A-Plus Hearing Aid

Having been fitted with my first pair of hearing aids at the age of three or four, I have nearly 50 years of experience under my belt as a hearing impaired individual relying on technology to improve my life. I had settled into a very good routine, enjoying life and getting new hearing aids every few years from a major national discounter, not realizing that I was missing out on major technological developments that could have been making life sound even better for me.
A recent move to Seattle and to the West Seattle Junction neighborhood with its incredible diversity of local restaurants, shops and services, inspired a new level of commitment to buying local, so I decided to give the hearing aid shop down the block a try. Am I ever glad I did.
Tim Hagen changed my life when he first plugged me into a pair of hearing aids that he programmed to my specific audiogram and sent me home hearing the world in a whole new way. I was hearing familiar sounds differently and hearing sounds I’d never heard before. (Did you know that flies actually buzz?) Even better, these new hearing aids connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone, allowing me to stream the audio for phone calls and music and video directly from the phone to my ears — no cables required! Incredible clarity.
