An elegant and tasty dining opportunity with ravishing dishes and a formal environment. Enjoyed my time spent here, the staff was pleasant and attentive.

I was looking forward to having lunch at the Seattle Waterfront. The parking was plentiful at the Seattle Art Institute Parking lot and free(with validation). We were seated by the window and the view was good. I ordered the Fishermen’s Catch, and it was OK. The only item that I could taste the freshness was the cod. The wild salmon was a bit dry. We ended up spending $ 80 for three people for lunch. The food was ok but definitely not worth the cost.

I popped into this location of the PNW Anthony’s empire for a quick lunch with some colleagues. Apparently, there is a whole slew of Anthony’s restaurants across SEA and other PNW locales, and the Bell Street Diner is one of their«casual» eateries, in the same building as Anthony’s Pier 66 and Anthony’s Fish Bar. Set facing the Seattle Waterfront, the Bell Street Diner(actually on Alaskan Way) has a lot of family-friendly options and is just an average spot for a quick lunch or some drinks, but it didn’t feel as «special» as other more upscale Anthony’s locations. We sat at the bar for our lunch, so we were able to enjoy nice waterfront views as well as attentive bar service. They weren’t too busy on this particular weekday at lunch, but they do accept reservations. You’ll find all kinds of seafood on their lunch menu, from shellfish to fish, prepared in many ways, from nachos to salads to tacos to soups and chowders to pasta. There’s a little something for everyone, but be advised if you absolutely won’t eat anything from the water, that your only options are a Kobe beef burger or a sesame chicken salad. There aren’t any vegan options here, unless you opt for one of their salads sans fish/chicken. Now that we’re past that, I gravitated towards the chargrilled mahi mahi taco and chowder. Unfortunately, they had only flour tortillas, not the corn tortillas that I prefer for tacos, but the fish was tender and not too salty. It was served with tomatoes and cilantro, and no cheese or cream sauce, which I appreciated. The chowder was rich, warm, and satisfying — it’s touted as «award-winning» and is Manhattan-style, so it’s not cream-based. There are many options here in the«stuff that swims» department, so it could be a solid local chain to return to for casual seafood dining, but the prices seemed more along the lines of the«fancier» Anthony’s location, whether you’re here for lunch or dinner, so don’t expect«diner”-style prices or portions.

Had their salmon sandwich. It was fresh but the flavor combinations needed something. Best option in the airport for sure.

Ate here with friends during a break from the Northwest Chocolate Fest a few weeks back. Yeah, it’s a bit too pricey for what you get, but the food’s solid, and if you’re attending an event at the Bell St Pier, you’ll be glad it’s here. Also, service was friendly.

I actually thought I was at Anthony’s Pier 66 and didn’t realize I wasn’t until after I ordered. I ordered the halibut, it was fresh, light and flaky and very good but nothing outstanding. It may be that my expectations were a little high coming from Phoenix to Seattle and expecting mind blowing seafood. I think I need to do a little more research next time to find the true local’s seafood stop.

Great drinks but the wait staff here needs to take lessons from Ryan T, who served us Fri nite. We went back Sat n Sun because my friends love the peach vodka drink they serve and both days the bar staff were unpleasant, irritable, and smiles were non existent.

The location makes this place. You’re right on the waterfront. The actual food was nothing special. It was good, but not memorable. The shrimp cocktail was a little disappointing. I don’t think the shrimp was fresh at all. The salmon was quite good. Burnt Cream was trying to be Crème Brulee and just not hitting the mark. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place.

