Jack In The Box

The food was so, so, not as good as Burger King, Wendy’s, or Carl’s Jr of the fast food world. The wait was long even though there was only two customers ahead of us. Two stars for Jack and an extra star for having the dining room open while Taco Bell across the street had it’s dining room doors locked.

This is the worst fast food restaurant ever. Employees who don’t care to work here, messy dining room and horrible customer service. This gets a failing grade. I almost tempted to call Terri Channita, the area manager at 425−281−8034. I wonder if Terri would even care.

I don’t know where to start… Dirty, a lot of the lights were burned out and was very dim inside. The booths are wore out and have deep indentations in them lol. We both ordered the crispy spice chicken and it was neither. Tasted like old fryer grease and the bread was so dry I had to take a drink on every bite. We were both starving so we are it anyways. The highlight was the curly fries. Those were hot and pretty tasty.

Without a doubt the worst Jack-​in-​the-​Box I have ever visited. The drive-​through had probably 10 to 12 cars waiting in line. I went inside to order and it took nearly 30 minutes to get Jack’s famous two for $.99 tacos. When I finally received my food the tacos had no cheese as the restaurant had run out. My French fries were cold soggy and tasted as uf they had been sitting in grease. The manager was also informing every customer that they had run out of mayonnaise.
The store was completely understaffed and customers were waiting 10 to 15 minutes just to place their order at the counter. The manager on duty was constantly yelling orders at the crew and was not much help at all. Her yelling became quite annoying, redundant, and counterproductive.
The restaurant was rather filthy inside and had drug addicts coming in off the street to fill their water bottles from the soda fountain. There were also some individuals that looked like gang members in the restaurant. I did not feel safe at all, and could not wait to rush back to my hotel.
My lackluster food paled in comparison to the other problems at this restaurant location. I would never, never return here!

The quality of Jack in the Box keeps declining as time goes on. I don’t understand. This chain has the worst customer service and quality out of any other fast food restaurant, which is unfortunate, because I like that they have a variety of menu items and taste pretty good. Maybe it’s just in Washington, or whoever manages them in this area.
Recently, every time I go here now, they mess up. You should make sure to double check your bag for everything because they will always forget something, really. When I went here a few months ago, I didn’t check my bag and they forgot my hash brown. I went back to pick it up and then when we went home, we realized they also forgot a sandwich. The next couple weeks after I made an order I made the mistake of not checking the bag and they forgot my tacos :(Also, when they were promoting their Buttery Jack, it was good the first time we had it, and the next time we got old patties. Isn’t their slogan «we don’t make till you order it?»
This may be a fast food restaurant, but they should at least make sure they do their job.

A little slow, but hit and fresh when it arrived. Had the chicken teriyaki combo. Not bad.

A very nice gentleman took my Needy order with such a smile. I think the name of my burger was the Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger deluxe. It was to die for!!! Yum!

Came here for a late breakfast and had the quite the time here. The service/​food was the best.

Horrible service and even worse food. Guy working register was slower than a slug taking orders and getting food ready. Long wait, food was cold, and surprise, they messed up on my order giving me wrong items. I told him it was for here, not to go, but he throws it all in a bag anyway. When I call him on it he gets offended and stares me down. Yeah, real classy place.

This Jack in the box is a restaurant I cannot in any right state of mind recommend to anyone. Firstly, the overall cleanliness of this eatery is abhorrent. The filth on the floor is so thick it’s tactile. The service was sub-​par, they screwed up my order. However after confronting the cashier everything was fixed. Now on to the food. My order consisted of 2 jumbo jacks, 4 tacos, med fries, med curly fries and a med vanilla milkshake. The milkshake that I ordered yet was not given to me with my order was quite delicious. The jumbo jacks had loads of grease on the outside of the wrapper, I practically had to wash my hands to get it all off. Now the fries, neither the regular or the curly fries were fresh, the regular straight fries were downright stale. On to the tacos… absolutely deplorable. 2 of the tacos were on par, however one of them had legitimately no meat. The other one… my God, there was so much grease all over the thing it was inedible. As well as being inedible there was also a piece of bacon in it. BACON in my taco. Absolutely disgusting. And don’t even get me started about the bathroom. All I can say is DAMN. There was used toilet paper everywhere, it was nasty. I will never return to this Jack in the box location in my life and again, I cannot in any right mind reccommend this location to anybody. Seriously, it was repulsive.

Ate here on a recent business trip. Discovered that I don’t like JIB burgers. Good curly-​fries though. But what really impressed me was how well I was treated by the young man who greeted me and took my order. Whomever it was, he sure ought to be moving up to something better than fast-​food, and JiB is lucky to have him in the meantime.

Friendly clean UPDATE Dining room open till 2am except Sat 24 hours. Drive thru open ²⁴⁄₇.

