I went with high expectations for their Boss Hog burger. It was their most expensive burger on the menu. Going for $ 6.49– while it tasted ok, it was the size of the burger that came short. The Tub of Fries gave this place an extra star. Not over fried or soggy and good amount of seasoning. Enough fries in the bucket to share with someone for sure. Careful when ordering their milkshakes. Though I didn’t order my self one. The 10 minutes I waited for my order I noticed there was a gallon of milk on top of their milkshake machine. Not once was it put in the refrigerator and was still out when I left the parking lot. Come to think of it, that gallon of milk was already out when I got there I can see myself craving their fries again but can do with out their burgers.

Not great. Everything is slathered in two much sauce. I’ve been here twice and didn’t end up finishing my meal either time. The big chains are actually better.

I’ve been going to Burger Boss since it opened, and I’ve grown to like their burgers more and more. Recently the service has gotten particularly good too. The manager or owner working is really nice and has brought my order to my car on two accounts now. Overall the burger patties are about Dick’s sized, but I like the overall quality more here. The super single is my favorite — single patty with pickles, lettuce, onion, cheese, and boss sauce. The Cowboy is also really good. I like the size of their burgers a lot because I never feel like I’ve over-eating; it’s just the right size. The fries are great, as are the onion rings. The chicken bites are breast meat and super tasty. I find myself going here more than Zippy’s these days because it’s convenient, easy access and parking, and their food is very satisfying and comforting on these cold winter nights.

Solid place to come but the wait sort of takes forever. But if you’re looking to get a basic burger, you’ve found it. The bacon sriracha sauce is pretty good too. I definitely will need to try some more to get a real feel but all in all, I was happy with my order and it traveled well as I took it back for the family in Beacon Hill.

I was here once when it first opened. The food was okay and a little pricey but cool. My problem was; it took so long for the order that I have never gone back nor been tempted to even though it would be easy for me to stop there. One day I will stop again and if they do anything right they could get a better rating from me. I’m not gonna hold my breath given the other reviews I’ve read.

The burgers are small in my opinion so if you’re hungry order from the more expensive side of the menu. The Boss sauce is excellent and really adds the special touch. I like Dick’s burgers better though but that’s probably because I ordered one of the 3.00 range burgers. If you like bacon, etc… then you’ll be spending more.

Burger Boss is definitely the place to go for a quick, drive up burger. With quality similar to Dick’s, our favorites are the Boss Hog and Dub-C. Burger Boss also has amazing crinkle fries that are seasoned to perfection. And if you don’t mind sharing, the tub is the way to go! They also have delicious shakes with my personal favorite being a tie between the Fudge Brownie and Classic Oreo. The only reason they lose a star is sometimes, as many other people have said, the service can be slow. I do understand that everything is made once you order, but with only one person ahead of us, it still took a little over ten minutes to receive our food. But ultimately if you are in the area and would like a burger that rivals Dicks, definitely feel free to check Burger Boss out!

The food here is okay. My first time here today, I went with the super single and the corn dog bites with ketchup, because I am apparently 10. The girl behind the counter was super nice, even with an impatient guy lurking and waiting for his order up front. And smoking by the entrance, too. What a jerk. Anyway, Burger Boss is a little drive in located in the Delridge area. You probably already knew that. So what sets them apart? Orders are walk up only, although I guess you can call in your order and pick it up, which is what I should’ve done on this chilly November day. I’ve gotten off track… the food… the corn dog bites were fresh out of the fryer when I got them. Still sizzling hot. Good stuff. Had to resist the urge to not completely fry my tongue, but they were good. The Super Single, the star of today’s show, was all right. The Boss Sauce had a nice little kick to it, a welcome surprise from the«secret sauce» at most burger places. I wish the lettuce was a full leaf and not just a handful of shredded. Tomatoes would be a nice touch, but they don’t seem to exist anywhere on the menu. The bun, although touted to be made fresh and delivered daily, was just kinda eh. If they toasted and buttered the buns on the griddle, they might have an all out winner. Stars knocked off for the wait time. I get that everything is made to order, and that’s cool. But to echo some previous reviews, a small order took over 10 minutes to receive. Also for my soda being more ice than drink. Other than that, they’re okay. If you’re in the White Center/Delridge area, drop by. And bring a book, and catch up on your reading, I guess.