Terrible food and terrible service. What a terrible waste of time! I don’t usually leave a one be side usually there are a few good things about a place. Pro Nice views Not too hard to find parking for the waterfront Cons Everything else. The food was not good. We ordered the red clam chowder. It tasted nothing like chowder or clams. It looked like someone had thrown everything they couldn’t use for the day into a bowl of tomato soup. The prices of vegetables were so small and I couldn’t distinguish clams of anything for that matter. The fisherman’s catch platter was greasy, soggy, and cold. The«light tempura» was not light and all of it was soggy and without taste. Really was a disappointment. And the waiter… We wanted to slap him! He was either the stupidest guy you could find(probably not cause he wouldn’t get the job) or the laziest which was more likely. He was slow, and service was just bad. We would order something and if would show up 20 minutes later. We ordered sodas and he brought out two on a tray, one of them was so light in color I assumed it wasn’t for us and was a drink with whiskey for another table. But then he put it down on our table. We asked what it was, he said coke. We just stared at him… We told him obviously something was wrong(clearly the syrup was out) and this isn’t normal«oh really» he says! Finally he takes the soda and comes back a few minutes later and says, sorry you were right and that he never drinks coke so he wouldn’t know. Apparently it was his first time serving a coke too. He only came to check on us at the end and offered a refill when I had finished ten minutes before(I could never flag him down for a refill because he was never around) and it took another ten minutes to get it. When I finally got it I was paying the bill and we were trying to get the hell out of the place. At one point we asked for some marinara sauce and it took so long we just decided to eat without if. After about 15 minutes he comes out with this huge bowl(bigger than our soup bowl) of sauce and said, sorry they had to make it. At this point I just wanted to burst out laughing and say and what they hell do you expect us to do with this tub of marinara sauce 15 min after we asked? Maybe he was high, but his ridiculous behaviors and terribly behavior force me to give a 1. Never going there again. Stupidly we went it without first consulting Unilocal

I was in Seattle for work in November. Came here, had the lobster fettuccine, and couldn’t stop thinking about it. Back in town tonight, stopped in for dinner and was not disappointed. Service is absolutely phenomenal. The lobster fettuccine was just as amazing as it was last time. This place is a real gem.

We stopped in because the spouse remembered a good place in San Diego from 30+ years ago with the same name. Turns out no connection. This seems to be a Washington state chain. I’m guessing it’s tourist place. The food was good. The service was great. Food seemed a tad on the salty side. I had the Wild Salmon dish that is their specialty. It was delicious. Spouse had the recommended crab cakes. They were OK. I would say this is a solid restaurant with a perfect location. Didn’t eat in the casual dinner part or the fish bar. The Anthony’s at the airport was pretty good as well. We stopped there for a last seafood supper before wheels up time at the gate.

I went here for happy hour with a friend and it has to be one of my favorite place! There are plenty of drinks and food varieties to choose from the happy hour menu. The portions are also great. My favorite would be the mussels & mashers! The pan fried oysters were ok. A bit tiny and you mostly ate the breading than the actual oyster. Happy hour goes until 7pm so that’s a plus! It’s good to not have to rush out of work to catch happy hour!!!

Surprisingly decent seafood lunch right by the water. It’s just past the aquarium and walking distance from Pike, with a lunch menu of specials that aren’t too bad. Food was pretty good. Interior is nice and upscale, modern décor in the bathroom and bar area. We were seated around the corner across from the round table for large groups, apart from most other customers and with a good view of the water. Ordered a large bowl of the clam chowder and a side of asparagus. My guy got the cioppino special with a side Caesar, and also asparagus. Our friend accompanying us got the exact same thing. All of us dove face first into our food– it was all surprisingly good. Located in a place that probably gets a lot of tourist business, this place still delivers with fresh taste. The cioppino was a good sized portion and had good flavor, we were brought sriarcha to add to spice it up. The caesar salad was fresh, crunch, and not overdressed. My clam chowder was filling and had ample pieces of meaty clam, and a good overall flavor that wasn’t bland or flat as at other places here in town. The asparagus though was the surprise star– at $ 1.50/side, it’s a good 12 or so spears to an order and well-priced considering what other places charge. Cooked in olive oil and with light seasoning, it was fresh and hot, and flavored lightly enough to still shine as simple, fresh produce.

Happy hour ends at 7pm which will give you plenty of time to order second and third rounds or even just getting here with all the traffic. The best deal on the HH menu is the Kobe burger $ 5. What a steal, although they are skimpy on the fries. Who needs those extra carbs anyways?! The oyster shooters are great for sharing and downing with HH drinks. For HH dessert my fave is the baked almond crusted cherry and local vanilla ice cream. There’s something about that amaretto combination that make my taste buds sing! Great views of the waterfront activities and the Olympic Mountains especially when the sun is setting. When it’s warm sit on their patio. If this locale my seems a little bit out of the way and you need to drive to get here, do it! They validate parking, giving you more than you’ll need. The parking garage is connected to the sky bridge near the diner. Check the website parking address.

