We only went here because the breakfast store next door was super crowded. The service was bad. I waited for 20 minutes and finally got my order. Wrong. Luckily the cashier guy remembered my order and he ordered the kitchen to get it right. They didnt have the hash browns during breakfast, so they required us to change the combo’s side. And then they charged extra for«upgrading» the sides. Not cool. Zucchini fries were mushy and a bit bitter. Bad.

I have enjoyed coming here in Seaside for over 4 years and never had a complaint… till now. I have been noticing lately the sausage in the sausage burrito and anything else with sausage has an almost burned, gritty taste to it. It seems they are using old sausage and nothing taste fresh anymore. The sausage used to be real good. I am giving up on Carls Jr in Seaside till they realize we can taste the food and won’t be fooled forever.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant this is the third time that I’ve come to the carls jr in freedom California and they have totally gotten my order wrong even though it was correct on the screen this means that the person who is making the food is not paying attention or can’t read this also means that the person who is the expeditor is not checking the food before it goes in the bag I live 10 minutes away from Carl’s Jr it is a 20 minute round trip to and from when I called back to complain the young lady on the phone stated that there was no Manager on Duty but she was the highest person there in charge did not know how to register my complaint or how to take care of my complaint she was rude short and dismissive with an I don’t care attitude. the city we live in is a small city and restaurants cannot afford to have upset customers spreading the word that the restaurant has horrible service and its not willing to take care of the customers I was told to come back Tuesday when the managers was there my wife had to throw her hamburger away because she cannot eat mayo. If there was anything less than a one star I’d give it to them buyer beware the warning sign is up watch out for Carl’s Jr in freedom California your order just might be wrong. And just like this posting they only deserve the one star that the represent

The worst fast food in Seaside. I have only used this establishment twice and I will NOT be going back for a third time. In fact I feel like an idiot for even trying it the second time as the first time was foul enough to just give up right then & there. I’m pretty lenient on fast food places just because you do get what you pay for, but the return on investment at this place is zero. Even having low expectations is too much for this Carl’s Jr. Aside from the fact that the food comes out looking and tasting like it is a day old, both times I have gone to this place were in an effort to get one of their current promotional sandwiches. Both times they told me they were not available even though today the sandwich I wanted is on a promotional poster that covers half the front window! Just go somewhere else.

Dude I was hungover and was craving that shit. Too bad Carl’s Jr stopped selling those blue cheese /roasted onions hamburgers ’cause those were the BOMB! Now I had the Guac burger and it was alrighty! I’d prefer Carl’s Jr over many other fastfood hamburger chains.

This is the cleanest and friendliest fast food restaurant that I have been to along the whole monterey/santa cruz area. This place is SPOTLESS, their staff is super kind, and they serve great food. I have a Carl’s Jr down the road from my house and won’t eat there since that place is shabby and their burgers are made sloppy in addition to their crappy customer service. It’s like this Seaside location actually takes pride in their work and they do it very very well! :O)

This place is a typical Carl’s Jr. However, since they have the Green Burrito franchise attached, I think the employees are a little less on the ball with the burger portion of the business. I don’t even understand the Green Burrito thing. I mean, you’re Carl’s Jr. You’re the only decent fast food burger place out there and you decide to take in Taco Bell’s «special» cousin! Why???

I got a Low Carb $ 6 burger(only because it is GF) and a side salad with«ranch». Their house dressing aka ranch unfortunately has MSG so I wasn’t able to enjoy… no scratch that… eat my $ 2 bowl of iceberg lettuce and tomato wedge. The $ 6 burger patty was over the top salty too!

Drove around Monterey looking for a place to grab a quick bite on Christmas Day. All we wanted was some grub to take back to our hotel room and everything was closed for the holidays… Luckily this Carl’s Jr. was open! We hit up the drive-thru and took our food back to the hotel to munch on. Yum! I recommend the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich paired with their Zucchini Bites and a Coke. Delish!

Went one time for lunch turkey burger asked for no mayo and got it anyway and when I went back to exchange she blamed me, isn’t that nice? Then a couple of days ago we went to get a small chocolate malt and I asked for the calories and she said 110 wow! Came home went online to check and it said over 700 calories. They were lazy and lied! Also, it would be nice if fast food places would hire clear English speaking people. After years of not going to CJ thought I would give it a try no more infact no more fast food places I will come home and make my own shakes with frozen yogurt. SEEYA!

Delicious chicken walnut salad! OMG, a 5.00 chicken salad that has feta cheese, candied walnuts and cranberries with a low calorie raspberry dressing. They got this one right! I am so becoming a Carl’s Jr fan, though I have never really been attracted to fast food. I tried the chicken tenders too, wonderful flavor! Do remember to enjoy the salsa bar adds. ;)

I’m not a big fan of fast food, but I got to say, this place makes the best breakfast burritos. They are sooo good!

100% average. The food is just what you’d expect from fast food. The service was fine. The ambiance was actually the highlight of the experience. They have several reproductions of historic Carl’s(Jr.) menus and the like on the walls, which made for a nice old-timey feel. They also have a counter with stools in the middle of the place, and a retro diner feel. I was pleasantly surprised to find a native speaker of English manning the counter, a young white guy. Of course, they had non-native speakers on the drive-thru, which is not a good idea, because that only increases the likelihood of miscommunication and messed-up orders. I can’t say I care for their fries, but that’s personal preference – they aren’t awful. The wife enjoyed the teriyaki burger, which I have to admit was good(in the context of fast food, which means expectations and standards are low – kind of like saying«this is good frozen pizza»). I’m not pleased, though, with their foisting off of part of the service they should provide onto the customer. I speak of the nearly-ubiquitous self-serve drink station. Yes, I know that it saves them time, which therefore saves them money, to outsource this to the customer – but shouldn’t a restaurant really be preparing the food for customers, rather than customers doing it themselves? Regardless, unlike the heinous Carl’s Jr on David in PG, I might actually come back here. One note on the drive-thru: be careful coming out. It’s kind of a blind exit, and if you’re not careful you could ram a pedestrian or get whacked by oncoming traffic on Fremont.

Thank you for giving me a salad that isn’t full of a lot of fat. They have great new salads there and I am so loving that. They have a chicken, walnut, cranberry, and feta salad that is so good. I have had it twice this week.

This location is nice! After Phở King the little one wanted something sweet… We went across the street to peep out options… Captain Crunch Shake? Eep. Dunno about that one. Anyways the spot is clean enough and the folks are nice. We ended up with a traditional milkshake and bounced… Nothing too memorable.
