s a sign in sheet when you first walk in, but luckily we were seated quickly by the server. The condiments were nicely presented on the table(Tabasco, ketchup, pretty jam).

Fantastic! We had the Potato deluxe, Greek omelette with Pear and Ginger muffins. I paired my meal with of the best mimosas I’ve ever had. I have to agree with Meg R that Firehouse isn’t just«good for Seaside», I would put it up against a lot of places in the city. The service was great-quick, friendly and inviting. I feel like there are a lot of hyped up places in Seaside that you shouldn’t drop a dime on but Firehouse is worth every penny.

This is not just«good for Seaside» — this place is ONPOINT. The restaurant is setup diner style, with comfy booths and a laid back vibe. The wait staff was super friendly and kept my coffee and water full at all times. They have a great food menu that appeals to anyone… and breakfast ALLDAY. It has greasy spoon diner fare, but all their stuff is made in house and super tasty. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy and loved it — they make their own biscuits AND sausage #mindblown. I got the fish tacos, which were absolute perfection and the chips that came with them give Juanitas a run for their money. Hope to come back here one day.

Nothing special. Kind of ho-hum, actually. Seating policy odd — they won’t seat anyone in a group until the whole group is present. We were a party of 4, and there were plenty of tables, but without all four there, they insisted on having people wait. Overall, not worth the hype. Not bad — just not incredible, either.

Our new Go to place for breakfast in Seaside! Popular enough that we had to wait outside for a few minutes before getting seated. Old pictures of the Seaside Volunteer Firemen and Fire station line the walls of the small dining area with high ceilings. There is also a counter that seats 6 facing the busy kitchen which is right there! Everyone working was pleasant but hopping as they were slammed to capacity. Our server was pleasant and efficient making sure we had our coffee, tea and water topped off. She looked familiar and when asked, she informed us that she and her husband own the wine and beer shop at the outlet mall in town and also teaches at the middle school. Busy lady! The menu has some unique selections and I had a difficult time deciding between an omelette or the potato deluxe which is a mix of potato, cherry tomatoes, spinach, olives, sausage, cheese and onions topped with 2 eggs, available any style. I ordered my eggs fried over easy and I should have ordered over medium as I like the whites to be solid(they were runny) and only the yolk runny. I mixed the eggs in and the full plate was hot, a taste of different fillings in every bite and very filling! I really enjoyed the various flavors of the quality fresh ingredients and had leftovers to heat up tomorrow to appreciate all over again. Delicious! Next trip I will try the lunch menu!

This place is becoming a must stop every time we are in Seaside. I wish I could rave about the entire menu but I have only had 1 thing & it was so good the first time I had it that I have t been able to order anything else. I will tell you that everything I have seen come out of the kitchen looks amazing. Yes there is awesome food at the beach. I am obsessed with the fish taco salad… Oh my