As beautiful as this place is and as beautiful as the view is from where you sit… this place really isn’t all that amazing. The location of course is gorgeous, especially on a beautiful sunny day like it was yesterday when I went. You sit on the dock and view the marina full of boats and can view the mountains in the background. Gorgeous. I am sure the view is partly what you are paying for when you pay for those higher priced meals. The meals are incredibly overpriced. I have been to my share of nice restaurants and know what quality tastes like, this Anthony’s just does not provide that. We first started out with the coconut prawns as an appetizer priced at almost $ 11 for four small shrimp, the salmon poke and oysters. I do not recall the price on the latter two appetizers but I assume they were over priced. All of the appetizers were delicious though! I loved the oysters and the shrimp. The poke had great flavor. As far as our entrees go, we all ordered a seafood entrée and found that the portions were very small and again over priced. My ciopinno was very salty and not very flavorful. The crab cakes were just full of pure crab and fried, same with the halibut cakes. The halibut that my boyfriend got was alright, they didn’t put much effort into the entrée. The fish was just covered with cheese and roasted. Meh. The service was great though, we had an amazing waiter and he was very knowledgable and helpful. But I am not going to go back again.

We went to Anthony’s Bell Street Diner while in Seattle for work. The food was amazing… I’m actually surprised by the relatively low review scores… and the outside deck made for a very pleasant dining experience. We got there early so we were able to take part in their sunset dinner menu — appetizer, soup or salad, entrée, and dessert. I had seen the salmon cakes online and wanted to try them. First pass of the sunset dinner menu I had missed them, so once I found them I decided that was the way to go. The appetizer I chose was the salmon croccantini and it was excellent. Warm salmon over a cracker with spread. I felt bad for the waiter as he dropped one off the plate as he approached the table. He left the plate and said, «I owe you one more.» I thought it was odd that he was going to bring back another plate with one, but he brought back a second full order. The order and a half was excellent for sharing. The clam chowder was average. The salmon cakes more than made up for it. They were excellent, and the sauce was great. The sides were fine, nothing special, but with the 4 courses and the excellent salmon cakes, I didn’t really care. I chose the Bailey’s chocolate mousse for the dessert and it was very good. My only complaint about the dinner was the beers were not very cold. They had an excellent craft brew selection, I just wish either of the two I tried had been chilled a bit more. Great ocean view, excellent food, and a nice early dinner special menu made for an excellent night out.

Service was a little slow, the prices on the bill were a dollar more each item than the menu reflected. They corrected it but be sure to double check your bill! Outside seating was nice with big umbrellas at each table. Decent beer and wine list several local ones to choose from. Food was ok. I had the clams, and my husband had the burger. They should have a smaller portion cheaper lunch menu. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on the other side of the rope. They take reservations but cannot guarantee a seat on the deck.

Three stars is right on for Anthony’s Bell Street Diner. The hostess was very nice and the service was nice. I came here because of the outdoor happy hour and I know Anthony’s has a good happy hour on food and drinks. Drafts are $ 3.50, 7 oz. wine pours are $ 5, spiked lemonade $ 5.50. All great drink specials. I ordered the shrimp cocktail shooters(6 for $ 5) and a bottomless strawberry rhubarb lemonade. I love their lemonade. The shrimp cocktail on the menu looked like prawns in cocktail sauce– like a typical shrimp cocktail. What actually arrived was small shrimp mixed with cocktail sauce and chopped up celery as a filler. It was not that great. The shrimp didn’t taste very good. It was a bit fishy. Although it is served in a very cute crab shaped holder the product is not very good. I thought the server might comment that I only picked at a few of the shooters but she did not. Where they seat you for outside happy hour doesn’t have a view. Or maybe it does when there isn’t a cruise ship docked. Regardless, there was no water view when I was there which was the main reason I stopped in. Oh well. I would return but wouldn’t order the shrimp again. They should change the graphic on their happy hour menu so it reflects the actual item. They do have great drink specials during happy hour though so I recommend getting drinks!