The hamburgers aren’t that big as I thought they would be so I was kind of disappointed. I had bought two burgers, one chicken burger and deep fried cookies dough ball things. They weren’t that pricy but for the size they were, I was disappointed as well. Most likely won’t be buying anything from here anymore.

This place is going downhill fast. I used to eat here once or twice a week, but lately they’ve disappointed at every turn. I Always ask for my fries to be Unsalted, but last night I was told that the fries are pre-season ed before cooking. That’s bullshit! Then I wait 15 minutes for a burger that was so Overcooked it was barely edible. For food that’s made-to-order, this isn’t worth the wait. I Hate to see one of my favorite places go so far downhill.

For what it is, the food is decent. No complaints there. However, the service is unbelievably slow regardless of how busy they are. I’ve been there five times and I usually don’t order much — just a burger and a drink. 3 out of the 5 times I’ve been(most recent being 9÷10÷15), my food has taken more than 15 minutes… usually closer to 25 minutes. Although the staff is always nice and always apologizes for the delay, the slowness is really just too much. I can’t really chalk it up to the business being new any longer. Clearly there is a management issue. These guys just can’t seem to get it together. From now on I’ll just phone in an order to Zippy’s(which is tastier IMHO) and pick it up rather than wait forever outside Burger Boss with all the crappy obnoxious music they seem to enjoy blasting.

It’s our go-to place for a quick takeout burger. It’s a simple drive-up place with a couple of picnic benches off to the side. The menu offers a variety of burgers, and a couple of chicken sandwiches. I always get the Boss Hog. The Boss sauce is awesome. Crinkle fries are good, as are the onion rings– good crisp.

This place is my new favorite burger stop! Crinkle fries are delicious. Chicken bites, Dub-C burger and the Cowboy are my go to items. The peanut butter milkshakes are heavenly. Lots of fun dipping sauces to choose from. Everything is fresh, cheap prices. Love it!

Delicious and satisfying alternative to the regular fast food joints. My girlfriend and I are both regular customers when we need a quick burger fix and are never disappointed. The Dub-c is a great burger and the boss sauce has a little kick that makes it special. I usually order with extra. Crinkle fries and onion rings are great(eat them quickly) and you get a wide variety of sauces to choose from. Although I don’t get them, my girlfriend is in love with mixing and matching their milkshake flavors. Some other reviewers have complained about wait times, but I have never waited more than 5 minutes here on any of my visits.

Dropped by and it was a beautiful day and wanted to try BB. This place as you’ve read is similar to going to a Dick’s and the burgers are just a bit bigger than a slider, so if you’re really hungry expect to order 2 of them or just get the tub of fries as it’s huge. The best thing here is the crinkle cut fries and the burger is just meh, the first bite or two is good and then you can’t really finish it as it seems to melt together into a blob of meat, sauce, onions and bread. A plus was the guy at the window is a great guy and the service was personable. He even walked out my meal without having to call me to the window. They have a few picnic tables and I enjoyed eating it right then and there. Overall, the service and fries is the best. The burgers are good if you like Dick’s or a McDonalds cheeseburger.

Their burgers are very similar to Dick’s, but I love Burger Boss’ crinkle cut fries! Those were so good, especially dipped in Boss sauce. The burger is kinda thin and even though the fries were good, they were a bit too salty for my tastes. I came up to the window and was able to order and receive my order fairly quick since I was the only one there. Since I work nearby, I will definitely be coming back here to eat lunch and try the other menu items.

