This Dilettante Chocolate location is located across from Starbucks at the airport. I noticed they had a mocha mexicano on the drink list, and I thought I’d give it a try. On a cold blustery day like this, I felt a mocha with a spicy kick would be a good pick-me-up before my flight to even colder and truly blustery weather. I was disappointed that my mocha mexicano didn’t have the spicy kick I was looking for. Traditionally, a Mexican mocha has a hint of cayenne pepper, but this drink missed the spot. Service was good, drink was prepared in a timely manner, and drink prices were Seattle-average, but the product itself didn’t hit the spot.

Airport chocolate? Why not! Actually, this place was on our list of places to try in Seattle, and we just ran out of time, so it was a pleasant surprise to have it as soon as we got through security. They have about 5 different drinking chocolates; we chose their«signature» milk chocolate and ordered a loose leaf peppermint tea. That was a great combination. There was no line when we got there(~4pm on a Saturday) and service was quick and easy. They also sell all the cute gift sets of truffles as well as other sweet treats.

One of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had. I tried the«emphere» dark chocolate, with a pump of salted caramel. It was perfect. The black and white cookie I has was fresh, soft, and had a great flavor. The service was so/so but the drinks and food were great.
