Absolutely the worst parts place around. Horrible service, can’t return anything. The owner and manager can care less about customer service. They say they guarantee parts, it is not true.

Went here with my boyfriend to get an ABS module and other things for his VW Passat. First time going there they said it’d take 45 min to take it off, but my boyfriend told me it takes about 10min to take it off since he’s a technician. Came back two days later and told us that he was the one taking off the parts he needed.
Overall, I guess it’s good getting the parts yourself since you don’t pay for their labor, but at the same time it’s your own labor. One of them didn’t know what they were talking about. Customer service wise, ehh. But cool place.

Dudes, it’s a junkyard. You want them to be all polite and friendly? It’s a junkyard. Have you ever been to a chipper, friendly junkyard? I haven’t. It has the stuff you need and the prices are more or less reasonable. The extra few bucks is worth not having to drive to Arlington or some other far flung place.

If you need European car parts you might try these guys. I just got a bumper there for my old mk3 jetta. Price was great. And the staff even pulled it off the car for me, they had me out the door in minutes and now my cars back on the road cheap. Thanks Dylan and Co.

This place is horrible. I’ve been here several times and the service is just bad. They take for ever to attend to you, when there’s several «employees» in there doing nothing, but chatting with each other. The last time I went there the manager or whatever thug was there gave us an attitude for asking to buy one part for my VW.
There’s lack of professionalism and customer relations. The prices are made up on the spot, reminds me of some Craigslist transaction. I no longer go here, I’d rather pay the premium for new parts, warranty, and service.
Oh yeah and when you call expect to get someone who’s not happy about you calling. You’ll get that irritated voice from this place. And let me emphasize that when you’re given a price through the phone it is never guaranteed.

Told rep over the phone my year make and model of car and that I needed a gas pedal. Price quote over the phone was «$ 20» when I got there they charged me 4 times the amount quoted. Horrible customer service and I will not do business with again. Stay away.

I went to Absolute German today to get a transmission for my Mercedes. When I went in to pick it up I was helped quickly, the transmission was retrieved without drama and I took it home. I had been expecting the worst based on the reviews I’d read and I experienced what was a better than usual wrecking yard experience. I think that a lot of the people that have left bad reviews must have had little experience with wrecking yards. The man who helped me wasn’t super outgoing or bubbly, but neither was he rude. He was simply businesslike. That’s what I expect and it’s what I got. Also, the transmission was the cheapest I found in the PNW (indeed, in the whole USA based on the search I did) and was also the lowest miles. I see nothing here to complain about.

I have been in this crappy establishment a few times and most of you guys are right. At one point they didn’t have what I was looking for and picked up a knob for a vw stereo, instead of putting it in my pocket, I was willing to pay for it. The ugly version of Ray Liotta was behi d the counter said the part wasn’t for sale. What a douce sorry piece of crap that guy was. He is not friendly at all!!! The parts they’re selling are very expensive as if you went to the dealer itself. A message to that DOUCE behind the counter! If you don’t like your job, find something else!!!

I recently called to see if a specific car is in the yard. The employee who answered the phone was rude as hell and that’s very unprofessional.

These guys quote one price on the phone and another in person. If you call them on it, they say the other guy isn’t in right now, so they can’t confirm. Very poor customer service and they hardly have any MK2 stuff anyway. We avoid this place at all costs.

Stay away from this place the sooner it shuts down the better. They think they have a monopoly on vw’s and can charge whatever they feel. Terrible customer service other than one cool dude up front. But they act like they are doing you a favor just to help you out. Look on cs or go somewhere else for your parts.

Rip off artists! Rude employees! Had to get a part from their yard and they made me wait almost an hour while they pulled it even though I called ahead. They acted like I was annoying them just for asking for a part. Got some service done there and the used parts they put in broke withing 3 months. They also «lost» the parts they took out of my car. Avoid these guys.

Those of you that have them know, VW parts are not only hard to find but when you do find them, you usually pay an arm, leg, and kidney for them. After visiting Absolute German, I would graciously give up one of my organs if it meant never having to see or deal with that crabby man behind that very cluttered counter ever again. After the holidays, 97.4% of people are short on money. I am one of those people. My car just had to conveniently go kaput a week before Christmas. I have a 98 VW golf. Getting around under that hood is as easy as licking your own elbow while hopping on one leg and saying the ABC’s backwards. My man and his buddy were in our garage for hours when they finally figured out what was wrong. We needed a metal pipe /​hose that, from what I understand, helps get the coolant where it needs to go. We looked it up and saw that Absolute German had it. My man called to verify it and the man on the other end of the phone said they did. We headed out there to pick it up. When we got there, we walked in to the very messy and unorganized «lobby». The man behind the counter glanced up at us with a very annoyed look on his face and then when back to what he was doing. Clearing his throat a little, my guy said he had called yesterday about the part. The man said we could go out back and find the part and one of his employees would help us get it out. It clicked. Pick-​a-​part. We were suppose to dig around all the cars crammed in this little lot, find what we needed and then ask one of the men who spoke very little english to get it out for us. After of few minutes of not finding what we were looking for, we ask one of the men if they had the part. This man took the little forklift, rammed it thou the windshield of an old Audi then placed said Audi on top of another mangled car. The whole time he was muttering something in what I believe was spanish under his breathe. 45 mins later, we got the part and took it back inside to buy. Crab ass behind the counter told me $ 20 buck. I gave him my card and he ran it… for $ 21.68. I understand there is tax but would it be to much work to tell me the exact amount you were taking out of my account? I am glad they had what I needed but someone needs to give them a lesson about customer service.

Not impressed. They lied about getting my license plates mailed to me for three weeks. Three. They finally arrived two days after my last complaint, when I had been assured they «were mailed out last week» and told to «just be patient». Yeah. They were post marked a day AFTER my last phone call, and arrived ONE day later. All of this was after not being told I owed a fee, which was the initial hold up on them mailing them in the first place. Had I not called, and called and called again, I would never had received my plates (a month after the temps expired). I understand the staff isn’t paid to be friendly as they would be in an actual dealership, but this laissez-​faire attitude and general lack of customer service should shy anyone away from purchasing a car from this business.

Its a sad day when the customer has to be the one to fulfill the void of customer service! And at Absolute German there is a HUGE void! I walked into the main office to ask about a very simple part and whether the company had one. The man behind the front counter ignored me at first even though i am the only customer and he is not on the phone or dealing with anyone else, then acted as if it was a huge inconvenience that i wanted to buy something. I was the one who had be be overly polite, with many «pleases» and «thank you’s» while the guy behind the desk didn’t so much as look at me and made me feel as a customer that i was wasting his time! I asked about a part and was told to talk to someone else. Well since i clearly don’t work there, nor do i know any members of the man behind the counter’s social circle, i asked who this person was and where i could find them, again i was being very polite. The reply to my question? A one word response: «outside». The tone was rude and infuriating at the same time. This lazy overpaid joke of an employee didn’t even have the common courtesy to point me in the right direction, give me a description of the guy or anything. Again as a customer i am on my own and having to do all the leg work. The service was absolutely terrible, the parts were overpriced, and I will never visit this establishment or its pompous, arrogant, unhelpful employees a second time. I would rather use a toaster for a bath toy than deal with such terrible customer service again.
