I get the BEST service here. I used to work for Ann Taylor of Downtown Seattle, but I honestly prefer shopping at the U Village location. Kelly, Josepha, & Kelsey always treat me just as the customer I am even though I have worked for the company — I love the people that work here and their passion for customer service! I do not miss working for the company but I do miss the clothing so I shop here often and love when these three are helping me find what I need!

After reading all the terrible reviews posted about Ann Taylor’s customer service, I was a little intimidated. However, I was in need of a business wardrobe update and banana, j crew, and gap are all too casual these days. So I checked out the university village store. It was great, I went in, took advantage of a great 60% off sale and had great service. The sales associate checked on me regularly but didn’t pressure me to buy anything or tell me I looked good in something I didn’t. I left very pleased with some fashionable picks that I wouldn’t have necessarily picked out without some help.

It would be better if there’s negative ratings available for them. I would say that their service is the most terrible one in Seattle. The manager and other staff are really rude, show no respect to customers including talking down to customers, ignoring your questions and finding different excuses to refuse change/refund the items people already bought. We heard so many people complain about their service around. The clothing at Ann Taylor is really good, but it would be much better if they really improve their service or at least communication skills.

Kelsey, you are so rude to the customer. You need people’s skill. I am not sure how old you are but my impression is you are spoiled 5 years old girl who dose not have ideas other people exists around you. Rolling eyes is not helping. I am very sorry for your parents coz how you grow up just like you now. Also I am not sure your name is Kelsey but if right please do not ask your customer«may I help you?» If you are not meaning. I would not come back your store anymore. Other employee were very nice but because of you I made rate 1 star.

I would give zero stars if it were an option. The manager with the brown hair, mole on her face, tall and large-set is snotty, rude, and talks down to customers. When I wanted to try a bunch of items she acted like I was a shoplifter, would only let me try on a limited amount(even though there was clearly room for more) and wouldn’t let me try anything else until I traded it for something else. Oh, and demanded the hanger as well. I have never felt so disrespected in a store. I finally walked out without purchasing because I was so insulted and went to the J. Crew there instead — where the staff was friendly, checked in me just frequently enough that I felt taken care of but not like I was being watched like a hawk. Oh and the sales girl at J. Crew offered me bottled water while I was there because I took a whole to make my decision. There are plenty of other Ann Taylors in the area, and my experiences there have always been enjoyable. But I will never go back to the one in the U Village.

One of the worst locations of one of the worst retailers. Beautiful, well made clothing yes. Customer service — NO. During one visit, all clerks at the store were too busy chatting with each other(or in one case, the clerks boyfriend) to help any customers. They also provide service to only select few customers(the shopping scene from Pretty Woman comes to mind), I assume the customers that fit their ‘profile”. The company, overall, has possibly the worst customer service attitude of any large or small retailer. While I LOVE their clothes, I will not return.
