Amazing flavor. I recommend the spicy pork above all others, though all are tasty. I’ve had the tacos(3 is a good number) and the burritos. Sweet and somewhat spicy, the flavor is just unreal. The service is great, both employees who have taken my order have been all smiles. Check their schedule on their website for where to find them. I catch them on Wednesdays by the Seattle public library. Highly recommend. Enjoy.

I grew up eating Korean food, and while I applaud them for starting a Korean fusion food truck, it’s clear they’re not trying that hard to put out good food. The bulgogi was way too sweet and the meat quality very low. Tiny scraps hidden in a burrito. And since when does cheese go in Korean food? I did like that they offered brown rice, but next time I’d probably opt for a bulgogi bowl rather than a burrito. Hard pass; not as good as the other food trucks nearby.

I could eat this everyday it was so good! I had this for the first time at Optimism Brewing in Capitol Hill, and ordered the bowl, tacos, and the little fried appetizer. The flavors were spot on and just the right amount of spice. The two guys working the truck were very friendly and because it was raining outside offered to text me when my order was ready. It only took about 5 minutes. I hope to run into this food truck again and think it’s as good as some of the other brick and mortar Korean fusion restaurants if not better! Yum-a-rama!

Good! Friendly staff! They use bean paste hot sauce instead of throwing rooster sauce on it.

Great flavors on the fixings of the bibimbap burrito. It is a little too rice heavy, and overall fairly small for the food truck price tag.

Had the bibimbop burrito with a fried egg, brown rice, and beef. The food was yummy, the portion size was fairly big and service was friendly. The long line during lunch shows you that this place is popular and people keep coming back, for good reason!

They had the best Tacos I’ve ever had, Mexican & Korean mixed together? Yes please! It was so good that I actually walked back to get seconds! The worker that was taking my order was really polite & friendly! I live in Tacoma but I would actually consider taking the drive up to Seattle just to find this truck! I’m so glad I stumbled upon this food truck while at the night market last night!

I tried this at the Seattle Street Food Festival and it was awesome. The spicy Pork Bulgogi Burrito was fantastic and my friends said the Bibimbap Burrito was great as well. I’ll definitely be back soon to try out more of the food on the menu.

I don’t know what I expected from a Korean Mexican fusion burrito but it certainly wasn’t the pile of goo I put in my mouth. What a hot mess, literally. I tried out Bomba Fusion at the street food festival in South Lake Union on August 15. Admittedly, I was in the mood for Mexican and I just glanced at the first two items posted on the truck which read Tacos and then Burritos. The rest was covered by the mob of people waiting for their food. The line was long, but I thought it would move fast because isn’t that the point of a food truck? I waited for about a half hour before I finally realized the Bibimbap on the menu and was like, say whaaaat? By this time I was starving and already invested so I decided to continue to wait(BIG mistake) and ended up going with the spicy pork burrito since I figured that was the most safe. After waiting for an hour and and 15 minutes(so not exaggerating), I finally got handed my sorry excuse for a burrito. It contained way too much soggy white rice, very little veggies, and then some spicy pork that resembled spicy sloppy joe. Like EW. Can I get that with a side of Pepto please?

Good food. Real authentic tasting Asian flavors. The price is higher but that’s expected from a food truck. The only big negative is the long wait time. They need to better prepare the food for shorter wait times. Recommend the spicy pork burrito. Korean food in a wrap.

Bomba nacho chips weren’t that good. Nothing really special. I think that I could have made a better one myself at home.

Had the bibimbap tofu burrito. It was amazing and you get to pick the spiciness level of the burrito. Love the idea of combining bibimbap into the burrito. Also, you get a free egg with that! Must try it out!

I had their spicy tofu burrito. When i had a bite, i had a feeling that this is not tofu. I have not eaten meat for over 5 years and i could tell the taste is not tofu and i was suspecting it’s spicy pork. So i brought the burrito to the counter, showed them meat parts of burrito, and asked them if they are sure this is tofu. They said yes. they are sure its tofu. So i took another bite and i actually saw pork meat from the burrito. the texture and flavor wasn’t tofu it was 100% pork. At that point, i didn’t want to bring it again and ask them again because they already told me its tofu. And it was at festival, they were busy having big line. I just throw away my burrito. I am pretty upset that I ate small amount of meat because of their fault and they couldn’t even tell whether their food is tofu or pork. I mean they are pretty taste, but it seems like this is not safe spot for vegetarians.

I had the Spicy Pork Burrito. They used ground pork for the bulgogi = lame The pork seemed to be mixed down with tofu or something to extend it = lame The burrito was small. The flavors were on the bland. This is what gives food labeled«fusion» a bad rap. Fuse 2 poorly executed cuisines into 1. Not good Korean bulgogi or a good Mexican burrito. I will not be returning.

The Bomba Fusion truck offers Korean-Mexican fusion food. I had the bibimbap burrito, which consisted of bibimbap(rice, greens, bean sprouts, carrots, beef, all the other bibimbap fixins’) inside of a tortilla. You get a choice of white or brown rice and I chose brown. It was good, but it was served at slightly above room temperature, and I would have appreciated if it was warmer. And spicier too; both Korean and Mexican cuisine is spicy so I expected more kick? They included picked jalepenos on the side, but I don’t like picked jalepenos so I tossed them. I think they also had hot sauce for self-serve at the truck but I didn’t get any. I really wanted to try the Bomba Rotato, but they were out of it! Next time.

The past month or so, I’ve been excited to see more and more Korean/Korean-fusion restaurants and food trucks pop up in Seattle. Bomba Fusion is another such member of the food truck family with dishes inspired by Korean and Mexican cuisine. Temporarily parked across from Westlake Center, Bomba Fusion’s menu is pretty straightforward: tacos, burritos, nachos, hurricane potatoes and bibimbap. Even with a simple menu, my friend and I can be pretty indecisive at times and had a hard time choosing what to get. After much deliberation, I ended up ordering the: –Bibimbap burrito with spicy pork and egg($ 9.30) — Their«secret» menu item, the bibimbap burrito is exactly what you’d expect — bibimbap wrapped up in a tortilla. I appreciated that it makes an already easy lunch even more convenient by wrapping it up in a tidy, neat burrito. My only comment is that it wasn’t as spicy as I expected — I wonder if we can customize the spiciness level? One downside is that a few menu items were sold out even before they opened — I had really wanted to try their Bomba Rotato(the hurricane potato), but it wasn’t available this time around. :(The people working at the food truck were also friendly, nice and efficient — from my observations, it seemed kind of like a family business? Anyways, it was worth the detour, and I’ll definitely have to keep an eye on this food truck. Gotta try that hurricane potato! :P

I was looking around the food trucks downtown for a yummy lunch and found exactly what I wanted in Bomba Fusion! The food Asian-Mexican fusion, and the meat used is the best part. I had the beef bulgogi burrito and the beef tasted like it was marinated over night and super flavorful. Definitely a good lunch choice!!!
