If I could, I would give a negative star. Snobby hostesses, cocky bartenders, uptight waitresses, while having nothing bold about them. Friends blah, wine selection can easily be found at your local grocery.

One of my favorite places to come and have a drink. Key word drink. The food is overpriced and small portions. Great vibe, great location, cool staff brings me back. Hibachi wings are a fav of mine. The egg roll mashed potatoes are good. I finally tried the lobster and shrimp ravioli. It was a good dish, but I wish it was a more filling portion. You get 3 shrimp and a few ravioli so not worth the price. Overall great place to drink and socialize. Some days the service is slow. Usually when the hawks are in the building and the waitresses get distracted… If you been to Joeys you know this…

Order the«new» French dip and wasn’t a big fan. The old French dip was much better. We asked for it without mustard and instead they did it without onions. The food was just ok. Also water came without ice(ours was pretty warm). They did, however, comp the sandwich they messed up on but we will not come back. Service was pretty horrible. It took forever, then we noticed that half a dozen staff member(including our server) was sitting a table in the bar socializing.

We always love coming to Joey, the slushy adult beverages are the draw! It was a good thing the slush is still amazing. I veered off course and tried a blueberry mojito which was ok — would have been better with a few more blueberries and more muddling to release the flavor of the mint. We started our meal with the Hibachi Wings which were yummy! They were seasoned and cooked to perfection and dipping sauce they come with was delicious. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos and they were just ok — if they came out unassembled for the diner to assemble maybe the coating of the fish would remain crispy but alas, it was soggy. The guacamole was yummy but the addition of the shrimp was unnecessary. My husband got a Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad which he thought was very good — one of the better. So we had a few hits and a few misses! Unfortunately, it seemed as the hostess and also our server would’ve preferred to be elsewhere. The attitude that was present may be necessary to deal with the bar crowd late at night but I’m not sure it’s appropriate for a lunch crowd.

We stumbled upon this gem when we were going to another restaurant in the area but they were closed. We were so annoyed but now we are so glad that it happened! From the welcoming hostess, the fabulous manager, and our wonderful server(Gretchen…who we found out was quite the skateboarder), the staff was the best. Then there’s the food… Wow! We loved the fried cauliflower, chicken wings, fish tacos, salads. The staff found out that we were visiting and surprised us with some lovely desserts. When we come back to town, this will be our first stop! Do yourself a favor and stop by. Say hi to Gretchen for us. She was great!

I came here with a large group of 12 people for lunch. If you have a large group, each person has to spend a minimum of $ 15 and 18% gratuity will automatically be charged. I ordered the chicken fettuccini alfredo and it honestly didn’t taste that good. For $ 18.50, I expected a lot more. I added salt and pepper to it which made it a little better. Overall I don’t think the dish is worth that much. I’ve had a lot better fettuccini alfredo’s at other places. One of my friends ordered a steak and asked for medium rare, but her steak came out as well-done. The service could also be improved. After arriving, it took awhile for our table to be set up even though the restaurant was pretty empty when we went. I probably won’t come back unless someone is planning an event here.

Whoever makes the menu should really learn the definition of premium when writing«premium wells» on their happy hour menu. I ordered a Jack and Coke, which you’d think would be covered, but when the only drinks qualified are the bottom-shelf $ 10/gal alcohol… Monarch is FAR from«premuim», and $ 9 for a short glass that’s mostly ice is laughable outside of a bar or cruise. Needless to say I’m never going back here. I guess it could be argued that I should have clarified that the drink I ordered was covered by the happy hour… but if I show her the happy hour menu with my finger pointed at the wells while making my order, it should be obvious. Also, the company should take responsibility for the misunderstanding and adjust the bill.

