We went there the other day for the new Bacon Mozzarella Burger. The Employee in front was nice, the burgers not so much… They were cold! Way too much Lettuce, no flavor at all. It was disappointing!

I ordered two #1s. Neither burger had tomatoes, I only got 1 straw for the two drinks, they didn’t ask about ketchup and when I was in the parking lot a man leaned into the car, obviously high or something, and asked for three dollars for a burger. Not an enjoyable experience.

Fast food that’s 3-star gets a fast food review: Quality: Average Cleanliness: Average Service: Above average Value: Above average Health factor: Below average(meaning there’s ton of tempting fatty foods here) Recommendation: Go — you get what you order.

Every time I go to Monterey I stop here on the way home. Good food, love the salads, and the service.

My review seems to be missing, its obvious this location has unfair employment, been Coming over 3 years, never have i seen a wendy struggle so much with basics like how to work a debit card reader… Working drive tru, however it looks like management continues to higher older Mexican/hispanic ladies. Broken english, this the only restaurant i see inside that dont have student employes or even a race other than Mexican/hispanic. Im mexican american i dont mind but when your making service suffer and good restaurant chain look bad something has to be done.

I stopped here with the kiddos on the way home from the coast. Service was fast and friendly, food was like every other Wendy’s. It’s an old building but is well maintained and clean. Even the bathrooms were sparkling, which is a rarity for Wendy’s. I was glad we chose this for our dinner stop.

I ate at other Wendy’s locations before, this one stood out because of the smaller portion sizes and the extra charges. I had to pay for the tiny container of BBQ sauce despite the fact that I ordered food for almost $ 20. The fries container was only half full and the chicken on my chicken sandwich was smaller than the bun. I can not recommend this Wendy’s location to anyone.

Went in and ordered a Baconator, drove home and opened the sandwich, had three patties and no bacon. Ok they redeemed themselves, went two more times and the orders where perfect,

Dear Wendy, It’s OVER! You have wronged me many times… –The consistent fry skimp! Happened again tonight. –You took AWAY the double stack. The closest thing is the huge hot and juicy burger. –You don’t do chili cheese fries, and your known for your chili. –No seasoned or curly fries. –Always too much mayonnaise on chicken sandwiches. –Chicken is usually unsatisfying/not tasty. –Experience dry sandwiches at night, when you actually have the craving for Wendy’s. –Frostys dont work through straws. –Frosty shakes are mostly whipped cream. And many more it’s a let down. Every trip we experience some dissapointment, issues vary, like being cheap on the fries, sauce, and napkins! We still would return, for the flavors. But there are just too many cons now… good byeeeee The service was never that good here anyways. Cant tell you how many straws or napkins I had to ask for. They have run out of beef multiple times, like really? I am in the food industry you have to really be running a place poorly to do that many times.

Fast food is fast food. The burgers pretty much taste the same, no matter where I get them. They’re usually salty, the meat is paper thin and I have to remember to ask for less mayo and no pickles or cheese. Heart attack on a plate. These were no exception. But the fries…(my downfall)… «natural» fries with the skin on and sea salt. Stellar! Service was fine, no complaints. We had a window view of the traffic driving by. I told my husband he’s just so off-the-hook romantic to take me here for Date Night. He owes me one…

