Solid venue to rent out for celebration, community meetings, festivals, fund raisers and playing basketball for recreational or leagues.
Asian Resource Center is home to many organizations and a place for teens to come play some basketball without getting in trouble.
I was here last weekend for a celebration for Lao New Year and it was the perfect venue for so many people while getting awareness and fun for all. The community embraces this location as a landmark as Dennis S mentioned.
The only negative is the limited parking space but at least it has a parking space for being in Chinatown.

This is my Unilocal review on Asian Resource Center (ARC), a Seattle landmark for many people, especially those in the Asian community.
I’ve been to countless events, held by various organizations, at ARC. I’ve also played basketball with different groups of friends at ARC. ARC is the SUV of facilities; it can and has house most any event.
ARC has a small parking lot so parking is limited. Some people will gripe about this but you have to keep in mind that it’s in Chinatown which is in the heart of Seattle and not out in the boonies. Parking will always be scarce in the city. Be creative about transportation to functions at ARC. Perhaps you can carpool, take the bus, or put your Nikes to work. But once you get to ARC I’m sure you’ll have a good time, as evidenced by the shiny, happy photos that you’ve posted posted on
and Facebook throughout the years.

Just went here for the first time a few days ago for a basketball game. It’s one of the courts the Puget Sound Basketball League uses for their games. Parking is a little limited and narrow spaces! Other than that, a pretty typical basketball court and nice and clean. Easy to then get some Chinese food afterwards in the Intl’ District! :-)

Staff nice. Venue was clean. It was located in the community. High praises for this place. Go through your next event here!

Downside: sometimes the floor is really slick due to a party the night before.

This is a funny place that I’m not sure what it normally houses??? I’ve been there at least 4 or 5 times for school auctions and it is a really great rental space. I think it is highly affordable. Has a nice stage and big open room which lends itself to decoration. Nice entry/​foyer for registration, greeting, etc. Put on your list to check out if you’re planning a budget event OR a school auction! DOWNFALL (actually pitfall) — TERRIBLE PARKING.