I really wanted to like to this place as I’ve stopped by Joey’s at University Village for drinks before. I saw what people ordered and it looked great! Fast forward to my visit at Southcenter. My sister was in town for work and she wanted to grab dinner. We chose JOEY because I wanted to try the food and our first choice closes at 9.(Work and travel times made it difficult so I wouldn’t have been able to get there at a reasonable time). Anyway, sister ordered fish tacos, fries and calamari. The fish tacos were great. Had some shrimp in there as well, which is my favorite seafood. The calamari, however was mediocre. Some of it was cold, some of it wasn’t crispy, some of it was soggy. I ordered a Breaker 41 Pale Ale, Habachi wings and a sushi cone. The wings were pretty good. They had some nice flavor. Presented with a generous amount too.(Good for sharing or a solo meal). The sushi cone was good but that thing is small. I was expecting something like a hand roll you would see at sushi spots lol but I was wrong. It was good but I probably wouldn’t order it again. The service was alright. Our waitress started off pretty good but then she disappeared. The only thing I really look for in service is if I get asked if I need another drink or more water. That’s all. If I’m not asked that question, I knock off points. What’s funny is that the table next to us had great service(that waitress delivered my beer). As we were just about done eating, we were waiting for our check. We were stalling and as I look around, I see our waitress just standing in the corner. We made eye contact and she knew right away. We asked for our check and a box. Boxed up our food, signed out and left. Overall, a mediocre experience. The place is nice and has a pretty sweet wine cellar though. Hit or miss on the service I guess…

Was invited out by a buddy to join him and a couple of other guys to happy hour at JOEY Southcenter. Expecting a more of a sports bar vibe, I was a little confused when I walked in because this place has the feel of a cool, albeit commercialized lounge. No, I didn’t research this place before we arrived, but it turns out my gut feeling about JOEY being part of a corporate-owned chain was correct – I guess the designation of «Southcenter» was kind of a big hint too, lol. But my confusion over their choice of establishments dissipated when I saw them ogling the waitresses. I guess these guys are all married and/or are in serious relationships so this is their version of «cutting loose» on a Friday afternoon? Who am I to judge? I ordered the Superfood 500(organic red quinoa, wheat berries, raw vegetables, watermelon radish, almonds, and avocado) and my friend ordered the Nachos Grande(pulled chicken, salsa, sour cream, pickled jalapeño, olives, Monterey Jack, avocado, and refried beans). The Superfood 500 tasted really fresh and the combination was balanced, as to be expected from a centralized menu planning and development approach. I didn’t have a chance to try the nachos because it wasn’t cheat day, but my buddy(and the guys who came later) polished them off pretty quickly. From that fact and its presentation I’m going to go out on a limb and say it was delicious, haha. As for drinks, we all had several rounds of their happy hour special. Super Stoked Vodka(Smirnoff cherry or vanilla vodka, Coca Cola, fresh lemon-lime slush). The cocktails were a little on the sweet side(which contributed to my hangover the next day, or if could have been the other drinks we had after we left), but I can see the appeal. I was a little conflicted about giving this place three stars instead of four because the vibe is pretty cool, food ranges from decent-to-good, and the drinks go down easy. However, they still seem to have issues with their service. Specifically, JOEY still needs to perfect their shared table server procedures because they just didn’t seem to be on top of it and for a corporate affair this should NEVER be an issue. They could probably take page or two out of Hillstone Restaurant Group’s server training manual.** All-in-all, I would have no problems coming here again. It’s just not a place to try if I were to look for something more adventurous. #ThatGuy * Hillstone operates restaurants like Houston’s, Bandera, and Gulfstream, all of which have great service.

This place is STILL So AMAZING!!! Courtnie Crome at the bar has been my absolute favorite bartender for a long time! She always makes me feel like I’m the only customer in the world each time I visit Washington State(Jacqueline-night shift manager is incredible as well). If you’re in the area, you have to go see these guys! I recommend the Fish Tacos! Best in Town! Thanks Again Courtnie!

Great food, good portions, nice atmosphere. A great place for groups! This place can get really busy so order as fast as you can when you arrive. The waitresses are friendly and efficient, most of the time. I had my birthday here 2 years ago, they accommodated a group of 25ish people, everyone got their food fast and the hostess got creative with seating. Left side bar, right side nah. Their drinks are great and on the stronger side. Sunny days: sit out side, get the wings and a bellini !

