Went with a friend for lunch and had the kahlua pork sliders, their chees plate, and an amazing salad. Sat on the deck on a beautiful day and had not only an exceptional meal, but had over the top service. Our server was incredibly attentive as was the executive chef which came out to see if we were satisfied with our meal. I always appreciate the attention to detail and was very impressed with the chef’s hands on approach. Would come back and bring friends and family

I’ve never been done wrong here with their regular menu items. They’re salads are fantastic! Sometimes I order the KIDS grilled cheese that comes with tomato soup. Yum yum yum. I don’t suggest the cheese board that comes with a sweet tomato jam, jam is definitely strangely too sweet. But again, can’t go wrong with regular menu items.

Nice café with a good menu selection and food. My favorite is the chicken lime cilantro salad; it’s healthy and light. You should ask for the complimentary house made garlic cheese crostini to go with the salad– they are delicious. The café is conveniently located in the store if you need to do some shopping.

Nordstrom café has the reputation of having the best salads but the sandwiches and pasta are just as good too. South center parking lot is always a hassle to get in and out but the parking in front of Nordstrom is usually fine. The café is located on the third floor of Nordstrom right by the juniors department. There is an outside patio. This is an ideal place for lunch and great for groups. There is plenty of seating and the ambience is pretty casual. I would recommend the tomato Alfredo penne or the grilled California panini. The pasta is very light and not heavy. One of the best panini I’ve ever had. In terms of salads the berry salad is definitely a winner. Very fresh and filling. Don’t forget their dessert menu. The carrot cake is very sweet and has a coconut twist to it. However, the strawberry shortcake is the winner. Sadly it’s only available during certain seasons.

I had the tomato chicken Alfredo pasta($ 11-$ 12) and it was delicious! A tad heavy for my taste, but the flavor was impeccable. Something I’ll crave in the future. I took me so long to come try Nordstrom café and it won’t be my last! Very chill place to have your lunch break, they’re fast and they have wifi! Perfect portion, I finished every bite feeling full. I want to try the salads next! I wish they have this place near the UW or something because they’ll have my business!

Went here with my sister for lunch. My sister enjoyed her sandwich and I liked the salad too. I wish they have a coffee or hot drink list. The prices are not bad too. The service was kinda awkward but it was ok.

I had an order of the turkey cranberry sandwich along with a strawberry rhubarb bar, and sis had an order of their shrimp angel hair pasta. It was ok, not worth almost $ 30. Ben, our waiter was very attentive. He checked up on us frequently. My Sis had to leave early for a make up apt. Ben noticed I was struggling between my baby and packing the left over to go. He came to offer his much appreciated help. I would like to try their crème brûlée next time and order something else for the entrée.

Very solid place, pretty good selection and not bad on prices. As many of you know its easy to let time get away from you shopping here or any Nordstrom, so its nice to have a not overly expensive option to eat some quality food. The only issue that I have with this place is in seems a bit disconnected with the staff, but maybe that is what they want, just doesn’t feel very welcoming at times.

Nordstrom Marketplace Café is exactly what you probably think it is. That actually makes no sense, but for some reason I don’t want to backspace it. In summary, it’s a really nice place to go to if you’re at the mall and don’t want to eat something too heavy. The pasta here is decent; I tried the shrimp marinara with angel hair pasta, and it was pretty good. It’s a solid, probably healthier alternative to all the greasy, oily stuff they sell at the food court. Actually, for the sake of transparency I love all that greasy, oily, stuff they sell at the food court. I only came here because my girlfriend wanted to eat here. Sarah if you’re reading this I’m sorry. But honestly, the food was actually pretty good and I’ll probably visit again if I have the chance.

The menu says I would get a margherita pizza. Instead, I received a cheese pizza with several slices of tomatoes and 2 leaves of basil. That’s right, they gave me an entire 2 leaves of basil for the whole pizza. I’d love to know what the cook was thinking when they made it and thought that a customer would be happy, because this is the most pathetic excuse for a margherita I’ve ever seen. They need a new cook… someone who takes pride in their work.

I work at the mall and on occasions, I crave for pasta. Unfortunately, Sbarro closed and all the other restaurants have pasta for a price that is more than my hourly wage(which means I will end up eating at least 2 hours worth of work). That is, until I found out about this tiny café on the 3rd floor of Nordy! I ordered the spicy angel hair with shrimp(probably not the actual name but thats what I call it), and it is really addicting. My favorite part about the dish is the shrimp that come with it. They are big, juicy and succulent. I need to take a picture of it, the next time I stop by. Some day, I want to order the dish, just for the shrimp. Their cheese crostini is also a hit. They usually put a couple slices with either salad or soup. But they will give you a couple with your pasta if you asked for it. If I could, I would rather have 10, but that is a lot to ask for. They will however, charge you 0.50 for a slice if you ask for extra. I took one star off because I have had a bad service one time. And I was just asking questions about their red velvet cupcake(delicious) and their dry soda(i’ve never had one and didn’t know what it was), but the girl was super rude and she just answered«its dry soda» with that«duh» attitude. Tip: You can ask for half an order, but the price might not necessarily be half. If you are ordering to-go, call ahead so you don’t have to wait.

I love Nordstrom Café… usually. For some reason the Southcenter location is not as good. The bread on my sandwich was hard and tasted stale and the service was OK. My sister had the steak sandwich and always gets is at Bellevue and Downtown. Here she said the meat was tough and the flavor wasn’t great. The salads were even average– the pears were tart, tough and and not yet ripe.

