Real fresh and flavorful juices. The carrot juice was delicious and so was the RAD Booster.

The Small Business Dev Ctr started a tech startup group and have their monthly meetings here. This is a great place to do an event. They have an assistant on hand to make sure things run smoothly. They have tv screens with internet access. Microphones, a mounted large-screen monitor. Slide shows are easy to see. The menu from Freshly Pressed makes it easy to please a large crowd — beer/wine, Acme coffee and bottled juices whose flavors target different health concerns. The food is less inspired. Sandwiches, pre-made salads and hummus with celery sticks. But the Greek salad is as good as I’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere is different at night. Daytime is stark and industrial. Somehow the evening makes it feel hip, edgy and artsy. I asked about events and there is a charge. But if you want to come for business group meetings in the afternoons they can set aside seats. IMO, they should promote the event space better. Website doesn’t show or list the equipment. Most restaurant lack this so businesses have to rent hotel conference rooms. When you combine the beautiful décor(long redwood tables, local art), presentation tools and affordable drinks and food this has to be one of the best spots for an event.(I’ve looked and looked). I haven’t been to a community event yet but I’ll be watching for ‘em. As far as accessibility, they put a mat at the door that is hard for a wheelchair to get over without help.

This is a freaking gem. Great juice, swagfer, and jive. I spend like 2 months here after moving home back to Marina. Great place where I studied for the boards. The people who work up front can be very demanding bit the environment is so CHILL, free WiFi and good location. I studied here for 2 months for my boards. I want to rent this place out to throw a big party to turn up after passing my boards.

This is sugar water, mixed with some juice pressed some day in the recent past. If you’ve had REAL pressed juice, you will recognize this stuff is not the real thing. It tastes watered down, and very sugary. I don’t believe it’s real juice. To top it off, you can’t just have a glass of juice. You have to buy the glass bottle it comes in for $ 2.50. That’s a rip off. They won’t even pour the juice into the plastic cups they have available — they MAKE you buy the glass bottle. Bottom line: not to be trusted.

SEASIDELOCATION Seaside Owner appears impersonal & blunt. Employees are helpful and welcoming. I thought for the price and the name of this place, the least they could do is prepare the most popular juices fresh on site. It is not hard to keep certain ingredients on hand. This location needs to be a bit more prepared with in-stock prepared juices if they are going to sell out quickly as they did, or cannot pressed juices freshly on site. Went yesterday, they were sold out of my favorite. OWNER never suggested different option. She should recognize me as a new customer who doesn’t know the ‘unspoken’ rule: if you want a particular juice call ahead to have it set aside. Not knowing that a majority of their business is call-ahead customers. Leaving walk-in service options poor. Today they were all sold out early. No apologies. I had to ask the ‘protocol’ to ensure that I could actually come by and get the juice I want, and be a satisfied customer. I visited this newest location – Seaside– ’ almost every day this week. I felt greeted impersonally by the owner – like I was doing her a favor being there(Salinas location can be similar when she’s working up front). Employees are approachable and friendly. I WON’T be returning except to turn in my bottles that cost a hefty $ 2.50 each for a pint. Be ready to put down deposits for glass-bottled juices. The juices are delicious, but the customer service — unreliable.

Okay so I loved the juice«The Allure» that I tried and purchased for the first time today. That being said one thing did bother me and it bums me out because I would like to come back here. In my line of work I wear scrubs… they are not that flattering and I did have my second child 6 months ago and unfortunately I’m not a supermodel who bounced back. So I walked in today and as I was asking about sampling juices the lady who I assume is the owner looked at me and point blank asked«are you pregnant?» WHAT!!! I let her know in a nice manner that no I am not, but I did birth my second 10 pound baby 6 months ago so I still have that leftover baby belly! And this was in front of another customer standing next to me. SERIOUSLY. MORTIFIED. Just no.

So disappointed! This was my first time to The Press Club after driving by a few times and noticing that it seemed like a cool place. I would have only left 1 star but the building itself is nice and different for the area. Otherwise, it’s totally overpriced and my cappuccino was gross(watered down and bad foam). I tried asking the barista where the fruit juices were from(they’re pre-made and so is all the food) he just said they’re from Salinas… ok I’m not originally from here, so that means nothing to me, thanks dude. If you’re looking for coffee don’t waste your time, go to Acme, way way better!

