Doug Fox Airport Parking

Had to use this for a month and a half while i wait for my badge for the employee parking at sea-​tac employee parking site. Never use parking service before. For the most part the workers are very friendly, doesn’t matter what time of the day. And very helpful with the luggage. I can see getting repetitive and annoying having a million calls a day asking for pickup and doing the same route a million time. At least i would be but they are always in a good mood and positive mood. I always try tip them when i can.
I call every time i needed a pickup but they always have the vehicles coming through, so its almost unnecessary to call.
I had no problem finding parking at all and a quick pick up by their vehicles. Haven’t use any other parking service but their price is pretty competitive from what i see and i believe they are the closest off site parking.

Have been using Doug Fox Airport parking for 4 years. They are very quick at picking you up from their parking lot, and from the airport. Often you don’t need to call for a pick up since they come through so frequently.
Recently when I got on the shuttle, I left a pair of Bose Noise Canceling headphones on the shuttle. Was very pleased when I returned 9 days later and inquired about them, they had them. Appreciate the honest employees. I wasn’t sure if I had left them in my the trunk, or did I take them and set them down on the seat.
I was a loyal customer before, and it just makes me that much happier to continue to park here. Employees make the difference.

The best. No reason to go anywhere else. My husband and I both travel for business, and we appreciate the efficiency at this lot. They have their systems dialed in well, and everyone is friendly and professional. I appreciate that I can use my points in the reward program to park here for personal travel.

I made a reservation online; but the system crashed Three Times! However, I did save a pdf of my reservation confirmation number. I called the lot and gave them my name and confirmation number which agent wrote down. I’m hoping all goes okay at 7:30 AM when I arrive to board the plane.

As a backup I called direct to the parking lot to explain the problem and they confirmed there was a intermittent problem with the system; so they manually recorded my info on their paper logs. Consequently, I was able to park with no problem on 10÷11÷15 and catch my plane and celebrate my Grandmother’s 100^th BIRTHDAY! Additionally, the owner Darin contacted me via email yesterday and refunded the deposit and corrected the total final amount I was charged to include the coupon discount.
Thank you Jesus! It all worked out.

Great service– the shuttle drivers really go out of their way to help and if you are running late, they will make sure you get to the airport quickly.

Very close to the airport with direct access to the airport road. They are building a new entrance/​exit area. Very good service. Free water in the shuttle bus. If only they would go cheaper :)

I love these guys! I’ve been using this lot for about a year, and have received great service every time! The experience is pretty consistent, there’s a bus that picks you up within a minute of parking your car, and you’re off to the airport shortly after that. It’s usually at the airport no more than 10 minutes after I’ve parked my car. When you’re back at Seatac, just call the number on the card they give you, and a bus will arrive shortly after. The driver takes the card and drops you off right at your car.

We had a good experience here parking for 1 week, with quick service to and from the airport. It was actually a very quick wait for the shuttle returning, much faster than other airport parking I have used. They are also extremely close to the airport.
One IMPORTANT note to share — on the Unilocal App if you check in, the 20% off coupon that appears is EXPIRED since 2012 and they do not want to honor it. They did honor it for me as an exception. I would encourage this company to remove that coupon on the Unilocal app to avoid confusion. If you want a discount you can print their coupon from the website.

So if I owned an off-​site parking lot and it was extremely convenient to the airport and had rapid courteous drivers I would charge more than the other guys. Luckily for you I don’t own it and Doug keeps his pricing down despite the complimentary water on the shuttle.
1 star ding cause some idiot dinged my car. Don’t bring your Ferrari.

We use Doug fox frequently. Not sure what’s happened to them but we waited 25 minutes for a bus, woman driver had the bus so cold, and refused a couple said bus was too crowded when there were 4 available seats. Too bad, there are other better places.

Their spots are ridiculously narrow and as a result our door was dinged. Staff couldn’t have been less interested. They’re close to the airport but the place is a rundown mess. Pay a little more and park somewhere else.

*Update* I am reducing my review from a 5-​star to a 4-​star, because Doug Fox’s pricing is on the high end of most parking lots near the airport. The other one’s are just as good albeit slightly farther from the actual airport, but once you are in the shuttle it does not take too much extra time compared to a lot that is right near the airport. The shuttles are cleaner and newer for Doug Fox, but everything else is basically the same but $ 4-​$ 6 cheaper elsewhere.
I really considered giving this place a 4 star, but there is really nothing major wrong with it, so I believe it is one of the best airport parking services I’ve ever found. The price is pretty steep for airport parking, but everything is to a high standard and I have yet to use a cheaper service so I don’t know if it’s worth all of the money or not. For now, I am leaving the review this high.
I’ve been here twice and the lit signs in the parking lot make it very easy to find an open spot and make sure that the shuttle driver is quick on your tail. It only takes 30 seconds to a minute for them to arrive right at my car. They offer water and the bus is always extremely clean and has nice, new seats that are comfortable.
The location is super close to the airport. It only takes about five to ten minutes in a shuttle to the terminals. The drivers have also been very friendly each time and also the cashier when I check out.
The first time I discovered parking outside of the airport garage, I felt like I struck gold. The price is almost half of what you pay to park in the airport garage. Now, though, I am shopping around as Doug Fox is a little steep compared to the competition and their online coupon is a joke. Still, I have found no problems and I always get to the airport early enough, in case there are any with the shuttle drivers, but this has not been an issue with me. I’m assuming anyone that would have a bad review here is either a stickler for personal service from the shuttle driver (they are good at getting bags but I handle my own anyway and would not care if they did not) or they didn’t give themselves a big enough window of time before their flight and want to put the blame on someone else.
One last note: They give you a card when you park that has a number that you should call when you are waiting outside in the service vehicles area. They then know to send a shuttle out. Then, flag them down and they are right there for you. Usually the van does not have many passengers when I have used it, but that’s not a sign that they are not doing well, in my opinion, but that they have ample drivers and a good flow of people getting to their cars quickly.
I have seen other shuttles full of people, but the only reason for this is because there was a Groupon going around recently. Doug Fox doesn’t have to rely on gimmicks like Groupons, and I’ve seen their lot pretty full recently. They are also building a new section of lot to accommodate more people. I do wish they would have a better coupon code, though.