The same truck that delivers food to the crappy cafeteria at my former place of work is the same truck that delivers the food to this restaurant(Sysco). No surprise, this is why the food here is neither fresh nor tasty. I have been to Burger Boss twice, once when it first opened, and once in November. Both times made me regret going there. The biggest problems? Bad food and SLOW service(both times I went). The fries are just like anything you could by at Target in the frozen section and fry at home, except what you make at home would be much better. The seasoning on the fries tastes weird and there is just enough of a sprinkling on the fries to tolerate them, but still have dissatisfaction in every bite. Also, I have yet to have fries there weren’t cold. I can somewhat understand problems when first opening(although, seriously, there are gazillions of burger joints that have opened more smoothly– perhaps do a little research and adequate training, maybe a soft open before opening your doors), but in November after you have been open for MONTHS. Yeah, no. The service was soooo, slow. This place doesn’t have lines of people waiting to eat here, so things should move pretty quickly, right? WRONG. I was the ONLY person in line(for my trip in November), and it took at least 15 minutes to get an order of fries. 15 minutes AND they were cold! Luckily, Zippy’s is close by, so no need to waste your time with Burger Boss. Skip this joint; bad food and slow service aren’t worth your time.

In my short AND long versions of Burger Boss 2 days after it opened, it was pretty clear I had a bad experience. I went back twice, and guess what? It was still disappointing. Typically, I don’t update reviews of businesses that I give a second chance to and have continuously bad experiences. However one of the owners, Amanda, in her comments on my review, chalked up my experience to Burger Boss being new; I wanted to share additional feedback because the problems I experienced after were the same old slowness time after time. The second time I went back, I ordered another cheeseburger. I waited about 15 minutes for it and the place was not crowded. Again, the burger was cold, but at least it had cheese on it this time. The third time I went back to Burger Boss, I just ordered a shake. How bad could a shake be? How long could it take with only 1 other order before me? The shake was mostly melted because I waited so long, and the other person had waited so long for their food that they left even though they had already paid. This visit was in October. 3 strikes, Burger Boss is out. :(

Overall, I wasn’t particularly impressed by Burger Boss. Similar to Dick’s, Burger Boss unfortunately has none of the charm or curb appeal. ********* CUSTOMERSERVICE: Speed of service wasn’t horrible, but it did take about 7 – 10 mins to get our food. For a place that’s supposed to be a fast food joint, that might be too long. This location recently opened up, so this might be due to a potential learning curve and speed would probably improve soon. Also, at this time, they’re not able to accept phone orders, so you basically order and then wait in your car until they call your name for food pickup. ********* THEFOOD: I ordered a classic cheeseburger, fries, and a strawberry milkshake. The meat paddie in the burger was pretty thin and dry. When I bit into the burger, it kind of reminded me of a better but slightly more expensive version of the cheese burger on the dollar menu at McDonald’s. The milkshake was okay, but it was too thick for my liking. The dipping sauce(which was some kind of ketchup with ranch mixture) was pretty tasty though. If I’m in a bind and happen to be closeby, I may consider going back to Burger Boss after they work out their kinks.

Gotta change that fry oil! Went here because Zippy’s was already closed for the night. Front counter staff were friendly. Cold night, and no lines. I ordered some cheese burgers, a boss hog, bucket of fries and two milkshakes — Choc &PB. The Hog was ok, nice amount of bacon. One of the cheese burgers was so thin I had to laugh, it looked like thick jerky. Having more in common with what was scraped off the grill then what was put on it. The fries came in a nice sized bucket for like $ 4, but I couldn’t get past the smell and taste. Equally as bad was the extra boss sauces I got. Really not good — bad mayo? I woke up early this morning with an upset tummy. Shakes were OK, the peanut butter was better than the chocolate. Big dollop of whip cream in the cup meant a lot less shake for me though. No lines on parking lot to guide you in the dark, park perpendicular to the building.
