So Starbucks is Starbucks right? You love it, you hate it, either way you still stop in when you need a coffee. And the staff is generally good wherever you go, they do tend to do a good job with customer service in my opinion. This staff goes above and beyond. The woman who is here in the early afternoon is so happy and friendly you just can’t help but smile when interacting with her! Good people, good coffee. Thanks for brightening my day!

They have the clover machine here so we tried it out. Plus it’s in Pioneer Square which is a cool place to hang out. Head across the street for the underground tour or a quick trip up to Pikes Market.

So I decided to be gracious and give this place a second chance. The customer in front of me asked the barista for a chai latte with no milk. No big deal, right? Well, the braniac behind the counter went to ring it up and read the note on the cup and acted totally confused, asking«is this supposed to have soy milk, or what?» and proceeded to lecture the customer, going ONANDON about how they never make a chai latte without milk and that was completely unusual. And the customer just looked annoyed and said, «Um, okaaay. This has never ever been a problem at any other Starbucks.» To the cashier: why is it so hard to exclude one ingredient from a drink without launching into a lecture about how the drink is «supposed» to be made?! The customer is always right! This Starbucks should send their staff back to the customer service class.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the baristas at this store. Most mornings on my way to work I stop by for my usual coffee, and I am always greeted by the staff here. Who are not only friendly but genuinely kind and welcoming. I wanted to give a huge gold star to Dustin and Dede at the store. They always ask how I am doing, and make my morning coffee perfect every time.

Close to my hotel en enroute to my out of office destination. Clean store friendly AM staff, not been here other times so one can only assume the too are good. Though like most big cities panhandling is an issue on most leave one alone but a few a brazen and hit you up for change. Nonetheless stop by and pick a window view and people watch.

I like coming here. This location is one of the few, I think, that gets the white chocolate mocha down right. Other than a lot of the homeless hanging around its not to bad

Just like any other Starbucks, but a bit friendlier. It’s probably how they cope with the continuous chaos — because this place is busy, likely due to the location which is prime for tourists.

Too bad there isn’t a negative star rating. This Starbucks location has the rudest employees and is totally lacking in the Pioneer Square ambiance. If your visiting the area please don’t judge Seattleites by the rude service and attitudes of the employees here!!. I work in Pioneer Square, and have many friends that do as well; as a local I would never recommend this Starbucks, neither would they! I check in many guests at a local hotel and NEVER recommend this Starbucks!!! In fact I recommend getting your java hit at one of the other fabulous cafés in the square. Dustin– the manager– needs to spank his employees. Outrageous.

I’m born and raised from Seattle, so Starbucks is a must! So when my family decided to take a family day out to do the Underground tour, we stopped by this particular store and boy was I disgusted by the attitude from the cashier and barista. I can’t remember their names exactly but I believe the baristas name was something near Alisa. My sister, niece and I went in to order our drinks, which we had rewards from our gold memberships. The cashier seemed annoyed and impatient right off the bat, and snapped at my neice when she asked if there were any butter crossiants in the back because the display didnt have any.(She never answered and never went in the back to check) Before I finished paying, I asked the cashier if I could get my venti Passion ice tea lemonade with 2 pumps of raspberry, split into two cups.(I’m a bit sick, and I didn’t want my son drinking from the same straw) when I walked away to wait on the other end, my niece who was next in line to order seen the barista roll her eyes at the cashier because of my order. The barista, Alisa or whatever her name is, didn’t add the raspberry like I had ordered and when I turned around to ask her if it was added, she snapped and popped an attitude. I tried calling the store to talk to the manager but the phone js kept on ringing. I hope they read this and I do hope they correct their attitude because one day they will come across someone who wont take their crap. Won’t be coming to this store again!

Very rude employees and manager. They have some ridiculous policy regarding their rest rooms. You need a code to open the only(dirty) bathroom. You have to be a customer to get the code(fair enough). But you have to make the purchase FIRST. So, you walk in and the line is 15 people deep and you really need to go to the bathroom before getting in line – what kind of reasonable help might you get? None. What does the manager say? «Yes it’s kind of a rude policy. We have a problem. Mostly it’s homeless people.» «OK, so we agree it’s a rude policy and personally I don’t discriminate against people for being less fortunate. But can I have a code now? I’ll buy a coffee after I go to the bathroom but I’m a little uncomfortable now and I don’t think you should even make a customer have this kind of conversation.» Nope. So under this silly policy, I couldn’t walk in here with my girlfriend when she needs desperately to use the restroom, and have me wait in line to order while she uses the facilities? I won’t be back here. The bathroom is filthy, the barista made a lousy espresso and the manager is a dolt.

This Starbucks has the best employees working there. I hang out for several hours to resist smoking as a method to stop and they actually encourage me to stick around when I told them that. They always smile, engage the customers, and never made a mistake on my drink that wasn’t easy to correct. If you want a a place to hang out, this is it.

Everybody here is amazing. You can’t go wrong with great coffee and great people! I have only been here 3 times while I visited Seattle and they remembered my order. It’s pretty cool that the people that work here really enjoy what they do.

It’s another Starbucks but perhaps a bit different history at this location. The usual custumer suspects about their random electronic & social business. I wandered on in for a venti soy chai + 2 shots dirty chai. I like.

The morning weekday crew is charming. They make my ice grande soy dirty chai quickly and really well. Plus, they understand about my addiction to the berry coffee cake. :o)

A solid Starbucks with staff who churn out drinks quickly even when it’s busy. A godsend for those stuck at the KC courthouse.

Large store with a long wooden table that is great for doing work! It wasn’t very busy so you could spread out all your papers on the table. There was also comfortable looking couches but I was there to do work so I didn’t try them out. There is also a bathroom is there which is always a plus. The coffee and tea selection is the same as all starbucks but the baristas were really helpful and there was a very comfortable vibe in the store.

Unfortunately(for them at least), I’ve given up Starbucks due to the consistently poor flavor in their coffee. Furthermore, I choose to patron local business and prefer more organic choices and healthier gluten-free options alongside my coffee.

Always nice to return to the first Bux I ever went to in land where it all started… Putting the charm of the Pioneer Square behind you this Bux is not too shabby at all. Atmosphere: Huge area to hang out in and the giant windows surely keep you occupied as you watch the tourist, bums and city walking tours go creeping by. Service: When I placed my order this morning, the barista made the following comment with a smile, «mmmm that’s sounds great!» What a great attitude first thing in the morning. Enjoy!
