Tommy knows his stuff. He and his son figured out the problem with my Sub Zero in no time. The repair was fast and reasonably priced.

Appreciated the low down on what went wrong with my refrigerator. Service was quick and got it working within minutes. I would definitely do business with them in the future.

5 stars for working on Sunday. I will only subtract if I need to. More information to follow.

What we thought was a dead refrigerator turned out to be just a dead fan that was very quickly replaced thanks to the very prompt response by Tommy and son! What would have turned into a massive headache waiting days for a repair person by any other company (I called 5!) turned into a 30 minute, same day repair. I was given a time frame of 12:00 –2:00 for arrival and heard the doorbell ring at 12:01. They could not have been more polite, and they were super friendly with my dogs, too. A bonus in my book. Fantastic service. :)

Called Tommy back in Oct to fix my relic SubZero fridge from the 80s. He suggested a few things and we scheduled a time that week. He was running late and called ahead to inform. Took 10 minutes to run diagnosis and told me there was a lurking bigger problem but repairable — replace the heating coil as the fridge was leaking gas. Charged me $ 550 for 1.5hr job which seemed pretty expensive. Nevertheless, the fridge works fine. Recently, again the nut in the freezer section popped out and ice started to build up in the freezer box. Called him and they came out. Fixed the washer issue, explained it well and charged me $ 20. All in all, Tommy and Jordan (son) know these units well and very knowledgable. Will call him again for repair services.

Jordan (co-​owner) was very punctual and professional. Initially he diagnosed the problem as a part that needed to be replaced and only came as one large unit. He estimated that the part and labor would be $ 300-​$ 350. He was very knowledgeable about dishwashers and said it would be worth the investment for the dishwasher I have, even though it’s probably 25 years old, because new dishwashers are all electronic and if a problem occurs with those you’re looking at a much higher repair cost. (Kind of makes me wonder if I really should remodel and get all new appliances next year.)
I had resigned myself to the $ 300+ repair cost and asked if they could do the work by the following week. Then he said, ‘let me check one more thing’ and proceeded to pull a kink out of the drain hose, clamp it into place, and voila (!), the dishwasher drained! So instead of $ 300+ I paid him $ 97 and he even gave me a 2-​year warranty on it! Anyone who will put a 2-​year warranty on a 25-​year old dishwasher is pretty amazing in my book.
Another thing I’d say, is don’t judge a book by its cover. Jordan looks about 19 (and is actually only 25) but he knows his stuff!

I called Tommy @ A1 to repair my relic Sub Zero from the 1980’s. These guys are super knowledgeable and practice a dying craft of actually repairing things. It wasn’t cheap but it was much better than replacing the refrigerator.
I am writing a review because he needed to come back out for a tune up for his repair and he is doing it without charge. I found some of the other negative comments interesting.

Last week they came out to look at my Northland refrigerator. He gave me a quote to repair it $ 1300 it needs a evaporator coil replaced. In the meantime he did charge it for $ 300 and said it could last for 2 months or 2 years he could not tell. Here I am less than a week later and it’s not working again. I called to set up an appointment to see what they could do and when they could come out. But before I set a time I simply asked him several questions to which he was combative and just continued to say they did not repair it and they couldn’t tell me how long the charge would last. On and on with excuses when I was just asking simple questions. He’s apparently been in the service industry for 41years… with the way he treated me I’m not sure how! He raised his voice several times. I continued to tell him I wanted them to come out and repair it but wanted to know why they couldn’t tell me the charge would only last a few days. $ 300 for a few days is a bit ridiculous to me! By the end of the conversation he said and I quote I don’t want your business.
Oh I should mention that Tommy the young man that came out to repair made some very inappropriate comments to me and my friends about getting naked at the Solstice Parade. VERY unprofessional!
I would never call this service company again. He claims he’s the only person in all of Seattle that will work on Northland appliances. If so, I guess I’m out of luck but I’d rather purchase a new refrigerator than deal with this man. Call someone else.

My husband had called 2 other places for fridge repair before calling A1. The first 2 places told him we would have to wait 3 – 4 days for someone to come out. This wasn’t going to work for me not having a fridge for that long! Luckily, his next call was to these guys who were out in less than 3 hours after calling and had our refrigerator working again that day.
Very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. We will definitely use them again, and call them first, next time we need anything repaired in the house.

I had a problem with my subzero refrigerator/​freezer. I called several repair stores. The owner of A1 Accomplished spent 10 minutes explaining how I could diagnose and perhaps fix the problem on my own. I was very grateful. But, as it turned out, I needed new parts and and a new seal.
They charged much less than the «authorized» subzero dealer quoted me.
My wife liked him a lot– very professional and explained everything he was doing.
Previous review was an obvious miscommunication. I plan on calling him again right now to fix my dishwasher (beware of Bosch).
