This is the best pretzel there is! So many different varieties of freshly made warm, pillowy pretzels I can never decide. The staff are always so nice — there’s a girl named Mary who is AMAZINGLY sweet. I don’t know how the Wetzels can survive with this deliciousness just a few doors down.

The pretzels here are just amazing. Very soft and warm with bite size pieces. Becomes addicting especially with the cheese sauce. Worth getting if you’re on the go and looking for a to go snack! :)

Normally, I’m not a huge fan of pretzels but something about this place just works for me. Could be that it’s the perfect snack while getting some shopping done and fills you up just enough to keep you from making a trip to the food court. I usually get the sour cream and onion or the almond with caramel although sometimes just a plain pretzel hits the spot just as well. As an added bonus, they also have Icee’s!

This Auntie Anne’s is a hit or miss. Sometimes the pretzels are really good because they’re nice and hot. But other times I feel like they’ve been sitting out for quite a while. The Asian old man cashier was not very friendly, no smile or how’s your day going. I would recommend getting the cinnamon and sugar pretzel. I think it taste the best and it’s pretty affordable at $ 3.59 for a soft pretzel, although one pretzel is 470 calories.

Auntie Anne’s is definitely a mall-shopping staple and the superior pretzel shop of its kind. This location is a favorite of mine — always fast and friendly service and I’ve never had a bad pretzel come out of their oven. Definitely recommend stopping by while you’re shopping.

We go for the $ 1 pretzels on Tuesdays, which coincidentally seem to be stuck on the almond pretzels for the last several times… regardless, they smell great and taste good enough for a buck each. The only reason why I’ve dropped it from a 5-star? An older gentleman by the name of Yui works as the cashier every Tuesday. And sadly, he has no idea what customer service means. Today, I noticed a large batch of freshly baked pretzels being placed behind the 2 remaining from the previous batch. I kindly asked for 2 pretzels from the very back. After a simple question, I was unexpectedly bombarded with excuses and questions in return. «I don’t want to break the pretzels. They’re all hot anyway. They’re selling like crazy. Why don’t you come back in 30 minutes if you want to wait until the ones in the front are taken?» Needless to say, I was fuming as I left with my pretzels. Nice representation of your franchise, Yui. Fingers crossed you get replaced by someone who knows the meaning of politeness.

I worked in the mall for a year and a half, and I got to know the owners of this Auntie Anne’s — they’re an older couple, and one or the other of them(or both) are usually there. They have a rotating staff of young minions, none of whom last long. The woman is pretty hilarious once you become a regular, even though people tend to be put off by her attitude at first, and she seems to enjoy barking orders at her teenage underlings. The pretzels themselves are not that good, and are pricey for their size. You have to understand that I grew up on Costco pretzels and these do not even remotely compare. Those are like half the price and three times the size, and better. But I have a guilty pleasure — the pretzel dogs and the cinnamon sugar nuggets. Om nom nom. I like the almond pretzel, too. Avoid the flavored lemonades — they’re not good. Very… syrupy syrup that doesn’t integrate well and is very fake tasting.

I used to love the original pretzel here — so simple, the perfect combo of bready, buttery, and salty tastes. No need to dip it in anything. Now? Flavorless, except for the salt. It reminded me of a tough hamburger bun. With salt. It could have been an off day, but with the startling leap in prices(now well over $ 3), I don’t imagine giving them another shot anytime soon. Perhaps I could give my other old favorite, the cinnamon sugar, a shot — but the fall of the original is disappointing indeed, and for grab-n-go sweets at that price I’d probably be happier elsewhere. Like See’s.

It always smells good when I walk by, and since it was $ 1 Tuesday I thought I’d get one. Garlic pretzel: stay away! It’s just a ton of salty garlic powder dumped on a spindly little pretzel. I mean, it was a dollar, but still. I guess I’m used to the mall we had at home with a Pretzelmaker in it. Nothing can compare. I’ll give Aunt Anne’s another shot with a less gross pretzel, but Pretzelmaker still has my stomach.