There’s something about Joey. There really is because every time I come here I feel great. Service is always good. People are always beautiful. Food is always good. 17 $ blackened Caesar salad. Get it. It is so good. However not entrée at all. It needed much more lettuce to be worth $ 17!!! Haha! That’s the only reason I didn’t give it a full 5. Get their hibachi wings and a peach Bellini.

We came here for celebration of my sister becoming a nurse. My friend Kiara comes here all the time and just makes it sound so good! **I had also come previously on a date but to the bar for drinks and it was very chic loved it** Back to the story here. There were 7 of us out of that 72 were toddlers. The bathrooms are very nice but not mommy friendly. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get our table. My brother asked for something to be removed from his nachos I think it was olives or tomatoes can’t remember but the brought the nachos with that still on it and when we told them they took it back and brought it back with still some of that topping on it. The chicken was okay. The real issue here is that the food is over priced and mediocre to say the least. So if you want to over spend on some BASICSHIT be my guess! Joeys is your place! =]

Came here for lunch by myself today while I was waiting a couple hours for my car to get new brakes. Service started slow as I think they weren’t sure who my server was, they were very apologetic though and made the rest of my experience enjoyable. Bacon cheeseburger was great and I love the shoestring fries. I was also able to connect to wifi and enjoy a couch area near a fireplace to get some work done on my laptop while I waited for my car. Bottom line I’ve been to this joeys before and it is always a good experience and today was no different. Solid restaurant with good food and service.

Called the restaurant three weeks in advance to make a 8ppl reservation! Called three days before to confirm and update the amount of people to 14, when the person who answered the phone said«oh you don’t have reservations» I almost cried what was I going to do! Called Bellevue joeys who couldn’t get me in until 1.5hrs later! I kept thinking what am I going to tell my friends, their spouses and kids who were coming to my welcome back party! Not ok!!! My friend called three hours later and updated the #of attendees right away! What in confused about is why did I get a different story? I know there isn’t much of a high stars here but to top it off with my friend who called back three hours later got a call DAYOFF…“I wanted to confirm the 8 people” you have for the party tonight! Fan fracking tastic. After my friend called three hours later I was not very nice with Thu who saved the day… for them to call back, day of and say«confirming 8 people». Wtf is going on with everything in this ONE place? Is there too many new people, to many people trying to confirm the wrong amount, to many new people dipping in the same pot! To many people doing A One person job! Or maybe better training! My favorite part wasn’t mentioned before BUT it was when I called Bellevue joeys they just took my reservation and nothing else! When I spoke with the first person at Southcenter joeys she told me I needed to make sure everyone pays $ 20 bucks a person or I will get my card charged $ 250 bucks IF we didn’t make that total($ 250)!!! First of all I almost gave this dysfunctional restaurant my credit card, so what they could confirm my amount of 250 bucks charged because we did spend over 200+ bucks that evening! Maybe because we split the checks so that didn’t count!!! noooo not ok! So annoyed. I will tell you the two stars is for the food, the semi ok drinks, and our amazing waitress who JUST started a month or so ago and she was great! She doesn’t know much about the old menu BC I’ve been doing my birthdays here since 2008!!! This has been the spot(well Joeys not this location). I got my car broken into in the one in Seattle! I had the worst service at the one in university district and now Southcenter who has never messed up and can’t even get my «reservations» right. What the heck is going on, where is the manager who use to walk around and talk to people! Where is the presence to make sure service is being done throughout! I’m just saying this experience wasn’t ok at all! I hate to write bad reviews but 8+years of amazing everything and there we go!!! Out the door! I’m glad I got my fries, my chicken sandwich, the lettuce wraps, summer sangria and two belinis. Great food!!!

This place is a complete and utter rip off. Every time I step foot in here I have to spend close to $ 50. One of the few economically priced items were the wings. You used to get a mountain full for a good price. Now they give you half of the amount and haven’t changed the price. Serious rip off.

