Ace 1 Computers

I took my Computer to this place because it is a neighborhood business and they have been around for a few years. They apparently have a great deal of business doing in-​home or shop repairs. This leaves customers taking their computer (s) to their shop at the whim of a very busy schedule with little time for repairs done in their office. They often close the business for the day with small notes on the door informing customers that they will we closed for a few hours to a few days. They do not order parts for computers unless you give them 50% of the cost, and it takes a while to get them. You are better off ordering it yourself and taking the part (s) to them. They have a difficult time printing invoices and receipts and operate on cash — mostly basis. I had to frequently hound the repair person to call with an estimate of when the computer was going tone ready and he neglected to mention that the shop would be closed for 5 days. If you need a quick repair, this is not the place. If you need a timely repair, this is not the place. If it does not matter to you when you get your computer back, this is the place for you. I am sure they know this, but most people that bring in their computer would like it repaired as quickly as possible because they need it– in my case, it is tied to my business and I really needed over the weekend and did not get it because they were closed for 5 days — left a tiny note on the door. Cost is high, timing is poor and office runs very inefficiently with owner and tech unable to operate their printer to give receipts. They are technically competent but their custom service is near non-​exisitant and you can only apologize for so much before you have to simply fix the problem. While I am sure there must be a reliable computer repair place in West Seattle, it is not this place.

Moises is awesome! I am a busy court reporter living in West Seattle, and when my computer crashed on me, Moises was able to retrieve all of my files and load them into a new computer right away. Not only is he knowledgeable in his field but he is a super nice guy! Keep up the great work. Highly recommend this company… and Moises!

I recently moved to West Seattle and in the chaos of moving, I accidentally dropped my MacBook. It wouldn’t turn on and made a horrific revving sound. I was absolutely mortified because as a law student, my entire life was pretty much on my laptop and I was absolutely sure all my information was gone. I made an appointment at the Apple Store but because I’m impatient, anxious and frantic, I decided to run across the street to this little computer shop just to get a quick idea of what might be wrong with my computer.
My experience at Ace 1 computers was phenomenal. A young man named Moises helped me out, and not only did his services exceed my expectations, he was a perfect gentlemen. He’s one of those people you meet and want to say «your mama raised you right». Moises fixed my laptop almost immediately, recovering all the information, educating me on the process and giving me tips on how to take care of my laptop. Because it was a quick fix, Moises fixed my laptop free of charge!
Ace 1 saved me a painful hour at the Apple Store and almost $ 200 in expenses. They were also so funny, professional, and good at their jobs! This is my new favorite place and I’m totally going to start sending people here with there laptop problems.

Great experience. The replaced the glass on my 27″ Apple Thunderbolt display and got my Apple Mac Pro working again, (as well as uploaded a new operating system for me). Very helpful and kept up on communicating during the process (needed to order parts). Price was VERY friendly. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

I needed a mouse pad, they didn’t have any in stock for sale, but the guy working just gave me the one from his desk.
Extremely nice and will defiantly have my future business!

I had a great experience with Ace 1. Really good prices for their services (about ½ of what another local computer shop was going to charge), and they worked fast. I will be going back!
