Northgate Pizza

Ordered a pineapple pizzza. Its your typical sort of delivery pizza. However, I was not a huge fan of the garlic bread, which was cooked perhaps a moment too long. Overall, pretty decent! However, I’m not so sure this place exists anymore.

Well, I guess alot of people didn’t like it either because NOW IT IS CLOSED

I ordered delivery from these guys. The Pizza was good as usual, however, this time I had the wings as well. They only had two flavors, Hot & BBQ. The wings were WAY overcooked and did not taste right. So, the pizza is good, avoid the wings.

Pizza here is alright. Prices are decent with discounts and delivery was reasonable. My boyfriend and I got a large supreme for 16.50, and we were told that as a large it was 33% more pizza than dominos but… I don’t know if there is much truth there. But it would still have been worth it if the supreme was a typical supreme, which it is not and was the main disappointment. The supreme only had peperoni, Sausuge, onions, olives, and mushrooms… no bell peppers which is my fav part of it… :(Other than that it wasn’t too greasy and the crust was pretty chewy. Don’t know if I will return though, probably stick with take-​n-​bake at papa murphy’s.

Great pizza, not at all greasy and the toppings were fresh. Crust had the right amount of chewy firmness, and wasn’t cracker-​crunchy, which I hate! Got a large pie to go and it was ready in 15 minutes. Also cheaper than most other places! $ 21 for a 16″ large, including tax, when most other places run about $ 24 – 26 with tax. We’ll be back!

We stopped in her on our way home from work and ordered a couple calzones.
Service was very friendly and our order came out very quickly.
Once the calzones were in the car we could smell something wrong right away. There was a slight scorched smelled in the air. We ignored it, figuring some of the sauce may have leaked out and burned in the oven.
When we got home and tore into the calzones (we were starving) we discovered that the sauce they were using was scorched, and the scorch flavor went throughout the entire calzone.
Not wanting to go back out to return them, and too hungry to wait for a delivery order we made ourselves a couple grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.
We did call Northgate Pizza to tell them their sauce is scorched and they should stop serving it, but the guy who answered the phone was kind of rude about it and insisted their is nothing wrong with his sauce. I wonder how many other customers they had that night who were turned off by that taste and will never order from there again?

Boy were we disappointed in this pizza! With all the rave reviews we thought we would be in for a treat and we were wrong. The pizza was mediocre at best. We had a coupon that’s why we went with it rather than Pizza Hut or Lucianos (our preferred place but much more expensive). We fot the family deal which was 2 large 2 topping pizzas, a 12 piece order of wings, and a 2 liter of pop. Maybe their «specialty» pizzas are better than the ones where you pick a couple toppings but these pizzas were bland, the crust was dry, and it these just weren’t great pizzas. We went with the BBQ wings and these were also not very good. No sauce, dry, fatty, mostly gristle. Just not impressive. But lesson learned and we will just pay the extra $ 10 – 15 for Pizza Hut or Lucianos and get better pizza that makes it here faster (Northgate Pizza said 45 mins, it was more like 1.5 hour).

I was refered to this place by my boyfriend. He had eaten there once and told me it was great, so I’d thought I’d give it a shot.
To sum it up: When I’m craving pizza, this is where I’ll go!
No words can explain the cheesy goodness, the meaty freshness, the veggie crispness. This place is a winner! The staff is so friendly, the pizza AMAZING, and not too pricey. They also have awesome coupon deals and free delivery! Thanks guys for replacing Dominoes :)

My man just moved to Maple Leaf/​Northgate area so we were looking for a pizza place we could count on for lazy nights in.
Good prices, not greasy, friendly staff. Other than that it was very average pizza… kinda reminded me of Dominos. I dont think I would order from here again… it just didnt satisfy my pizza craving.

12 wings for $ 8!!! BBQ or hot?!? Just around the corner in the Northgate neighborhood?! Yay!
This place is great! It seems like the owner is a jolly guy with an accent and he was very friendly. I had some friends over the other day and I didn’t feel like cooking since I just got home from work. I asked for 3 large orders of wings and 2 orders of cheezy bread. The cheezy bread was okay and you get 4 pieces per order for $ 4. But everything was ready for pick up in 15 minutes! Very fast. When I went to get my order, he said, «Next time, you order the pizza, eh?!?» Ahhh, sooner than you think, Mr. Pizza Man… sooner than you think.
And maybe the shrimp pizza… that sounds interesting!

I was very curious on wanting to try to eat there until I got a coupon from Val-​pak and I have it delivered. It was really good. Love the spices added on to the pizza. Great coupon deals! I would order again:)

I just tried their pizza today after it was recommended by a client, and it was excellent. We just walked in, ordered, and it was ready to go in about 20 minutes. Very fresh, not too greasy, and good prices. Definitely better than the previous tenant’s pizza!