We needed parking for a few days while we were in Santa Barbara. I was planning to just use SeaTac’s parking but at the last minute, remembered Doug Fox was so close to the airport. We were in and out of Fox in mere minutes and their shuttle took us to the airport immediately. The driver was very courteous and professional. He helped us load and unload our luggage and offered us complimentary bottled water.
When we returned from our trip, we only had to wait about 5 minutes for the shuttle. On the shuttle ride to the parking lot, I found an online coupon using my smartphone. They honored it with no hassles.
This is the fourth or fifth time I have used Doug Fox and I will continue to do so. So fast and convenient!

I am writing this standing on the curb trying to catch the shuttle to return to our car. Many competitors shuttles keep going by, while we stand here waiting. Then a full doug fox shuttle goes by, no room for us. So annoying. Pick another company for sure, everyone else clearly has more frequent service.

Busy thanksgiving week and they did a great job. Driver was super nice and helpful with our luggage. Dropping car off was fast and we didn’t have to wait too long to be picked up when we arrived back from our trip.
It is best to wait down where the shuttles come in and then you don’t have to worry about the shuttle filling up and not being able to get you on.

We have parked here a few times while traveling and really like it. The lot is secure and well organized. Both times a shuttle was there to pick us up before we even got our bags out of the car and similarly getting picked up and taken back to the car is a breeze. Price is good at about $ 15 a day and it is the closest lot to the airport.

In June 2011 I purchased a Groupon offer, $ 16 for three days parking at SeaTac Park on S. 200^th St., about three miles south of the airport. That’s a heck of a deal, right? Anticipating wowing my wife and kids with my coupon purchasing prowess, I felt quite smug as we headed out for vacation several weeks later. Driving south on I-​5 to SR-​518, I exited where I always exit onto International Blvd figuring it would only take a few extra minutes to get to the lot.
So we head south.
And traffic is barely moving.
And we manage to hit every red light.
And we’re driving past one off-​site lot after another.
And it’s getting closer and closer to our departure time.
And my wife is in the passenger seat glaring at me.
My god I had no idea that driving 40 blocks could take so long.
This is taking forever.

That was an uncomfortable lesson. Yes, we made our flight, but the stress involved was not worth the money saved. From that moment, I not only swore off remote off-​site parking lots, but Groupon altogether.
Shortly after that incident one of my co-​workers came into my office to share an anecdote. It seems that he had been parking at Doug Fox Parking for years and had only just realized that Doug Fox has a frequent parking program. Better yet, there was no expiration for entering previous visits into the system, so he had been able to pull several years of expense reports, find the receipts and input his stays on the Doug Fox website. Instantaneously he had accrued enough points to qualify for over a week of free parking.
While I had been saving a few dollars on Groupon, he had been building a far more valuable return on investment completely by accident! Needless to say, the next time I had reason to park at the airport I parked at Doug Fox and have been parking there ever since.
There are a few things that make an off-​site parking lot 5-​star worthy.
First, of course, is location. Doug Fox is located about three minutes from the terminal, just off the Airport Expressway Air Cargo Road exit (take a left).
It simply could not be easier to get to.
Second is price. As we’ve already established, when it comes to airport parking, the further away you get, the less expensive it becomes. So, when parking close to the airport and in proximity to many other lots, the key question to ask is, «Is what I’m paying silimar to what other lots are charging?» Doug Fox helps to assure that their prices are competitive by making a coupon available on their website (

Third, is there room to park? There’s nothing worse than pulling into a parking lot and finding a «Full» sign. Fortunately I’ve never had this occur at Doug Fox because the lot is huge, but also because you can reserve a space online for only $ 10 which is applied to your total bill at the end of your stay.
Finally, does the parking lot provide good customer service? When you call for a pickup, is the person on the other phone polite? Does the shuttle arrive in a timely manner? Do cars move through the payment queue quickly?
For the most part Doug Fox scores high on all of these questions. Waiting for a shuttle pickup is always a roll of the dice. If you just missed a shuttle, you’re gonna wait a while. My last trip, the wait was nearly 15 minutes, which is a long time — longer than I would expect. But at nearly 1AM, there was probably only one shuttle in operation, so that’s more bad luck than bad service. Otherwise the people are friendly, efficient and energetic. The lot feels safe (it’s enclosed and well lit). The shuttles are clean and have bottled water for thirsty travelers.
So there you have it, everything that goes into the making of a 5-​star review of a parking lot. There’s more to it than you would think, huh?
Oh yea, just one more thing: don’t be a cheapskate, tip your driver!

Just about the easiest way for airport transportation. I always hate asking people to drive me to the airport — you know they really don’t want to but they feel obligated, and I live too far out for something like shuttle express or a straight shot on public transportation.
I like just driving myself and parking at Doug Fox. You barely turn off our engine and the coach is there to pick you up. They are always nice and friendly and helpful with the bags and have water to offer.
Then on return, you can call for pick-​up, but usually the coach comes so quickly on its own I never have to call, and then I get door to car door service.
The price is not so bad (well especially if my company is paying for it), but keep a lookout for coupons because they do have them out there and I got a 20% off coupon with my Unilocal check-​in.

Easy to park. Plenty of space at any given time of the day.
