Mary(who lived in seaside her whole life) from Safeway recommended we give it a try. We recommend you try it as well. Soft biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. The French toast was delightful with just the right touch of cinnamon. Great service and a fun seaside atmosphere.

We loved this place! The food was fresh and plated so lovingly. I had the special of the day omelette. Ham, pineapple and Swiss cheese. The hash browns were grated red potatoes and the biscuit was freshly baked and served with freezer jam. Coffee was good too. Glad we stopped at this little gem!

I have been here twice. The first time hands down would have been 5 stars. I came in with my husband, we both had biscuits and gravy. The hash browns were the best I’ve ever had & the biscuit and gravy was delicious. The staff was friendly. Food came out quickly, even though it was busy. Now the 2nd time I came with my friend after a long hike up Saddle Mountain. I told her she’s in a treat by coming to this place! It wasn’t that busy, only a couple regulars in the restaurant. We sat right next to the kitchen, in the front. Our waiter was so nice. Our food came out very quickly. We both got biscuits and gravy(since they were so good last time). Big mistake! We were starving from our hike & couldn’t even eat our meal, because it was so hot and spicy!!! We were both baffled how gravy could be so spicy. My friend got a side of ham, she said it was good. I got a side of hash browns(sadly, because I did I’ll never eat here again). They were bland and not so good this time. I asked the waiter for ketchup, he nicely got some for me. However I heard the cook in a very rude tone ask him, «why does she need ketchup?» Then mumbled stuff under her breath. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant before. I’m sorry the has browns weren’t that good that day. You shouldn’t be rude if someone needs something so silly, like ketchup(even if you think customers can’t hear you). After we paid, we went to straight another restaurant to eat.

What a cool little café with some awesome food. Talked with Patty, at length and decided that this is one place I want to make a habbit of. Everything is top quality and extremely accommodating. So glad I made the effort to find this place. The address given by Unilocal,is a dress shop… you have to go around the corner to the END of the huilding… gorgeous view. Highly recommended… I’ll be back a lot!

Found this place on Unilocal and had I not looked at the app I probably would have walked by never knowing it was there. Service The service was pretty good, we were seated right away. The only thing I thought was odd is that when I asked for some ketchup for my hashbrowns he told me normally we don’t keep it on the tables so people taste their food first which felt a little judgy to me. He then returned about a minute later and asked for the ketchup back because they only keep one bottle in tye restaurant. Was just odd to me. Décor The place was kind of a cool mismash of movie posters and any generic grandma’s house you could think of. There were a variety of knickknacks and teapots and all of the tables had tablecloths which was a nice touch. It felt very quiet though, it was kind of like eating in a library. Everyone was speaking in hushed tones including the waiter, coming with a 1 year old and a 9 year old it felt like every noise they made was ten times louder. The location is great though, right on the river just off of Broadway. Food The food was solid, everything was scratch made including the biscuits. Very traditional country style breakfasts. I got a waffle was disappointed it didnt come with eggs or bacon or anything so had to order a second breakfast to split with the family. The food was great though, a nice little breakfast find. Be aware though very limited hours and not ooen on the weekends so plan accordingly!

We came through Seaside headed home to Washington after a week further south on the Oregon Coast. At this point, we were looking for a good breakfast spot that wasn’t going to bruise our pockets as eating out on the coast can. We found Patty’s on Unilocal with the elusive single $ in the price range, and decided to give it a try. It was a good move. Patty’s is tucked just off the promenade in Seaside. Upon entering, you come across a home like setting but with Humphrey Bogart posters everywhere. Its very inviting, and our server was super friendly. The menu consisted of your normal American diner dishes, but the portions upon receipt were big and grubbing. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste it in each bite. This was a really good way to close out our vacation, and cheap too. Check them out.
