Maybe the most underrated brunch spot in north seattle! The fireball french toast and biscuits & gravy are the best!

Great bartenders, strong drinks, great food Monday thru Thursday. Friday Saturday Sunday is probably good also but I haven’t ate on those days. They have a 2:00 thru 4:00 happy hour. I highly recommend this place

Solid dive bar, for north Seattle especially. Small, calm, generally pleasant. 8 rotating-ish taps, solid bar food with stupidly large portions. 2 pool tables, juke box,(classic and old ass) cigarette dispenser. Clearly they have a few regulars, most of which are fine, some of which are douchey(re: nearby business employees). I’ll be back.

I REALLY like this place! It’s a total down to earth, neighborhood dive bar and I LOVE it! We’ve watched some Seahawks games here and it’s such a BLAST! Everyone is so enthusiastic and friendly! During one game we came in and the place was packed, but one of the waitresses was SO super kind and helpful and she helped us find space around the pool table! They have great drinks and cider options! My overall FAVORITE thing there is their nachos! A-MAZING! As I’ve mentioned in some of my previous posts I love nachos and have kind of high standards regarding nachos. Well, these are my current favorite nachos! My boyfriend and I have gone there at least 3 times specifically for the nachos(and the chill atmosphere and people). The portions are huge and it’s a great value for your money. The nachos have so much on them(they don’t skimp on putting lots of stuff on the nachos). I HIGHLY recommend checking out this place and ordering nachos!

This is a place, «where everybody knows your name.» Everyone, staff and customers included, are friendly and helpful. The mornings have some colorful characters, so if your up for some stories, show up at 11:00AM. You might as well have breakfast. The eggs benedict: yum. The drinks are cheap with good food to go with it. They’ve recently updated the TVs so there are 9 or 10 big flat-screens. It is a bar, so no kids. They have lots of parking, but people double park. The bartenders are good about finding who parked behind you, so no worries. It’s listed as a Dive Bar, but, while the décor isn’t fancy, it’s doesn’t have that feel.

Stiff drinks, prompt service and a quick stumble home from this joint gets it high marks. Even when the bar is packed you won’t be waiting long. Just be sure to not wear your Oregon Ducks gear. This is Husky territory. I learned my lesson… No I didn’t. Keep staring, mutts.

Friendly neighborhood place with a fascinating slice-of-life clientele and good bartenders who quickly treat you like a regular. Interesting selection of specialty cocktails, some that are riffs on classics(try the Legendary Manhattan) and some like the Strawberry Lemonade that drink like summer in a glass no matter what time of year. Pretty typical bar menu of quick eats(burgers, pizzas, various appetizers and happy-hour options) that’s about to undergo a redesign(as of early September 2015) — I’ll update this review after that happens.

This is a classic divey bar that has excellent service and the some the best greasy food you’ll find. It has an odd charm to it too. My only grievance is with one bartender in particular. One time I got looked at and ignored while just trying to pay my bill. That has only happened with one girl though, and she is pretty consistently rude if you aren’t a recognized regular. Everyone else is really nice, attentive, helpful, and anticipates your food and drink needs. Overall, it’s a cool place to hang out and drink but I also wouldn’t say it’s for everyone.

Only been here a couple of times. It’s a total regulars bar and everyone seems very nice. Our food came fast and oh boy their breakfast is yummy. Will be a repeating customer

Breakfast in a bar? It was so worth it! Biscuits and gravy with a tasty thymey spicy gravy. Hashbrowns that are brown and cooked nicely. The taco omelette with chicken had spicy chunks of meat with lots of cheese and fresh toppings. We went for a biscuit on the side and they served up with sweet honey. The home fries were fried to yummy perfection. Don’t be scared with the look eat outside if the weather is good and enjoy the food.

Through the years, The Spot was a true dive. Lois and Ken were owners the best very professional and always thanked us for our patronizing their Establishment!!! The present owner has not once thanked us… The bartenders are not professional. Yes they do serve stiff drinks a 10 to 13 second pour, the drinks have a name ____’s liver killer!!! The menu is dated pub grub, Boud’s is definitely inconsistent with their grub. It’s more of a geezer place, same puffy faces everyday!!!

For a dive Boud’s is decent and they have a selection of dinner plates, sandwiches, and other dishes. I had the deluxe quesadilla($ 8) with chicken, bacon, and mushrooms. It was served with sour cream and salsa. The salsa wasn’t great but the rest was a-okay. Nothing you couldn’t make at home but it was tasty enough and did the job. The clientele is eh. When I was waiting here for my cousin I got unwanted attention from two old guys. The first one was really disgusting and I basically had to tell him to F off. The second one seemed harmless but was still a lurker. No, I do not go to a bar to talk to 55+ yr old men. For this reason alone I probably will not go back and it really isn’t my type of place. However, bathrooms were clean and the bartender was nice. Prices are very reasonable. If you like a good dive and like to play pool this place might be up your alley.

We have driven past this place about a million times and decided to stop today for breakfast! Soo glad we did. We both had chicken fried steak and eggs. It was fantastic! We will be be back often for our traditional Saturday morning breakfast out.

Dive bar = cheap stiff drinks + sizeable menu of drunk munchies. Pool tables. Jukebox. Cigarette dispensers. Old men posted up at the bar on vinyl bar stools. Local pub near Northgate Mall. No frilly stuff. They have beer pong on Wednesdays, $ 5 buy in per team I think. Good place for a casual night out if you don’t want to drive down to Seattle proper and an authentic dive bar seems like it might fit the bill. You might not meet Prince Charming here but the Garlic Chicken Pizza is pretty scrumptious. The nachos are big and cheap too, if I remember correctly. Good size menu, and better food than you would expect.

Wow, what a great find. We walked in and thought it was just a dive. We ordered our late breakfast and it was awesome. Great tasting, portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. They had a great bloody Mary, and their drinks are stiff.

I’ve been here twice now and I really like this place! It’s a spacious but divey bar… and the food is spectacular!!! I was here for lunch and then yesterday we came to watch the Seahawks game after realizing how packed the Ram at Northgate was. They have a few specialty drinks as detailed on their menu, and they’re pretty decently priced. Reminded me of a nicer Earl’s on the Ave, to be honest. Their bartenders are really nice and efficient! I really loved that, and apparently, you can ring the bell behind the bar after you buy everyone in the bar a shot or something. Pretty cool, but is it really worth it? Anyway, the special was the fried chicken last night and it was sooooo good. I noticed that they ran out about an hour after I got there, which makes me grateful for being able to get an order when I did. My friends also got the wings, burger and pizza, all which looked really delicious and for a great price. They also serve breakfast all day and I heard their chicken fried steak is to die for!!! I’ll be back to try that for sure. The crowd can also be mixed here, it ranged from older regulars to the college-aged folks too. I’ll definitely be back considering it’s so close to home. Parking can be tricky though!