Quality of actual products is ok. I have a friend who works in this mall, and only go here when I have a coupon, because otherwise they are too expensive. This one woman is always there, I suspect she’s the owner. She argues with me EVERY time. This location also has a posted sign saying they won’t punch your card for $ 1.00 Tuesdays, even though I went to Alderwood Mall and they offered me a card and punched it last Tuesday! Another thing: my friend asked for her mall discount, the guy charged her debit card full price, then entered the discount into the register. They kept .32 cents. It only came out because I told her to get a receipt, the guy knew exactly why we wanted it, but was just hoping we wouldn’t notice I guess… That woman I mentioned, opened the register and gave my friend .31 cents, without a word of apology or anything! So they still ripped her off for a penny! Avoid this location unless you’re desperate is my review. So sad.

I always have to stop here to grab a pretzel to munch on while my boyfriend shops at Gamestop. My favorite is the pepperoni pretzel! Their pretzels are pretty pricey but they offer stamp cards and also they have double stamp days and other deals during the week so you quickly work your way to your free pretzel!

I LOVE the pretzels here. I could have just eaten a giant breakfast and if I happen to be at Northgate Mall I will grab a pretzel regardless. They are always warm and soft with the right amount of salt and I always get it with the cheese sauce. I haven’t really tried any of the other flavors because I am a traditionalist… plain with mustard or cheese sauce is the way to go. How can you not come here… the smell alone of buttery goodness should lure you in. As a matter of fact I have a punch card that gives me a free pretzel! I think I am going to stop by here after work. woohoo!

Auntie Anne’s is the best homemade item in the mall. How do you know it’s homemade? You get to watch them make pretzels all day. They have a WIDE variety of flavors and the staff is usually helpful Why just 4 starts? They charge a FULL coke price for refills.

My guilty pleasure when I’m at the mall. You can literally smell the buttery goodness from a mile away and it draws you in. So simple, yet so delicious. Unsalted and plain is the way to go, none of that overwhelming saltiness that completely masks the flavor of the dough. Seriously, it doesn’t get much better than this for a quick snack while you’re in the middle of a shopping run. The simplicity rocks.

Pretty tasty stuff. A Little overpriced but they usually have a deal going where a certain pretzel is $ 1. One time my daughter and I tried that one. It was an onion and garlic I think… OMG that thing was so salty! We had to wipe half the STUFF off of it so we could eat it! But their sweet pretzels are very good so I guess I’ll know to stick to those in the future!

I wanted Cinnabon but always out on what I wanted. Then I saw Auntie Anne’s and tried something new and different. Yummy. I gave a good rating.

This has been day 2 of me becoming a a pretzel seeking addict. I have never in my life had a desire for a pretzel at the mall. NEVER. But walking by yesterday at Alderwood Mall the smell overtook me. I ended up getting a jalapeño pretzel with the spicy cheese sauce and this fast food loving monster I didn’t know hibernated inside me overtook me and I was scrounging to get the last drops of processed cheese out of the plastic container. Then today at Northgate Mall I found myself searching the mall directory to find Auntie Anne’s Pretzels. That is when I discovered the pretzel dog, I have never even had a corndog and never realized such a thing as a pretzel dog existed… I don’t even remember the last time I ate a hotdog! But before I knew it they were offering to make me a custom Pretzel Dog with the jalapeño dough I loved so much the day before. So today I experienced a Jalapeño Pretzel Dog which I «had» to dip in the spicy cheese sauce… The memory of those darn pretzels is haunting me 10 hours later… I am worse then a heroin addict and can’t wait to get to the mall for my next fix.

5 stars for how delicious these are… minus 1 star for price BUT… they do discount for AAA members and get a punch card as some days are double punch days and you can earn free pretzels. Yum.

Oh, the smell of pretzels wafting through the hallways of the mall by Auntie Anne’s. I crave the sweet flavor of a cinnammon and sugar pretzel, tearing the soft dough off in delectable bites, then licking my fingers for that one last taste of heaven. Oh how good.
