I shipped 4 paintings with them. Each was individually wrapped and crated. They were easy to contact, they gave a prompt and accurate estimate, returned calls, and shipped my items with in the time period that we agreed upon.
When my shipment arrived the items were placed where I asked. They hung one of the paintings in a careful and precise manner. The gentlemen were much pickier than I was about the placement of the painting. I felt comfortable with the skill and ability of the gentlemen they sent to my home.
Stephanie Schmidt (sp) was my rep in Seattle. She did a great job representing Artech and the services provided.
This service was a value for the price.

After an incompetent mover damaged a 5’x5’ painting by putting a mattress on top of it, these guys made it right. Highly recommended.

Be forewarned — do not use these guys!!! They have the worst service in town!!!
I took my print to this shop to be stretched and framed, BIG MISTAKE!!!
First issue: the delivery date started at 3 weeks which turned into 7 weeks and turned back into 5 weeks. Could not get the time estimate correct.
Second issue: completely skewed the stretching during the framing, had to be re-​mounted. Did not even bother checking their work. it was so obvious that the minute the wrapping came off the defect was immediately noticeable.
Third issue: Found a print defect that they noticed before starting the work, would of been very very nice to know about the defect before taking my money and doing the work. But they will replace it with a new one that I purchase and of course charge for labor & materials.
All in all, steer away from these guys unless you have some high end work that will require their better workers or just simply go to the Framery on 4^th ave across from Uptown, never had a problem with them and they do great work.