This place is good for HH, drinks, meeting up with friends when I don’t want to drive all the way to Seattle. The décor is beautiful and servers are very hospitable. I love their summer sangria as it tastes like juice!! I I also love their peach bellinis. if you’e not a big drinker like me, you might also like these two drinks! My favorite food here is their ahi tuna tacos. They are indeed very mini but SO delicious! They sear their tuna perfectly and the green sauce is amazing. I also love their lettuce wraps. A bit on the salty side but I love it. Their shoe string fries are also great. Their nachos are delicious, huge but have a spicy kick so if you’re not into spicy, you have been warned! My other favorite is theur tuna SANDWICH! or burger I guess. it’s seared tuna with this amazing sweet relish. Is it mango? their menu has all sorts of food from Asian food to sushi rolls to purely american. So there is something for everyone. This is never my first choice for food but somewhere I’d go for decent to good food with some girlfriends on a bored Saturday or after shopping happy hour! It is a bit on the pricier side which is why I prefer going for HH.

Came here for drinks and late night snacking. Everyone needs a place when it’s 10PM but they’re not feeling a full blown dinner. Thankfully Joey’s is open so late! It was open bar/lounge seating when I arrived. The place has all kinds of seating so it’s easy to find something that is comfortable for you. The interior is dim lit and the TV’s are all going. People are chatting up storms so the place gives you your night time atmosphere. I wasn’t super hungry but did want something to drink and munch on for the night. I started with the peach bellini. I’ve never had one, but was really excited to try. I can’t handle the taste of alcohol very well and thought this drink was quite lovely. The peach slushy at the top tasted more like juice so it masked the taste of the strong alcohol pretty well. You can still taste the alcohol, but it’s definitely not as strong as other drinks. This seems like it would be a great beginner drink for someone who is new to drinking. If you like the taste of peaches, this is a fun drink! For appetizers, I tried the calamari and the sliders. There is a lot of calamari so plan on sharing. It comes with what looks like spicy-mayo aioli. Unfortunately, I wasn’t too big of a fan of the aioli. It just seemed a little too strong for the calamari. I would have appreciated a different, lighter kind of aioli. I also think there should be more than one lime wedge on the plate. For those who like a little lime on their calamari, one lime will definitely not suffice for the amount of calamari that is on the plate. In terms of the calamari, the breading was not sticking to the calamari very well and was a bit on the soggier side. It was just a bit too soft and I would have liked a more crispy breading. They also deep fry pieces of onion and baby asparagus so don’t be surprised when you bite into something expecting calamari and it’s not. The sliders was a better experience than the calamari. There are three, adorable little mini burgers. Overall they were satisfactory, but not amazing. I would have wanted the meat to be cooked a little more pink and would have appreciated some green like arugula. They still were a good savory light snack that I would consider getting again. Service was on and off. There were many waitresses on duty and the table was checked up on. When it came to asking for boxes and the check, it took a bit longer than wanted. I think she might have forgotten, but the task was eventually accomplished. Each day they have certain cocktails that are half off. For Monday, it was the peach bellini, hurray! This place isn’t a bad place if you’re looking for a place to chill late at night. It’s good average food and what seems to be a decent drink selection. I would come back if a late spot was needed.

So this place hires only hot girls as servers. No wonder there are so many guys come here to flirt and watch sports. Don’t get me wrong the chicks here are really cool I just feel bad there are so much nonsense they have to deal with lol Alright back to food and drink. I got the Cheateu st Michelle Indian Wells merlot. Lots of local WA wines and the house is actually not bad. Also a plus for the location too. Yay for drunk shopping!

My boyfriend and I came for dinner last night. We like going here when we can’t decide on a type of food to eat. I like their menu because they have something that will satisfy almost any craving. Pasta, salad, burgers, sushi, etc. We sat in the bar area. The waitstaff were extremely attentive despite it being pretty busy. I was impressed! We ordered hibachi wings to start which are our favs. Not your traditional huge wings, these are on the smaller side. I was definitely like«whaaat are thooose» when I first ordered them but I’ve grown to love them lol. Sometimes smaller is better! I had the rainbow roll as my main dish and my boyfriend got the bacon cheddar burger with fries + blue cheese. I am obsessed with their fries! They are skinny shoelace, and nice and crispy. The roll was okay but I really liked the burger so we ended up trading haha. The food also came out in a timely manner which was a huge plus!