It’s about time we have a juice shop in Monterey! Great selections, friendly staff, & the atmosphere is fresh. I also love that they use glass bottles, beverages just taste better in glass! However, it is a pretty penny… which is why I did not give this 5 stars. Go check them out though, you won’t be disappointed in any of the juice selections!

I’ve been here several times and so far so good. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. If they are not sure about what to recommend then they will research and let you know which one to buy. The prices are reasonable and the juices are excellent and fresh. The only downfall, is the consistency. You can drink the same juice twice and it may not taste the same, which is a bit odd and why I didn’t rate this 5 stars. I would think there was a recipe for each one but apparently not. This would not only help with product consistency but also identify food cost(important as owner). Regardless it’s still yummy and I’ll continue to go.

Excellent juice and coffee. If a bit in the pricey side. Ambiance/interior: The inside is absolutely awesome. Evidently the joint is owned by the local rag, hence the play on words«Perfectly Pressed». The coffee was made in small batches in my second favorite way, French press. The décor is very clean and airy(the have a roll up garage door) with blown up pics of comic strips. Cute… Service: The counter staff was very friendly and pleasant. Even after she found out I was not a local. I appreciated that. She explained their method of making the juices and the reason for using glass bottles which require a hefty $ 2.50 deposit she offered a taste of any of the juices. Nice perk. Taste: The juices were super tasty and good. Very flavorful and clean. They had over eight(8) types of juice blends to offer and all looked delicious. The coffee was about average. Nothing amazing though. Worth about $ 2/cup and not $ 4/cup. Prices: I felt it was a bit steep for my tastes. Essentially 20 dollars for two juices and two coffees. This does not factor in the deposit for the two juice bottles. I paid a total of 24 dollars. Overall would I come back? Not particularly. Due to the cost. This place had only two people in it. A bit concerning if I were the owner. I realize we are in Monterey Bay though and maybe due to the cost of living it’s not a problem.

So far I’m pretty enamored with this place. A large contemporary and creative space with ample seating, natural light and a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The Monterey County Coast Weekly team brings Seaside a modern industrial chic spot, complete with a full juice bar serving up cold-pressed juices, a full-service coffee bar, an inviting performance venue and a modern-designed meeting/business spot. You’ll find some inspiring local art, reclaimed furniture pieces like the white oak juice bar and the oversized redwood table on wheels. Flat screens broadcast the day’s latest newspaper pages from around the world to ensure all your edifying needs are sated as well. The Rad Booster(radicchio, apple, ginger lemon) was rather delicious and refreshing. So far this is my favorite. It was great for a post-workout beverage – very refreshing, thirst-quenching and energy-boosting. The Allure(grapefruit, watercress, turmeric, apple and coconut water) is a nice citrusy sweet blend. Pressed Juicery boasts the best prices around town. Customers can get their own organic juice for $ 6.00-$ 6.50(when you apply the $ 2.00 refundable glass bottle credit). I really want to get around to try all the juices. I just purchased the 3-day cleanse pack($ 120), which comes with 24 bottles of juice. I’m sharing it with my friend so we can sample some of their different juice creations. I personally can’t drink 24 bottles of juice in 3 days but am managing to put away 12. You can also purchase a 1-day cleanse pack, which comes with 8 bottles($ 40). The Press Club is a perfect stop for java and juice junkies. My friend keeps raving about the Yak Butter Coffee made with grass-fed butter and coconut oil. I will try to stop in this week to try it when I return my glass bottles. I would love to see more baked goods, salads and sandwiches… they always seem to be picked over or completely out when I come in.

Overall: very cool and I’ll be back I’ve been here a couple times since they opened, once for Juice and once for the über-hyped bulletproof coffee. This place feels new and different. Juice: * fresh pressed daily at their other location in Salinas * not pressed to order so you can’t customize them * too sweet, in my opinion * $ 2.50 bottle deposit Bulletproof Coffee: * delicious, smooth, rich * not too expensive Service: The first time I came here, the girl at the counter didn’t look up from her phone as she welcome my friend and me(which seriously peeves me). She even started to ask us what we’d like while still stuck to her screen… I almost walked out but decided to give her a chance and I’m glad I did. When she did put her phone down, she was knowledgable about the products and the company and made a few recommendations for us. She redeemed herself. The second time was wonderful. The man at the counter was enthusiastic and friendly to everyone who came through the door. Atmosphere: * good for studying or conversation, I was the only person inside. * bright and airy * fast wifi