This Nordstrom café just wasn’t the best. I love Nordstrom café and this one was just kind of awkward service and the food was meh.

This restaurant is so-so. Nothing compared to its bigger brother, Nordstrom grill. Cafeteria style dining style, place your order and your server will come and find you. The angel hair pasta is not too bad, however it’s hit or miss and not very consistent. The desserts offering isn’t always fresh. Whenever I’m dining here the same thought run through my mind, why isn’t this a Nordstrom grill instead? Overall a satisfactory dining experience, better than the mall food at the food court for sure.

Had a lunch date with my eldest daughter. We went to Nordstroms Café at the recommendation of someone.(and I don’t do Nordstroms). Very good. We both got a Turkey Cranberry sandwich on a multigrain ciabatta roll. Delightful. Best sammich I’ve had in a long time. I’d go back… but I’m NOT buying their jeans for $ 150.

Always good food and friendly service. The speed though lately has been really slow. I am not sure this is the best bet for a quick bite. I will return though :)

I LOVE it at the south center mall location 3rd floor if you look towards your left youll see an organic stand that is new there super refreshing since they make everything with real fruit on the spot but as you look forward theres the café there is a display case filled with delicious desserts to tease you and the red velvet cupcake with creamcheese frosting and and and white chocolate shavings on top… if its there i swear you have to try it. after you meal … or before. or during. lol i always order the kids meal(yes they let you get it mmm) the melted cheese sandwich that comes with a drink of your choice(not alcohol) like juice or soda or iced tea, a tomato basil soup, and fruits in a cup. for less than 6 bucks i believe ! deals. ive had their other meals like sandwiches or pasta. Never have i been disappointed. Customer service is well, checked on us multiple times including to refill our drinks(fancy) and at the end for your check, theres always chocolates to finish. i never got to sit on the outside area before(seattle being rainy all the time) next time ill have to try if they have it available — not much of a view but you can see bahama breeze and all the people parking below. lol what a better way to enjoy a decent meal, at a great price and after your tired of shopping. or you can meet up n relax if you didnt shop.

I love the Chicken Apple Goat Cheese Salad. It’s the only salad that make my mouth water just by thinking about it. It really is that good. I’ve read some of the other reviews and they are correct about the lunch time wait. On the rare times that I’ve eaten in the restaurant, the wait to get your food can definitely be 10 minutes or longer which leads you with very little time to enjoy your meal. Normally, I skip this problem by calling ahead and ordering my food to go. I get to skip the long line on the left and usually my food is waiting for me when I arrive(10 – 15 minutes after I call). If you do plan on eating in the restaurant and you forget to bring tip money, you can always ask them to add a few dollars to the bill for a tip when you are ordering. They will ring you up for that amount and hand you the change which you can then use to tip the waiter/waitress or not. Make sure they give you the money though because they’ve forgotten to give me the money a time or two. Once I didn’t notice but the second time it happened I went back up to the counter and told her and she gave me the money.

After frequenting the Nordstrom eBar several times, I decided to give the Nordstrom grill here a try. I am so glad I did, and after several visits, I can happily say that the great service and food has been consistent. My favorite dish used to be the angel hair pasta with asparagus and salmon, but the menu has since changed. I had to settle for grilled salmon and veggies, and a chicken tomato Alfredo. And I quickly learned that you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! The salmon and chicken were prepared and cooked to perfection. The veggies are fresh, and gently seasoned. The portions are just right. I mean they aren’t a heaping plate full. But you will leave maybe 75% full, which is satisfactory and far from the point of needing to unbutton your pants. On the menu, it also mentions their efforts to use the best ingredients possible, which means organic and GMO-free. I still have yet to try their sandwiches, they sound so delicious!!! So I can’t wait to try them out. I haven’t tried their desserts either. The food so far is stellar, but I usually op out when it comes to dessert since there are other options around south center. If you’ve tried any stand out desserts from here, let me know! :))

I was actually surprised how good this place was. I never ate here before, I would always pass it on the third floor of Nordstrom while I was shopping, but never stopped in to grab something to eat until recently. My sister and I were shopping and she’s been here before so she asked me if I wanted to grab lunch here. I said sure, why not? I ordered the California Panini and she ordered the Salmon salad and we went to go sit in a booth. I did not realize how big it was inside either! Plenty of seating. The waiters were very friendly and the Panini was very tasty. I would see myself coming back here while shopping at Nordstrom again!

We went here on a recommendation from friends of ours who we were meeting for lunch. I have never and wouldn’t think of having lunch at Nordstroms but we were willing to give them a shot. I ordered the special which was a roasted cauliflower cussili which I certainly enjoyed. The portion size was perfect especially for lunch. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant and certainly good for large groups or lunch with a colleague! That’s probably where the good stopped. We probably waited 30 minutes for our food. When you are serving lunch, a good deal of folks are on a schedule like we were so this was not good. I realize that perhaps they were slammed prior to us getting there and maybe catching up but it certainly was slow. Another thing, which I guess shouldn’t have surprised me since this place is inside Nordstrom, but $ 26 for two people’s lunch was way over priced. Yes, it was good but I could see maybe $ 20 but even that was a stretch. Anyway, if you are already in the store it might be a good option, but it’s not really a place I would go out of the way to visit, especially since I dislike malls in general and tend to avoid them.
