A-Seattle Towing

Edwin is great. Arrived on-​time. Was polite, professional and helpful.
Very knowledgeable and had good information about my vehicle on what to try in the event I am stranded on the road.
I did not expect much from a tow car service, but was pleasantly surprised with Edwin.

Well… the 45 minute wait turned into over an hour… but I sort of expected that. What I didn’t expect was a guy to show up who had no idea how to find or remove the spare tire on my car! First he asked for the manual (don’t have one) and then when I told him it was an under-​car stowage compartment, he didn’t know how to release it. So I showed him how to remove the liners from the cargo department… and I showed him where the release lever was… and I showed him how to use the tools to make the release mechanism work! he was finally able to drop the spare from the stowage compartment. Then, he couldn’t figure out how to release the tire from the mounting bracket. After fiddling with it for several minutes… he finally figured it out. Over all… I am reporting this less than adequate service to my insurance company. I don’t pay umpty bucks a year for roadside service to be an «instructor» to teach the tow truck driver how to change a tire!

Good experience; courteous driver. Had to tow from Renton to Tacoma and it still cost me $ 140 even though I had roadside assistance but that’s not the tow companies fault.

Pros: The tow arrived at approximately the correct time and the car got from point A to point B successfully.
Cons: Customer Service.
My car got hit and needed to be towed. My insurance company sent this towing company (A-​Seattle Towing) to take my car to the body shop. I received a text confirmation of the time that the tow truck would arrive. This ms have been my insurance company, but it was tried nice. About 10 minutes before the truck was supposed to show up, I got a call from the drivers to figure out my location. This is where the trouble started.
I tried my best to explain where I was and how to find me. I had pulled off the road and into a parking lot when I got hit, so to be fair, my car was not the most visible from the street. The driver (or I found out, driver and assistant) did not speak much English. When I tried to explain the cross-​street, the driver laughed at me and hung up the call. I called back twice — once was rejected and the other was picked up, only to be laughed at again and told that they needed the cross-​street, which I had already done my best to explain to them using highly visible landmarks around the area where my car was located. I asked them to please work with me, and only received more laughs in return. To flag them down, I had to leave my car and walk two blocks away, then run back as they moved in the direction of my car.
When they found my car, there was no greetings or instructions for what I needed to do or information that I needed to provide; there was just an ask for keys. Okay, that’s fine. I figured that there would be paperwork for turning over the car to them, but there was nothing of that sort either. I asked if they had the correct address to take the car, and relieved a nod in return, but no confirmation where it would be going. The car was loaded and I followed it with my boyfriend to the repair shop.
At the shop, they just dropped the car wherever they wanted. The point of having it towed was not to drive it due to the damage from the accident. My boyfriend had to drive it back almost a block to the collision repair shop. After I came outside with the woman from the shop to do an initial intake assessment, the car had been moved unbeknownst to us, but when we asked the driver where the car was, they responded that they had dropped it off and it had been driven off. This made me nervous, not knowing it had been moved by my boyfriend at the time.
Over an hour later, I received another phone call from the drivers asking me if I needed a tow. I responded that I had already been towed. They kept asking me if I needed a tow and again, I responded that I had already been towed. They then asked how long previous I had been towed and I responded 45 mins to an hour.
Overall, I didn’t expect much from a towing company, but I did expect them to be professional. Especially when working with people who have just been in car accidents or other nerve wracking situations. I did not choose the company, my insurance company did. I didn’t expect to be laughed at and treated with the disrespect and disregard that I was afforded. It made a crappy situation that much worse. Two stars for the car getting to the correct location and for the tow being approximately on time, despite the negative experience.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a towing company. Edwin was extremely nice and helpful and actually showed empathy for me as a customer. he waited with me to make sure I was safe and showed he was very happy to help.
I went through my insurance company and will request this tow company any time I need it!

Very fast Service. Had my car towed from a shop to my home. Not expensive at all. Had a great convo with Rick the driver on the way home. Super nice guy that does a great job! they are the ones i Will go to whenever a tow is needed.

The lowest price I could find for towing my car. Instead of having flexible prices or having to haggle, they just keep their fees low. Good ethical practices, pleasant drives and all around good go-​to towing service in the Seattle area!

Great company with fast service and competitive rates. They came out right away and towed my car to a mechanic near my house. Safe driver and a nice rig. Satisfied with the service and the price — give these guys a call if you need a tow around the Seattle area.

They showed up on time and hooked up my car quickly. Also, they bill direct to my insurance!

I just got cut off by a driver for this company in puyallup. I stopped the car to ask him why he cut me off and he said I should have let him in. Come on, no room to merge, no blinker. He almost pushed me into a guard rail. They wont allow 0 stars.

These guys are great. We used them in a pinch to tow our u-​haul. they were prompt, professional, courteous and affordable. We didn’t need a full tow but needed help fast, they didn’t hesitate to jump in their truck and come help us out.
Certainly recommend.
