My partner and I(an alternative doula from Redmond) read about this pop up café in a Japanese travel magazine. The selection ranged from exotic pumpkin spiced lattes to rare Canadian blends. When I asked the barista(who had a strong Montana City accent!) if I could use my Diners Club card however, he gave me a death stare which caused me to return to therapy. Overall, I would recommend, just make sure to bring cash or a gold skull.

THe desription for a two star review is «meh, could have been better and that ISEXACTLYHOW I FEEL!!!11!!1!1!!! The coffee is fine, but certinly NOT café material. The owner likes to hear himself talk I think. And whenever I am there and he is on the phone he ISALWAYSHITTINGTHECOUNTER. I don’t know why. If I were going to compare this place to a planet it would be Pluto because the atmosphere here is cold as ICE!!!11!!!11 Pluto is no longer a planet, And to me, café Monte is no longer a café I will be going to!!!

Excellent customer service… terrible coffee. I’ve only been here once but I am an expert. I’ve got to say the customer service is downright amazing. I walked in wanting some coffee and by the time I left I had expanded my territory to all 50 states and added 4 lead types. I’m not quite sure what that means exactly but the way they were talking about it I just felt good about the decision. The coffee was absolute garbage though. Also I am pretty sure there is a ghost who lives in the building, I don’t know how I feel about that.

Café Monte is a 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley’s novel of the same name. The prototypical summer blockbuster, its release is regarded as a watershed moment in motion picture history. In the story, a giant man-eating great white shark attacks beachgoers on Amity Island, a fictional summer resort town, prompting the local police chief to hunt it with the help of a marine biologist and a professional shark hunter

This place screams MONEY. If you have champagne taste, like matte black everything, and murdered out SUVs then this place is definitely your ideal coffee spot. If you decide to come here, then dress to the nines, put on your highest heels, darkest sunglasses and strut in like you own the place, and I bet you’ll get your coffee for free!