Wendy’s is a microcosm of what the fast-food industry has become, more specifically on the Monterey Peninsula. You place an order and its almost as if the person you’re talking to is having a mild aneurysm. The people behind the counter are devoid of any ability to simply listen. Here’s my typical experience at Wendy’s: Counter Person: Can I help you? Me: I’ll have a Grilled Chicken Sandwich combo with a Caesar Side Salad instead of fries with a bottled water to drink. Counter Person: What size fries do you want? Me: I didn’t ask for fries, I want a side salad. Counter Person: Oh okay. Do you want Crispy Chicken or Grilled? Me:(Gritting my teeth) I asked for GRILLEDCHICKEN! Counter Person: Okay. That’s(insert random total here). Is it just me or did some people miss the basic fundamentals of listening to someone speak? It’s not all that serious, it’s just more irritating than anything when you have the world’s least productive people all in one establishment. It’s like they’re programmed like robots to arbitrarily ask you questions regardless of what you’ve said to them. As a parent, these experiences have further fortified my belief that an education can do wonders for a child. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Only«Wendys» on the Monterey Peninsula! The salads are very tasty: see photos. The building is older, but neat and clean. Service is prompt and efficient. Rather funny people expect friendly happy attitudes from no tip, minimum wage fast food workers. Really?! The general public these days can be a pretty surely bunch. Lighten up on these workers; they are just trying to earn a very basic living. If you want to leave them a fabulous service gratuity, then you will get many smiles and a thank you. Seriously, what are you thinking… Is it all about you? No breakfast here, lunch and dinner only.

Generally, I like Wendy’s. My wife loves their potatoes and usually they have relatively good, cheap food; but this place service is kind of bad. My son wanted an iced tea for his drink in the kid’s meal. Despite what their website says, they will not give iced tea for the kid’s meal because it apparently costs more than other drinks. I believe this is the only fast food place in the area where they charge extra for iced tea. After paying the extra 2 dollars for iced tea, I got home and what do you know, there is no iced tea. Also, no straws or napkins. They are not very friendly at the window. I now pass on this place, even when my wife craves their baked potato. With my experience there, they would probably«forget“to put it in the bag.

After a late lunch in the Bay Area, I was starving by the time my friend and I got back on the Monterey Peninsula. Not really feeling like picking up a full meal, we stopped by Wendy’s for a quick bite – yes, I’ll come clean, Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets and chocolate frosty are a guilty pleasure of mine. Rather than going inside, we opted for the drive-thru. The food was great, just as I’d remembered it, but I can’t say I was such a fan of the service at the drive-thru. The cashier was rather abrupt with us when we were trying to sort out how much cash to give her. Sure, I bet she’s had to deal with lots of rude customers wanting food to grab and go, but that’s no reason to harp on us as we hand over too much cash. I mean come on, my math skills aren’t so hot late at night, cut me a little bit of slack. Will the rude service keep me from going back? Not really, especially since this is now the only Wendy’s on the Monterey Peninsula. I guess the terse service is to be expected at fast food drive-thrus. And it’s a small price to pay for those spicy chicken nuggets.

salads are great. I love them. they fill you up and you get warm grilled or crispy chicken on top. I am here at least once a week. I also like that you can get a sm chill, 5 piece nugget and side salad with value drink for under $ 5. nice and balance meal for fast food. cons, they always forget something that you have ordered or asked for. Straw, burger, dipping sauce. So ALWAYS check your bag before pulling away from the window. Also I HATE the way that they say«anything else» instead of «would that be all» Every item that you order they say«anything else» Just shut up already until i can finish my sentence and say what I want then ask. Jeez

Back in 7th or 8th grade our school had a magazine selling fundraiser. The top sellers got a limo trip to lunch. So where do we go? You guessed it, the Wendy’s in Seaside. Our school was way out on San Benancio Road in Salinas(or is that a part of Corral de Tierra? just kidding, Corral de Tierra — the name of the street before, actually got their neiborhood/town changed from Salinas to Corral de Tierra…). Why did we choose Wendy’s? I’m guessing I didn’t have a say back then. So this morning I’m craving a burger and I’ve been watching a lot of tv recently because I can never sleep before 3am. Stupid Wendy’s commercial had me thinking about hamburgers this morning(even though the patties are square shaped, I know). Well they weren’t opened when I dorve through the drive thru. I was very dissapointed. I know I’m not the only one who craves non-breakfast food items first thing in the morning. I actually dislike breaky. Only breakfast food I eat is a Sausage McMuffin after a rough night.