It’s so bad for you but I always crave it when I’m pregnant! I love their curly fries and ultimate cheeseburgers! Ohhh I also LOVE their milk shakes! Don’t get me wrong I know you can get a better burger somewhere else, but when it’s 11pm and you have the munchies I’m so glad I can always go here!

Being that this Jack in the Box is closest to where I live, I will come here when I catch a craving for sausage & egg burrito, or a meaty burrito. I love the fact that you can order breakfast at any time.
The service is usually pretty slow if they are like two or more cars in line at the drive-​thru, & that sucks when you don’t feel like waiting.
It’s your basic Jack in the Box inside & out with average to slow service. For an airport Jack in the Box, they keep it clean. Recommended.

Wow! This place is puzzling! At 1:47 pm, I ordered a breakfast combo. The cashier wouldn’t allow a substitution for a soda instead of coffee, so I was forced to pay for both. I take the coffee cup and try to pump my coffee and guess what? You got it. They were out if coffee. Thank god I paid extra for a soda also or else I’d be eating without anything to drink. What a crappy Jack in the Box! This has never happened to me before. Everyone allows drink substitutions, even if there’s a small up charge.

I don’t do Jack in the Box very often, but just flew in to SeaTac, and needed a quick lunch before hitting the road. Tried the chicken fajita pita, which seemed like one of the healthier options, but didn’t taste so good. And didn’t feel very well for the rest of the day either. Hubby got the chicken club, and said it was ok. Kids liked their grilled cheese. Standard burger might be your best bet, but an even better bet might be going somewhere else.

This Jack in the Box, on the Northwest corner of International Boulevard and South 188 Street, was conveniently located a quick walk across the street from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport where I was staying for a long weekend as well as near the SeaTac Airport.
Both the dining room and the drive thru are open ²⁴⁄₇. The restaurant was surprisingly clean, there was free wifi, and there were even electrical outlets in the dining room that people were using to charge their laptop computers and their cell phones. I had breakfast every morning while I was staying here and even made a late night run (or would you consider 3:00 early morning) here for a taco run.
The employees are well trained in the art of the upsell. Every time I tried to order they attempted to convince me that I should add fries, mini cookies, or a piece of cheesecake to my order, but I stood firm in my resolve (even during the 3:00 am run) and didn’t add a single thing to my orders. I guess you can’t blame them for trying.
I found the atmosphere surprisingly quiet and relaxing, and there were no sketchy people hanging out, so I give this place my seal of approval.

I go to Jack in the Box a few times a year for late night snacks, but have been disappointed recently (last two months) at their later night service. After about 8 or 9pm, their Drive Thru gets extremely slow. Twice now, I’ve waited for over 20 minutes in the Drive Thru.
Once, 30 minutes, behind one car and there were 7 cars behind me (so I couldn’t back out) when I got to the screen/​mic to give my order no one said anything for five minutes, so I finally pulled up behind the car in front of me. They waited at the window for another 15 minutes, talking to the person.
In the meantime, I needed to get to the airport to pick someone up. I was expecting this to be a 5 minute, drive thru, grab food, go. Finally, I got out of my car to request the person in front of me to pull up so I could get out. I did complain to headquarters about this incident and was told they would work on improving this problem and speak with management.
The second time this happened, I was reluctant to even use the Drive Thru, after my last experience, but I hoped that corporate had helped them in improving their speed. Plus, there was no one in line.
I ordered the food, got up to the window, no one acknowledged us for 5 minutes at least, finally they brought one of our drinks, and took our payment, then closed the window and left for another 7 minutes. When they came back I asked if they had any offers for people that had to wait for 15 minutes and the girl said ‘No, I don’t think so.’ Finally, after being there for 22 minutes, we got the rest of our order and were able to leave.
I won’t be going back to this Jack in the Box unless I have a good hour to wait for my food.

Found my way to Jack in the Box while I was staying in Seattle for BurlyCon. In typical Seattle fashion, it was pouring rain. Service was quick and the food was really quite good, considering it was fast food.
Good, clean restaurant. Would return if I ever stay near the airport again!

Yay! They kept the lobby open late during Norwescon this year!
My biggest gripe about this place has always been that they advertise ‘open 24 hours’ but you HAVE to get in a CAR and go to the DRIVE-​THRU after 22:00. If you’re at Norwescon (which is the only time I ever go to this Jack in the Box), you probably do not want to give up your parking space just to get a couple of cheap tacos and certainly don’t want to get behind the wheel if you’ve been to any of the parties.
During this year’s Norwescon I only stopped in Jack in the Box briefly for tacos and coffee (both hit the spot; its a Con thing…) during normal lobby hours, but on each of several late night trips back and forth between the Doubletree and La Quinta I could see con-​goers dining in the restaurant. Kudos!
